What is your favorite place you have visited in the world?

Last vacation when I was looking for a place to spend holidays with friends, I discovered this amazing place with the help of Google. On that trip, we had visited a lot of places in Manzanita Oregon and stayed in the hospitable Oregon Beach Vacations. The service of Manzanita Rentals was so good that I always recommend my dear ones to stay at Manzanita Beach Rentals when they are traveling Manzanita for vacation. This place is not only affordable but also provide facilities which many of the top-rated hotels cannot offer. During our stay, we also tested different kinds of local foods on the Manzanita Restaurants which was also a pleasurable experience for all of us. Anyway, if anybody visit Manzanita Oregon for vacation I will definitely recommend them to stay Coast Cabins Manzanita and to taste foods on Manzanita Restaurants.Highly recommended.

How might events have played out in Red Dead Redemption 2 if Arthur Morgan had never contracted tuberculosis?

Arthur was in flux regarding Dutch and the gang and may have pursued the path he chooses regardless of dying. I believe that Dutch’s path was already set to destructive and further being influenced by Micah would have doomed the gang inevitably. So in taking this into effect. I believe the following things (if you had played Arthur as ‘good’):Arthur would have broken with Dutch about the same time. The combination of him leaving Arthur to die compounded with him leaving John and his unwillingness to comply and let the women and children go on Arthur’s insistence was the final straw for the gang. Arthur knew Dutch was too far gone by then and Dutch of course viewed him as a traitor in part thanks to Micah. Micah also killing Susan Grimshaw further would have fractured anything resembling a resolution of peace for Arthur considered Susan a friend.Micah’s fate was sealed regardless of intervention from Dutch or not. Arthur had strong compunction and already loathed Micah, him out and killing Susan in front of him would have fueled Arthur’s ‘noble’ side to leave women and children alone (and help them where he could) and Micah would be a walking corpse. The issue is time.If John and Arthur made for the hills to escape, I believe either both would have escaped together with Arthur not staying behind to prevent people trailing them or John would prevented Dutch from interfering with Arthur and Micah fighting. Arthur was already stronger than Micah and in his healthy form would have killed him wholeheartedly there for killing Susan in front of him. Also, Dutch would probably have not survived as well since he had already abandoned both of them…so kill him and let the Pinkertons find both of them.If they did not kill them there and both escaped, Arthur either would have followed John to farm for a bit or I think would have hooked up with Sadie to bounty hunt. I lean toward the bounty hunting more because he had experience with Sadie in heated gunfire and both trusted one another enough to be partners. Charles may have even joined them rather than underground fighting because of his friendship with Arthur.John meeting up with Sadie later would have had 4 friends working together to find Micah/Dutch. Charles would have been wounded but I believe Sadie would have not if both John and Arthur were there at the same time. The confrontation between the three more than likely would have ended with both Micah and Dutch dead or both captured and hung for their crimes and the loot being split 4 ways instead of 3.After this, Arthur may have settled with the Marston’s to teach them farming and possibly build a small spread on the Marston farm for himself. Or he may have continued on with Sadie as bounty hunters. Charles would have left as he did.Long odds, Sadie and Arthur may have hooked up as well….Arthur’s love life was contentious thanks to outside family members (former wife’s father) in his past so Sadie being alone and as tough as Arthur may have made them a couple. Possibly retire from bounty hunting and help purchase more land with the Marston’s and establish a cattle business on the plains outside of Blackwater. (M&M cattle ranch).Cattle Ranching would be a natural choice here as while there are already a few spreads up north, none could service as well as an established ranch here in that 1) Blackwater has both a train AND port to move cattle to other points of destination both along the track and other cities and were built for that purpose…coming in from the North side of the town would allow for easier transport of steer. 2) Save for the valley which contained MacFarlane’s Cattle Ranch on the other side of Manzanita Post, there is no real competition of which bounderies can be established to avoid cattle wars (heck use the Lower Montana river as the natural boundary) plus MacFarlane was a fair and honest man and would recognize the sand in Arthur the same way he recognized it in John in the first RDR. 3) It’s a perfect place for cattle….good wild rolling fields with natural grass, water from several areas both lowland and high and ambient temperate weather. 2 years of good breeding could raise some serious beef if their herd was good and they planned accordingly. 4) Arthur & John (and possibly Sadie) are experienced gun fighters and can deal with thieves and like minded individuals. Their past with the wrong side of the law would allow them to recognize darker intentions in both business and friendship and would make them canny individuals that are dangerous enough to make others avoid them for easier pickings. If this was the case, enough money could have been made to establish both the Marston’s and the Morgan’s to successfully purchase their way into polite society through Blackwater and other business ventures and expunge their past transgressions with the Pinkerton's/Bureau of Investigation through political influence. Other arguments could be made that with Micah and Dutch captured/killed by Sadie/Arthur/John/Charles that it could be used as weight to clear their names.Thereby the events of Red Dead Redemption would probably not have occurred as they did as John would not have been forced to pursue Javier or Bill (or may have been asked to bring them both in through Sadie and Arthur through bounty hunting). Bill would have more than likely been killed when first contacted by John with his backup and Javier Escuella may not have had to flee to Mexico because he would not be freeing Bill Williamson.Anyway, this is how I picture a lot of it. It really depended on a few leaps but considering the way of Arthur and John’s tendencies and past reflection on their choices, this could have been a way it worked. Couple it with that large influx of cash, John wanting to do ranching and farming and Arthur’s experience with doing it, I think it is in the realm of possibility that this road could have been taken if Arthur did not have TB.

What are the best vacation places within driving distance of Portland, OR?

It’s taken me a while to compile this answer, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest has a beautiful bounty of places to see within driving distance. I’ll list these in order of closest to furthest from Portland.Hood River, OR (1 hr 10 min)Take I-84 east. If you want a scenic drive get off at exit 22 at Corbett Hill Rd. Take this winding road all the way to the Vista House. Park your car and take in the view of the opening of the Gorge. When you get back in your car continue on the historic route towards Multnomah falls. Along this route you’ll come across LaTourrel Falls, Wahkeena Falls, and the magnificent Multnomah falls. Continue on your road and connect back with I-84 east and drive until Hood River. You can find many different lodgings and campgrounds in Hood River. There’s a nice collection of craft breweries including: Double Mountain, pFriem, and Full Sail. There’s also a collection of wineries and other nice restaurants. A quaint little downtown area with cute shops and antiques. If staying for a weekend, head across the Bridge of the Gods (there’s a small toll) and stop at Everybody’s Brewing in White Salmon. Go to the Skamania Loge for a round of golf on their beautiful grounds. There’s also a lovely zipline through the trees, plenty of hiking, fishing, kitesurfing, and boating adventures await.2. McMinnville, OR (1hr 10 min)If wineries are your thing, you’re in luck, Oregon is home to some of the best wine in the country. Considered the Napa of the north, the Willamette Valley is home to 250 wineries. McMinnville happens to host 34 of them, all in one little down to earth town where grapevines are the main crop. You guys, this place is dreamy. Come in the early fall when the leaves are just starting to turn yellow or late spring (May is wine month in Oregon). The landscapes are gorgeous enough to make you say “I want to retire here”. Downtown McMinnville is a cute little quaint town. There’s a number of boutique hotels and artisanal cheese/wine shops popping up for your pleasure. If you get tired of drinking wine there’s hot air balloon tours over the vineyards, a wonderful aviation and space museum, 5-star award-winning restaurants, wonderful art galleries, and dozens of nature parks that dapple the town for you to take a long walk or just relax while feeling away from the city.3. Astoria, Oregon (1 hr 45 min) and then south to Gearhart, Cannon Beach, Manzanita and Pacific City.I love Astoria. It’s where the Columbia River meets with the Pacific Ocean. This river junction town is the oldest settlement west of the rockies and was originally a trading post for the successful fur trader John Astor. It is home to beautiful Victorian homes, the filming of the Goonies and Free Willy, and the longest 3-truss bridge in the world (See above). You’ll find the best Fish and Chips in Oregon here in Astoria at the Bowpicker. Climb up the Astoria Column for breathtaking 360 views of the entire city. You’ll also get to see where it is that the Columbia dumps into the ocean, one of the most dangerous river bar crossings in the U.S. where waves can sometimes reach 40 ft. It is because of these dangers that Astoria is also the graveyard for many shipwrecks. One of which you can explore at low tide; The Peter Iredale. This town feels like a weathered sleepy coastal town. The houses are weathered from the windy river delta, the pubs and restaurants are cozy and homey, the locals are kind and warm. This place reminds me of a Massachusetts fishing town. I recommend staying for a night before taking Hwy-101 down to the other beautiful Northern Oregon coastal towns: Gearhart, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, and Pacific City.Gearhart: flat sandy beaches and sweeping rolling grassy hills continue for miles in this small vacation town. There’s not much else to do here except for park your car on the beach, grab a blanket and sit on the the sand to take in the sunset. This beach is not crowded, ever, and is little known to a lot of Oregonians. Get a stamp on your McMenamins passport and then move along south towards Cannon Beach.Cannon Beach: the definition of a sleepy beach cottage town. Dozens of shops, restaurants, bakeries, candy stores, and coffee line the little streets of Cannon Beach. Parking is free and the food is all great. Stop in a candy shop for some local saltwater taffy or a scoop of fresh Tillamook Ice Cream. Walk down to the beach and take in the beauty that is the massive haystack on the water. This place gets crowded in the summer so be sure to book a hotel or air bnb far in advance.Manzanita: a smaller quieter version of Cannon Beach. Rolling grassy hills lead you from the street to the beautiful beach that is flanked by a mountain on the right and a long sandy beach on the left.Pacific City: another 30 min south of Manzanita and you’re in Pacific City. Visit the Pelican Brewery for some great craft beer and food, drive your car onto the beach in the early morning and watch fisherman launch their boats for a daily catch, climb the gigantic sand dune to catch a better look at the haystack in the middle of the coast line. This place is gorgeous.4. Eugene, OR (2 hrs 10 min)It’s fall in Oregon, and that means college football is in full swing. Drive down to Eugene on a game weekend, if you’re lucky enough to score tickets on a UO v. OSU game, take them. A longstanding rivalry is entertaining to watch even for the most impartial football fans. The tailgates are magnificent and the city is a flurry (particularly if UO wins). I suggest getting an Air BNB in the old historic part of town where plenty of shops, breweries and restaurants are dappled. You could also easily do a day trip from Portland, just don’t party too hard with the proud locals.5. Seattle, WA (3hrs)Take I-5 North for 3 hours and you won’t miss Seattle. My second favorite city on the West Coast (after Portland, DUH). The Space Needle, birthplace of grunge music, Puget Sound, and hundreds of other attractions make Seattle a great place to go for a long weekend and you won’t even see the whole tip of the ice-burg. Much like Portland, Seattle is full of pockets of neighborhoods that are each unique and have their own vibe. The downtown financial district, the downtown historic district, Pike Place, the harbor, Fremont, Queen Anne, Belltown, Capitol Hill, and a lot more. There’s coffee galore, great craft beer, a wonderful arts scene, hiking, fishing, take the ferry to Bainbridge Island, do a culinary tour, wear a flannel and be overtly casual everywhere you go as you meet the friendliest people. I’ve also read somewhere that the Seattle English is the most easily understood English around the world. And yes, people do actually live in floating homes like Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle.6. Bend, OR (3.5 hrs)Is the rain getting you down? Head east past Mount Hood and you’ll reach a high desert oasis that stays sunnier throughout the year. Bend, OR is home to Smith Rock State Park, a hiking and rock climbing mecca for Oregonians. If skiing is your thing, the winter months are a great time to visit the sunny slopes of Mount Bachelor. With only 80,000 residents and 22 breweries, Bend has the largest concentration of breweries per capita. You could spend a whole day walking from brewery to brewery and fulfilling your Bend Ale Trail passport. There’s also some great food and coffee shops throughout the small town.Be sure to check out Bend Brewing Company on a warm day and take your beer and pretzel to the adirondack chairs and watch the Deschutes river roll by. If you feel like seeing some cool nature shit, check out the Painted Hills at the John Day Fossil Beds. These are about 2 hours NE of Bend.7. Crater Lake, OR (4hrs 50min)Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States. It was formed almost 8,000 years ago when the volcano Mount Mazama erupted/collapsed leaving its deep crater behind. The lake is fed by the rain and snow that falls on the mountain. There’s never really a perfect time to go to Crater Lake; there’s a very small window in the summer where all the snow has melted and you could actually get hot enough to take off your jacket, but this also brings a large amount of crowds and no vacancy at camp sites. The winter months are also testy as often the road to the lake is closed from heavy snowfall and low maintenance. I would suggest the best time to go would be in the fall (September-November). I went in November of 2017 and there was about 6ft of snow on the mountain and it took a 4 wheel drive car and 2 hours to reach the lake. The lodge was closed and there was no camping allowed due to the harsh cold. Instead, we stayed at the Weasku Inn in Grant’s Pass. The inn provided us with our own little cabin on the river. It was actually rather luxurious and cozy. I would definitely recommend. Grant’s Pass itself is at the foot of Mount Mazama and is a quaint little town full of antique shops and wine bars. Not to mention In N’ Out! *DROOL*I’m sure there are quite a few spots I’m missing but if you’re here for a few days, I don’t suggest driving more than 4–5 hours. These places cover the most ground and get you the most instagram-worthy photos. I did not mention the Wallowas because, alas, I have not been able to visit yet :(Cheers!photo credit: google imagesEdit:Here’s a lovely video of Oregon’s beauty:
