Even the notorious New York Newspaper, “THE POST,” owned by Rupert Murdoch, screamed today, “STOP THE INSANITY!” What Americans are witnessing is a Donald Trump Meltdown. Sheer Fear of Letitia James and Cyrus Vance, Incumbent District Attorney of New York County, New York, encompassing the island of Manhattan and Marble Hill.

That’s UFC — hardly a bastion of liberalism — at Madison Square Garden — the premium sports and entertainment venue in his hometown. Add to that the fact that Trump was actually booed and mocked when he voted, presumably for himself, in November 2016 in Manhattan. Add to that the fact that he didn’t even win 10% of the vote in Manhattan or the Bronx, only about 17% in Brooklyn, and just about 20% in Queens — his home borough.Donald Trump is not well liked in New York. Actually, that’s putting it mildly. Donald Trump has been a figure of derision in New York for several decades. Donald Trump has been suspected of illicit real estate dealings in New York for many years, yet he managed to avoid any real attention from law enforcement in spite of his unsavory business partners.That’s all changed. Donald Trump relishes making enemies, and he’s made quite a few back home — and he’s given them plenty of reason to come after him. Everyone in New York who has the power to destroy Donald Trump and his mercenary family is now lining up to do so, from the US Attorney’s offices in both the Southern District of New York (Manhattan) and the Eastern District of New York (Brooklyn and Queens), to the Manhattan District Attorney, to the State’s Attorney General, to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance (NYS’s IRS), and of course the Governor himself.Whether Trump is being treated “very badly” is really a matter of perspective. He should have thought of that before he started routinely pissing off every single person in the United States who hasn’t fallen for his con.Trump is used to standing in front of an adoring crowd and mocking everyone within sight or hearing, with no restraints and no filters. Too bad for Trump, some of these people have sensitive feelings, and some of them have no problem fighting back. They also don’t have terms that expire in January 2021.So I would take him at his word on this one. He’s leaving New York because he doesn’t feel welcome in New York anymore. And he’s really not. Not where it counts the most.
