New York State Living Will Form 2020: Fill & Download for Free

Once again, I find something about this pandemic that is beyond my comprehension. The highest level of per capita virus testing in the world is currently New York State, which is conducting between 50,000 and 70,000 virus tests every single day. Here are the results from today:How anyone — anyone — can look at this chart and convince themselves that “more testing equals a higher rate of positives even though the infection rate is declining” is incomprehensible to me.Even if you started out believing that “because the President said so”, how can anyone with a functioning intellect look at this chart showing decreasing positives with increasing testing…and remain in complete denial of rationality? From what I read, he’s going to be a surprise winner in New York.In fact, they’re very busy right now preparing a grand welcome up there for the Donald and his whole family.And there’s no worries about funding for his precious wall because New York already has some very strong walls built.Unfortunately for him, however, he’ll be on the inside. Even worse, Ivanka will be on the inside of a different wall.Even worse, I do not think the place will be devoid of all illegal immigrants. There might even be some folks in there with darker skin than Agent Orange. And maybe even some Moozlums.JUST KIDDINGI do not actually believe that Trump or anyone in his family will ever go to prison. Once all the charges start stacking up against his kids, I think he’s going to load everyone onto Air Force One, fly to some country where he has a resort property, step onto the tarmac and resign the presidency. Then they’ll all go play golf.What he needs to do is find a country that will grant him asylum and not extradite him to U.S. authorities. I’ve written before on Quora that he might go to his resort in Scotland, but then I got scathing comments from Scottish people who said, NFW!There’s also no freaking way Putin will let that band of stupid losers stay in Russia. A close friendship would make Putin a laughingstock and that won’t happen because he’s a real dictator—not just a poser dictator.Maybe Panama. Yeah, for enough money, he can bribe government authorities in Panama to let them all stay in his high-rise there.I know they stripped his name off his building down there, but I suspect that for a big enough bribe, he might convince them to put his name back on the building.So, I think Panama is the state he can win in 2020.BUT HE’LL ALWAYS HAVE NEW YORKIf he’s not careful and doesn’t line up Panama quickly enough, he’ll end up winning free room and board courtesy of the good citizens of New York state.It’s a weird twist—when you think about it—that only about 10% of New Yorkers voted for their home-town boy, and they can’t stand him—yet I’ll bet that the majority of them would be very happy to pay for room and board for him and his whole family for the rest of their lives.Or at least 10–20 years.So, you see? Trump has a clear path to win New York state. Is that what you had in mind when you asked this question?

It gives them more creative freedom and helps make the characters timeless.Take a look at Daredevil for a second. Daredevil lives not just in New York but in Hell’s Kitchen. A neighborhood in New York that back in the 60s was a poor, working class Irish neighborhood known for it’s crime. This helped ground the character in reality and give him an identity. Daredevil is a working class Irish Catholic who grew up in a bad neighborhood, worked hard to move up in life, but never forgot his roots.The problem is that this is Hell’s Kitchen back in the 60s. In 2020 the neighborhood has been pretty well gentrified. The entire plot of the TV show where a greedy land developer wants to force out all the pensioners from their rent controlled apartments to build condos? That already happened in real life. 10 years ago.The Hell’s Kitchen of the Daredevil comics no longer exists. The character, as portrayed in the comics and the TV series no longer makes sense with reality. He’s a modern character who somehow lives in 60s New York.In comparison Gotham City doesn’t have that problem. Rather than the Batman being a reflection of the city, the city is a reflection of Batman. It can exist in whatever state the story needs it to. With whatever history is needed.It can be an art deco nightmare full of gargoyles and police blimps. It can be a neon lit den of debauchery and sin. It can be Detroit after the car companies left of New York in the middle of the 80s crime wave. Or it can be all of the above at once.It can have been cursed by a dying witch. There can be chemicals in the ground water that spread insanity. Maybe there’s a secret society of lunatics dressed as owls. And there’s no pesky reality to get in the way.
