The detailed information from advertisement to joining is detailed below.SBI Concerned department(CRPT) issues advertisement regarding vacancies.Online test - to shortlist the candidates.How to write the Online test ?The written exam consists of English, Verbal aptitude and numerical ability.All the above mentioned sections were qualifying in nature.The next section is technical section which is deeply based on the profile opted by the candidate.If the candidate applies for scale-2 , the technical section will be subjected to his area where the candidate is applied to the position.Accuracy is highly important with respect to large set of candidates applying to the positions.The pattern and type of the questions will be answered by soon.Basic weightage includes Operating Systems, Linux , UNIX , Computer Networks, Programming, Protocols and algorithms.Choose the questions wisely and attempt carefully.Once the candidates clear the pre-designated cut off , the candidates are called for interview.Most of the candidates will be called for interview either at GITC , CBD BELAPUR or Corporate center , Nariman point.Interview Procedure :All the candidates have to reach the designated place.All the candidates were seated in an meeting room.The candidate have to bring a set of Xerox copies, offer letter & salary slip of current organization.Biometric verification will be taken for the candidate.The TA will be reimbursed to the candidate 2AC train ticket. If the candidate arrives by flight, boarding pass is mandatory, but the candidate gets only the 2AC amount.The candidate is called in.The panel consists of GM , along with 5–6 managers who will be interviewing candidate.The interview is both technical and non-technical.The interview process takes up to 30–45 mins.The detailed interview process will described soon.Once the candidate clears the interview, the candidate is provisionally selected.Step by Step detailed explanation :Medical formalities : There are LHOs all over India for SBI. There is a tie-up with medical diagnosis centers all over India. The candidate have to go to the center with appointment letter(soft copy) and PAN Card/Aadhar Card/Govt. ID Card. It takes half a day for testing and report can be collected either end of the day or next day.The report have to be submitted to the bank doctor at LHO who certifies that the candidate is fit to join the bank.Once th LHO collects the data of the sucessfuly completed medical process candidates, they are sent to GITC CBD BELAPUR.GITC CBD BELAPUR issues offer letter in speed post to the address mentioned in the application form. In case of change of address, notify either to GITC or LHO. If the candidate wants the recieve the offer letter at current residence in their place of city , they can put a request at LHO.Notice period of Candidate : some organization ask the candidate to serve the notice period. The candidate can put a request of notice period as required by organization and put a letter to GITC.Usually , the first joining will be after a month since the offer letter are issued and basically 10th of a month. Subsequently the next joining will be next 10th of a month.Since most of the candidates are all over India, the candidate can put an advance request to HR for accomodation at the nearby Guest house at Nerul colony.The estate department allocates the Guest House at SBI Colony, Nerul which accomodates two candidates in a room. Maximum number of people in an house will be 4 which subjects to availability.Note : Basically as the huge number of candidates will be called for joining, parents may not be allocated in the Guest House. Intially , I brought my parents to guest house and they didn't allocate to parents as there is no availability. It's better to have a mail confirmation for parents in the guest house.There is mess which serves the food 3 times a day in the colony.Joining procedure starts on the next day.Mandatory E-learning assignment in techvidya :The candidate have to go through a series of lectures in techvidya Portal.The candidate is evaluated on the basis an small online test consisting of 100 marks.This test is very important and mandatory on the day of joining.Without attempt and qualifying on this test, the candidate is not allowed to join on the scheduled day.The qualifying mark is minimum 50 marks. The total marks is 100. The questions vary from basic to advanced.Most of the times, the candidate takes the exam lightly because the candidate is not aware that these marks are considered for confirmation after 2 years. This examination marks are taken into consideration for confirmation.Joining Procedure at the SBI GITC CBD BELAPURTemporary ID will be issued to the candidates at the reception.The candidates can keep the luggage at the security room if they had brought along with them.The parents can wait at the reception if they have come with the candidate.The candidates will seated in an conference room.Note : The above picture is in SBILD Secunderabad training center during training days.Followed by few biometric verification submitted at the test centre and validity of the candidate , the candidate is further asked to submit the declaration.The intial two years probation for all the candidates will be in SBI GITC NAVI MUMBAI.Post confirmation , the candidate is allowed for transfers, but most of the officers will be posted in Navi Mumbai and usually takes a longer time for transfer.At the end of the day, the candidate will get PF ID generated after filling the details in portal.The candidate has to be mention the dependent details for medical facilities.
