I rehomed my dog. The new owners said I can visit him whenever I want to see him. Is 5 days later too soon?

I rehomed my dog. The new owners said I can visit him whenever I want to see him. Is 5 days later too soon?First, they were being nice. They were not really expecting you to stop by on any random day without calling (i.e. “whenever I want”). Or to visit at all. Ever.Second, if you gave your dog up through a rescue or shelter, the rescue or shelter might have rules about disrupting the dogs’ new life. Check the surrender agreement and adoption agreement. If you have an informal agreement with the new owner(s) - no shelter or rescue adoption contract - then the new owner is an idiot because you could randomly demand your dog back claiming you just asked them to take care of your dog for a while. Most adoption contracts indicate you have 3 business days from surrender to change your mind. After that 3 business days is past you have no legal right or privilege to be anywhere near the dog. You’re just another person on the street. When I’m asked to foster a new rescue, for example, I do not tell anyone I have the dog for those 3 business days. Once the 3 business days is past, I can post pictures and let friends and family know about my new foster. The rescue is responsible for advertising when the dog is available for adoption, which might be a few days, weeks or even months after those 3 business days.Third, if you gave the dog up then you should never visit the dog because it will confuse the dog and delay settling in, training, confidence, etc. The new owners will have all sorts of behavioral issues to deal with given the confusion.

What happens if an adopted kid's biological parents want them back?

When you place a child for adoption, you are required to legally relinquish your parental rights. However, most adoption agreements allow the birth parent/s a predetermined period of time to change their minds - this could be a few days up to several months. During this period of time, adoptive parents know there are no guarantees. If this period of time has passed, a biological parent could attempt to nullify the adoption contract by arguing they were not of sound mind when they signed the contract, or that they signed the contract under duress. A family law attorney could advise as to whether the biological parent has a strong case to nullify the adoption agreement.

Where can I surrender my aggressive Cane Corso so he can get the proper help and training he needs to become the dog I know he can be so he is not put down at the early age of 2 (I already have 3 surrender apps in with no responses back yet)?

Where did you acquire this dog? If it was through a breeder, did you have a contract?REPUTABLE breeders require a contract outlining the purchase of their litter(s), the responsibilities of the buyer, and the responsibilities of the seller. Even Rescues have an Adoption Agreement.Contact that breeder and return it to him/her. REPUTABLE breeders will take their litter(s) back although you will most likely not get your money back. If the breeder refuses, based on what you have written you will most likely have to euthanize this dog because the aggression is a liability and a danger to you and to others. If you don’t want to euthanize this dog, you will have to invest a lot of money rehabilitating this dog and even then, lifetime management will be required. As for surrendering this dog to a rescue, I can tell you from experience I don’t know of any rescue that would be willing to take on this liability. BTW…it is not a Rescue’s responsibility to provide help and training of this dog. It is YOUR responsibility.

Feedbacks from Our Clients

The software has a lot of great features. One of my favorites, for instance, is how easy it is to correct an error. For instance, if I forget to attach a document, I can go back and attach it without having to start all over again with the set up process. Same thing can be said if I need to add a recipient. I can go back and correct the setup and the recipient, determine if they will receive a copy of the document or will be signing. I will then at the moment, just click "re-send" and be done with it. After the recipient views and/or sign the document, I will get a notification. Another feature I like, is the fact that you do not need to upload documents. You can drag and drop it. You can also send bulk envelopes and share envelopes between CocoDoc users. With CocoDoc, you can also get a history of your transaction, which is great. It shows when the envelope was created, sent, viewed, completed, re-sent, corrected and more.
