OYO Flagship 22828 Sector 1A Sidcul Haridwar Uttarakhand India, Operated by OYOOYO tried to kill me!!Booking ID PWTN7461Room No. 308Date: 2 Jan 2020Time: 5am to 11amI was looking for hotel in Haridwar as I was traveling thier for business meeting.Chose OYO flagship hotel in sector 1A for morning slot of 5am-11am with breakfast included.That's where everything good ended.Reached location on the map but the location was not correct, tried reaching out to customer care for location. Everytime same response reach out through "in-app" options. Btw, there's no in app option.Somehow, reached customer care and it was of no use. He simply gave number of property manager. Property manager told me to reach "Ravli Mehdood Water Tank". Since my auto dropped me there, I knew that he's clueless.Instead of following his direction I decided to chose to explore and reached hotel somehow.Property manager told me that I will have to pay extra as I doing an early check in. Told him to check booking slot and give me room.By now you must be getting the hint, but this was just a trailer. Entered room and it was smelling like a cowshed, mattress was broken and had springs coming out of it.Tried calling the reception, but there was no phone in the room. Tried calling using my mobile and it was unreachable. After traveling throughout the evening and a hectic langar sewa a day earlier I was left with no energy to alight 4 floors to talk to property manager, as there was no functional lift on premises.Then reality hit me hard that there is no quilt or blanket in the room. Apart from the light AC blanket. Slept covering that blanket and "loi, a type shawl" given by my mom.Room service boy cum sweeper cum chef came to room in the morning, asked him why room didn't had blanket or quilt in January winter in Haridwar, he replied "we give only the blanket provided in room".Now it was time to freshen up, went into the toilet and it looked dirtier than bio toilets of Indian Railways. Went straight to reception and complained about it, he said "all the rooms are occupied, use that only". Asked for breakfast and it wasn't appearing in property manager’s app, but it was there in mine.Called OYO customer service, they said a better room will be provided alongwith breakfast. But, the room service boy asked me to use toilet of another room. I was shocked to the core, but since room occupants had checked out, decided to check. It was filthier than the one in my room. (Breakfast also didn't come)Decided not to use the toilet in hotel, used the one at my meeting location.Electrical fittings were broken, no drinking water, no intercom, filthy toilet, smelly room and a broken bed without blanket, summarises my experience here."Naa aana iss des meri laado"PS: all this took a toll on my health and had to go under medical treatment.*EDIT*Added images*Edit2*Thank you all for the support, answer went viral and I have got many wishes from my Quoran friends.

I was travelling on 16178 Rockfort Express from Trichy to Chennai Egmore, scheduled departure at 22.25hrs from Trichy and scheduled arrival at 05.15hrs.I reached the station at around 22.10hrs, I had already received a message that I have been allotted the Upper Berth in Cabin A. It was HA coach that was half 1A and rest 2A. There were 2 coupes of 4 berths and 1 coupe of 2 berths. I entered the coupe to see that the other 3 berths were already occupied by an elderly gentleman and his wife accompanied by their son.First impression was that the coupe was clean, the berths were really wide and spacious, there was individual reading lights for all the 4 berths, there were 4 bell switches beside each berth to call for the coach attendant, 2 coat hangers was perfectly accommodated beside the door and there was also a staircase to reach the upper berth. I was super excited, but the railfan in me was still not satiated so i went to get a look at loco for the trip. It was an RPM WAP7 and I could not be happier.I returned to my coach to be greeted by the coach attendant. He initially tried to converse with me in Tamil but I informed him that i don't understand Tamil and we continued the conversation in English. He informed me that he had already made my bed and that if i required anything else he was just the push-of-a-bell away. I entered my coupe, the TTE came shortly afterwards who just checked my ID and that's all.On sleeping on the berth I understood that it had ample space compared to a regular berth. The bedding and linen provided was as usual as it is provided in regular A/C coaches. It was extremely comfortable. The next morning I got down at Tambaram. The train was running 45 minutes late but that night was one of the best of all my travels in Indian Railways.
