Q: If atheism is just a philosophy, why does it compete with religions?Atheism is not a philosophy. It’s a conclusion. You say something hard to believe and you’re not believed. It’s not about gods, they don’t seem to exist. If gods answered questions the conclusion would be different. But they don’t. I say now, “Hey gods, any gods, tell me what’s on a paper on my desk, so we know”, how many actual answers do you expect from actual gods? I expect zero, exactly as if no gods existed.Atheism doesn’t compete with religions, just as not believing in the tooth fairy doesn’t compete with children believing in the dental refund program. Religions compete against logic. Logic is happy to ignore them. You’re free to believe whatever you want, but it won’t become true just because you believe it. Nor does the fact of the Earth being round compete in any sense with the flat Earth nonsense.The simple fact is that nobody can show sufficient evidence to even consider gods possible, let alone probable. The only alleged evidence people talk about is ignorance, wishful thinking and emotions. If gods existed, they could settle the question. If gods wished us to know, they would. It’s a flat fact that there’s no evidence. The best explanation for that lack is the absence of gods. The believers try to offer an alternative, i.e. gods’ mysterious ways, which just makes gods nasty. Or our mental limitations, which is well known, but would affect believers more than non-believers. We’ve invented the scientific method to deal with our limitations. Meanwhile religions not only didn’t solve a single thing, but can’t even agree with each other, hell, even with themselves. Feel free to offer a coherent explanation for the multitude of religions and denominations within religions. Feel free to offer positive evince of gods. Until then, the more clear thinking of us will conclude it’s traditional self-deception. And if you think yours is a conclusion, do provide the flowchart leading from evidence to your conclusion and the willingness to examine alternatives.

As far as I am aware of, Dental Implant is reimbursable only in accidental cases. As in, when dental implant is being placed to replace a missing or fractured tooth during accident. You need to provide proof of accident, like x-rays, first consultation prescription and all, for the refund.In non traumatic cases, dental implant placement is considered unfortunately as an aesthetic procedure, at least in India.

I once worked in a dental clinic, my bosses were both dentist's with one of them actually being a specialist. They were a married couple, mid 30’s and of Asian descent. I absolutely loved working for them, they were lovely people and generous bosses who seemed to really care about the staff. Now something most people don't know about the dental industry is just how many people will have a consult, get quoted for the required work, sit back and have the work done and then when it comes time to pay, they say that they cannot afford to pay! The worst part is that there isn't really a lot that can be done about it, so we would basically have to let them go with a promise to pay later. Eventually this lead to us having a lot of money owed to us in outstanding accounts and not much we could do to claim the funds. This lead to us having a staff meeting where we basically tried to figure out a way to stop this from happening, one of the bosses basically decided that the best way to handle the situation was for us to judge people by their appearance while they were in the reception area and pre-charge them a certain amount such as $500 with any money not used during their treatment to be refunded to them after the appointment. We were supposed to judge people by the cost and appearance of their clothing, their age, race, smell and general demeanor. I found this idea to be absolutely ridiculous! Can you imagine being required to pre-pay your dental treatment before you've even seen the dentist? Especially if the person sitting next to you in the waiting room doesn't have to pre-pay for their treatment because they're wearing more expensive shoes than you?? I also don't think that only scruffy looking people commit this type of behaviour, I believe even more 'rich' looking people pull these kinds of stunts if they think that they can get away with it! I just couldn't bring myself to treat people that way and I left the job soon after.
