Sharing one incident which will tell you something about RSS.I am a Swayamsevak from past 8 years. RSS has completely changed me as a person in a very very postive way. Currently i am in bengaluru, where we have a weekly meeting (Its called IT Milan) of all swayamsevaks who because of their daily job, are not able to attend daily shakhas.Since RSS is an open organisation anybody could come and attend shakhas/Milan without any official registration. And this leads to people of different ideologies joining the organisation. To connect with each other we have a whatsapp group to update every member on milans, or any upcoming events. One day, one person in my group shared something related to Rahul Gandhi. See the screenshots:See the reply of the person who is managing the group.This is the culture of RSS. This is the discipline i am being taught since the day i am attending shakhas. It teaches us not to make any personal attacks on anybody.I don't think this organisation could ever be a threat to our democracy.

In the famous DC story Kingdom Come, Superman is on the side of official registration and legal controls governing superhumans. There is a giant super-prison constructed to put anyone who resists or refuses. Batman is among the leaders of the "resistance" to Superman's plans and the government regulations. The context that starts it all off is a tragic set of circumstances and growing public outcry about excesses by superhumans and costumed vigilantes.If that sounds similar to Marvel's Civil War story, that's because the two stories are in fact very similar in many ways. Kingdom Come was published a decade before Civil War, though.I think there's little doubt that Civil War was inspired by Kingdom Come. Not that Marvel's story didn't do amazing unique things with the concept, and it was among the best company-wide crossover "event" comic story arcs in history. But still, yes it obviously had a lot of similarities to DC's epic story arc from ten years earlier.Superman is certain of the rightness of his path, and he is willing to fight former allies and allow former villains to become "heroes" to help enforce the registration/regulation of superhumans. But he is also very sad and conflicted, and has doubts several times. (SPOILER ALERT -- eventually, Superman sees that the UN is willing to destroy all superhumans to protect the rest of society, and that has a big impact on the story and on Superman's views.)So in the Marvel story, I think Superman would again side with the forces demanding registration and regulation of superhumans and costumed vigilantes.

It wasn't really something that you "took"... at least I don't know of anyone that went every week. And there weren't any grades or official registration. It was merely a weekly opportunity for frosh to interact with one of the worlds greatest physicists and ask him questions... on anything from QED to lockpicking.There were some great answers to those questions. But my favorite story was when I asked him (in all innocence) why Hilbert Spaces were important in physics.He gave us a bunch of more or less incomprehensible (at the time) math that showed he obviously knew how they were used... but he really struggled to make us understand it... and eventually he said "If I can't explain that to freshmen, I guess I don't understand it as well as I thought I did. Thanks for asking!". And he seemed genuinely pleased...
