Its a sought after branch. How did it come to be?Me: That is a story with a twist mam. I never intended to be an engineer. I was a cadet of the National Defence Academy before I was withdrawn on medical grounds. In order to not waste an year, I took the best option available to me. I had enough marks in JEE to get a good college in WB and just miss the NITs and such.Panelist: What service cadet were you?Me: Army cadet, mam.Panelist: What was the score of the topper of your batch?Me: I had a 7.52 CGPA and the topper had an 8.6Panelist: Okay.P: What have you been doing for the past year?Me: Interned with BYJU's for the last sem but could not join them full time due to CAT and management entrance committements. But read the fullform on the board of local RERA office while heading to UBS and had a discussion with brother in law regarding the same not a week back) Spoke about their functioning and responsibilities as Real Estate Regulatory Authority.P: You have had some practice with GD, right? It is mentioned that it was a subject in your engineering?Me: Yes sir. It was taught and practiced as a part of our grooming and interpersonal skill training as part of language lab and ppt presentation.P: What can you tell me about meta tags in websites?Me: I am sorry but I don't know about that.
