Location, mostly.That may sound glib, but it’s not. There’s more tech folks and Stanford folks in CA, and an overall sense that Quora is a thing there. In NYC, there’s no such pretension to it being ‘thing”. New York is a very leveling force and no one cares that you’re wearing a Quora Top Writer jacket.For folks that like stuff to “do”there’s more to do in NYC before and after the party. Some folks arrange get-togethers and excursions and the like.But really, it’s mostly location. When you walk out of the MV party, you’re in MV when you walk out of the NYC party, you’re in NYC. ^_^

Uh0h.I rashly promised my husband that I'd go with him to his 40th Yale reunion, and it's that weekend. So I guess I'm going to miss this one. Sorry, guys.Having said that, MY 40th Yale reunion will be in 2017, and if that conflicts with the TW Open House, I'll skip the reunion.***UPDATED***Well, I'm still going to miss it due to a commitment in New Haven, but not just for the reunion. I have been accepted to the Yale Writers Conference, which runs June 3-13! I'm very excited because not only was I accepted to the conference, but I've been admitted to the master class being led by Michael Cunningham, so I'm thrilled. Sorry to miss you guys this time but I'll try and catch you next year in MV, or depending upon the scheduling, maybe even in NYC this fall.

Stray Kids is one of the groups that are openly support the LGBTQ+ community. I’m very proud of them for making their lgbtq fans loved and accepted.Here are some things that proved their support:Stray Kids were seen on the NYC Pride back in 2018. They were in NYC at the same time the Pride was held so they looked around there.Felix’s old friend from Australia said that when other kids made fun of him for being gay, Felix always stood up for him and he could ask for dating advices too.Felix recommended the “Same Love” song’s mv because it warmed his heart and wanted to share it with others as well. ( the mv is about gay marriage )Felix also recommended Weird City’s first episode, said that it was really lovely and he was happy while he watched it. ( gay couple & age difference )( credits to their owners )On a concert a stay wanted to give a pride flag to jisung which he was willing to take but the staff said he can’t.When Felix saw a “Bi Stays Love Felix” table he put his hand on his heart and nodded.During Pride month Chan also talked about coming out, he said that there might be people who won’t accept you and will back off but others will appricate you for who you really are.Both Changbin and Felix wore nike pride shoes edition. Hyunjin also wore a Levis pride shirt.When a fan asked Felix about his ideal type, his response was “boy or girl?” ( there’s even a voice record of it, he said it in english )Hyunjin talked about the song “1-800-273-8255” by Logic. He said it might makes you cry. the mv is about a young boy who finds it hard to accept his sexuality.Hyunjin also read the book “Harmless Person to you” and theres a lesbian couple in it.Chan congratulated to a lesbian couple for getting married.Chan pointed at a pride flag and smiled.On a video call event a stay told chan about her girlfriend and mentioned that they met because of stray kids. Chan’s smile was so bright and said “Because of us? I’m so happy.”small things but still appricated:When Chan talked about periods in one of his lives he used “people who are on that day” instead of “women”.Jeongin said that his favorite color is pink and both colors and clothes are genderless.Chan played the song “Sweater Weather” in his live which is known to be a song for bisexuals.Felix said that he likes the colors pink, purple, and blue.( felix’s keyboard )when felix saw a sign that said “lesbians love jisung” he laughed.Sam smith is one of Felix’s favorite artists, and they’re non binary.Minho wore safety pin for multiple times which shows if someone is an ally to ethnic minorities.Felix saying that he gets inspired by women models too and he thinks he should wear clothes that suit him the best regardless of gender.( this is not related to the lgbtq community but i wanted to add since i think it’s important to not to care about gender stereotypes )and lastly a pic that could bring a lots of comfort :)Edit: i’ve read all of the comments and they made me so happy. im glad that it made some of you smile too because that was my purpose!
