HIPAAThere aren't central systems that contain an individuals entire medical record, which means that each doctor has their own record. In order for other people to gain access to this medical record, the patient (or guardian) needs to authorize the release of that health information to the other person or organization.Frankly, I don't see any reason for my school nurse (or the school in general) to have access to my child's protected health information. They only need relevant information, such as medications my child needs to take during school and immunization records. There is nothing else in my child's medical history that they need to be able to access, so I would not authorize the school nurse (or the school in general) to have access to the child's full medical record. It's none of their business and it's not information they need to be able to do their job.

Because the Supreme Court only ruled that there was no sort of “blanket immunity,” for the President when it came to the documents in question. The Supreme Court often makes narrow rulings. In fact, that is why the court does not like lower courts handing out broad nationwide injunctions. The courts are only supposed to rule on the actual cases brought by the litigants in front of them and their specific circmstances.One of the issues we have when the Supreme Court rules on something is we don’t dig into the situation enough to see what it is the courts actually say. In this circumstance we see the Supreme Court ruled against the Administration so people get this idea that it is a done deal. So when the Admin. once again challenges people seem to think that now the Admin. is acting against the Supreme Court.Here the Supreme Court simply said the idea of some blanket immunity does not cut it. So, they remanded the case back to the lower courts but said that the Administration can still challenge the demand for the documents on any other arguments that they feel they could still raise. That is exactly what they did, revised their challenge to include different arguments.

Oliver North was convicted for running part of the operation but his conviction was overturned on questions of immunity previously granted by congress. The facts were not in dispute. Amazingly, Republicans hold up the hostage release as proof of the magic that only they posses yet that is simply false. Rubio wrongly credits Reagan for 1981 release of hostages from Iran For the record, Reagan’s administration holds the record for the most convictions and scandals of any modern president.Both of those incidents are major scandals in any historical discussion but Republicans seemingly relish their presidential wins by suspending their adherence to laws. It’s hard to imagine a Republican winning the presidency without some sort of major scandal to help them. If you consider the appointment of George W. Bush to the presidency by the Republicans on the Supreme Court as a scandal, you can confidently state that all but one Republican president (George HW Bush) in the past half-century was initially elected scandal-free.It seems like Republicans are creating a pattern in their pursuit for the White House.To sum up, I am shocked at the interference in our elections by the Russians, and possible collusion by the Trump campaign, but I’m more shocked at the fact that we are now so numbed to Republican’s dismissal of laws that we even have to ask the question you are posing.
