Thanks for the A2A!I've listed musical genres according to what I've observed to be the general correlating intellectual level of their listeners. This answer might piss a few people off, but realize that it's not my opinion; it's merely my personal observations with the few dozen people I've met in my years on earth. This doesn't mean that everyone who listens to "X" is of a certain intellectual level. (In fact, I've learned that more intelligent people typically aren't confined to any specific genre.) And my personal experience represents approximately 0.0000000001% of the human population. So if you choose to be offended, no problem, but I like a lot of the genres that are in the lower part of this list as well as many near the top and throughout.I'm looking at this from a completely scientific perspective based on actual experiential data. Don't get your panties in a bunch if you happen to love what I've listed near the end. Maybe that genre has been poorly represented by the people I've known who listen to it. Everyone has their own opinions and reasons for liking whatever they do; regardless of intellect.
