Mortgage disclosures are what the Lender will send to you when you start a Refinance or a Purchase. These disclosures are State and Federal disclosures that ALL Lenders have to send to a potential client. The disclosures will have everything about you and your loan. Ifs is FHA, VA or Conventional, your income, Employment will be required as well so that we as Lenders can calculates your Debt to Income ratio and that you have the ability to repay the Loan. These are the disclosures the Underwriter will use to determine an Approval.

IANAL, so a couple of things for reference:Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6, covering grand juries.An article by a former federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York under Rudolph Giuliani, general counsel of the Senate Judiciary Committee under then-chair Joseph R. Biden, and general counsel of the White House Office of Administration under Bill Clinton: Don’t Wait For a Redacted Mueller Reportand a note that we’re talking about release to Congress, not the public. That makes a lot of difference.The Constitution gives Congress the power of impeachment and of oversight of the other two branches of government. That argues strongly for them seeing the unredacted report of any significant investigation involving the President or other officials in the executive branch.So does the law permit such?As I see it, there are four issues around release of the report:Barr’s stated intent to redact information about “peripheral third parties”. This is a question of DOJ policy, not of law. It could, therefore, be changed by the Attorney General as the head of DOJ. I would argue that in this case the national interest in seeing the information should overrule this policy, which in the general case I agree is a good idea. If DOJ wants to refer to unindicted people as “Individual-1” or simiar as is their normal practice in indictments, that would be fine. But redacting the information entirely — particularly with a political appointee making the calls on who, exactly, is a “peripheral third party” is not something I’m at all comfortable with.Information about ongoing investigations. Again, this is not strictly a legal issue. I can certainly see redacting this information on a public release, and perhaps even to the entire Congress. But to the Intelligence and Judiciary committees, I can’t see a justification for this. They should be informed what information is sensitive in this sense and sanctioned if any of it leaks, but seeing it is essential to their Constitutional duty.National security information. This is more of a legal issue. But even so, there should be no problem releasing the report without this redacted at least to the “Gang of Eight”, who regularly receive national security information.Grand Jury information. This is the most frequently cited sticking point, usually with reference to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6(e), which many people seem to think is an insurmountable obstacle to ever releasing grand jury information.To that, I would respond that the Watergate report of Leon Jaworski was released to the Judiciary committee including grand jury testimony, and the Whitewater report of Ken Starr was published for anyone to purchase with grand jury testimony included. So clearly, there are exceptions to the general requirement of Rule 6(e) that grand jury information be kept confidential. The Nixon administration challenged Jaworski’s disclosure to Congress, and the courts decided against Nixon in Haldeman v. Sirica, ruling that 6(e) did not apply to disclosure to the Judiciary committee.Further, Rule 6(e) contains an exception for intelligence information; this would justify releasing that information to at least the House and Senate Intelligence Committees as well as Judiciary.So while the whole thing appears likely to end up in court again, there is at the least a fairly strong legal argument (based in part on the Haldeman v. Sirica precedent) that it is legal for the unredacted report to be shared at least with key Congressional committees.

Yes, it is unrealistic.The solutions are obvious but unattainable.Conservatives and Libertarians will tell you that reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government, would reduce the profit to be made by purchasing federal officials. But the only people who could make this change are elected federal officials. How many people in the Washington establishment would actually vote to have less power? I am sure there are a small percentage, but not many.Another proposed solution is is full disclosure. Essentially making the political officials wear stickers like a NASCAR vehicle showing who their sponsors where. Again, see the above solution.A third solution would be that limiting the terms of political hacks could stop them from becoming to well established and powerful. Again see the first solution.The political class in this country see themselves as entitled electec royalty. They are far superior to the average people and are only really interested in people who control two or three coma accounts.
