U.S. perspectiveI am going to disagree with the first two answers.As I explained in Can I Abandon a Copyright?, a copyright can be abandoned (a copyrighted work can be contributed to the public domain) by an overt act that manifests a purpose to surrender the copyright holder’s rights to the work and let the public copy it. Once such an overt act has been taken, it cannot be undone. It’s like transferring title to any form of property to anyone else: You can’t just undo the transaction because you later change your mind.Furthermore, the prior answers have mischaracterized the CC0 waiver. As is stated in the full text[1] of that document, its principal purpose (set forth in Section 2) is to serve as a permanent, irrevocable, unconditional waiver. The license set forth in Section 3 is merely a fallback to the extent that Section 2 does not apply. Furthermore, that license, too, is irrevocable and unconditional.In summary, once you properly dedicate a work to the public domain, it is so contributed forever; you cannot recapture the copyright.Footnotes[1] Creative Commons Legal Code

It will be affected seriously as already the common minimum programme by the new government is to grant full and unconditional waiver of loans to farmers for which all funds meant for development projects will be diverted for farmers. But will the real deserving farmers benefit? That is the real question!

So I agree with the earlier answers from Nichole Ring and Mike Rommel.I think the legal and moral issues with getting married just for immigration purposes when you weren’t otherwise planning to marry are pretty obvious, so I won’t go into great detail especially as they don’t seem to apply here.BUT: even qualifying for my exception doesn’t necessarily change my answer from “no” to yes - it changes it from “no” to “maybe, but you need to consider a couple of other things first.”There are practical issues to consider here even where the marriage isn’t just for immigration and so isn’t illegal/immoral.It may take many months to even get to the interview, during which time the case falls apart if the marriage falls apart (absent abuse by the US citizen being the reason).If all goes well, you get a “conditional” green card valid for two years (because the marriage is less than two years old at the time of approval). Near the end of the two years, you’ll need to file a joint petition to remove the conditions to get a full, unconditional card (there are waivers available if you aren’t still together either because of abuse or simply that the marriage was entered into in good faith and simply didn’t work out - but these are tougher to get approved).The fact that the marriage happened early, and that either or both of you can feel pressured/trapped if the date was moves up from what was otherwise planned, is something you need to discuss and work through. It may also change the power dynamic in the relationship if your status/tuition is dependent on the other person’s sponsorship.Understand how long the marriage would need to be a viable, ongoing marriage AND the impact it may have on your relationship going in.That’s my “holistic” $.02.
