Because universal healthcare is great and your argument is based on lies.First of all, I pay slightly less tax than the average in New York, picking that as a reasonable equivalent to London.Secondly, tax is the only contribution I make towards my healthcare. Whereas you pay tax, pay for health insurance and then have to pay again when you actually require treatment.Thirdly, it literally isn’t possible for healthcare to cost more than in the US. My dad had cancer a few years ago. He never had a job that paid particularly well, so never paid more than about £100 a month in tax. The treatment he received would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the US, far more tax than he’d ever contributed, and we would have been bankrupted.The NHS is not more expensive than private healthcare in the US and you know it, so don’t troll.Edit: my first answer to each 1K upvotes. Thanks all. Bring a Brit, the concept of universal healthcare that is free at the point of usage is very dear to me.

Airtel Secure!! Scam of the century!!To all you guys who are paying a premium hoping that they would pay for your phone’s repair, stop it immediately because they will scam you!I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I had kept it on my bed and on my movement on the bed, my pillow touched the phone and it dropped hard on floor and it cracked the back panel (Back panel is glass).Now, I register a claim on Airtel Secure, upload the pics, they ask me for more confirmation and I do that.2 days later, I receive a call saying my phone’s claim was being rejected! The reasons were no less than stupid and hilarious!Here are the reasons!They said there was no external force acting on the phone to approve the claim!! LOL!!!They also said there was no accident involved in this incident at all!! When I asked him what is the meaning of accidental, they said someone comes and hits you, and your phone falls!! LOLThey said it was my neglect which caused the phone to fall. When I have placed my phone on bed safely and my phone falls from my bed due to an unforeseen event, it’s an unfortunate incident. But hey this is why I got myself an INSURANCE!!I have a recording with the customer care agent with all those hilarious statements which is absolutely hilarious.I intend to take this to the consumer court and bring this scam down!EDITTwist to the tale! Oneassist is the TPA who is providing the service. The insurer providing the insurance is Airtel who is not registered with IRDA! IRDA refused to take a complaint!People are asking me to upload the conversation. Guys please understand that the customer care executive has a right to privacy too. I may have been duped by the company’s policy. But I have nothing against the person who spoke to me.
