Happens all the time. I know for a fact. My husband is an inmate in a state prison. He had a ruptured disc crushing a nerve in his back. Took over 6 months. The prison clinic said nothing was wrong. He was faking. I had to spend every day for 6 months on the phone. Writing letters, etc.The prison doctor, who is a nurse practitioner and thinks she's a doctor, read the X-ray. When he finally got an MRI, she was also the one to read it. They don’t have a doctor at the facility. Eventually, I got him help. But if he had not had a wife on the outside, he would not have gotten help.They finally took him off site to a neurosurgeon who did surgery. Then, this same “doctor” said he only needed four sessions with physical therapy even though the neurosurgeon said otherwise. Now he has an open wound the size of a half dollar. It is a pilondial cyst he has had all his life. It has taken months of this so called doctor putting bandaids over this open wound to get them to make an appointment for him.People who have no one to fight for them languish and die all the time and when they do, they just say they refused to follow treatment plans. And you can't prove otherwise. Fact.

My son was my best friend. He passed away from a five year battle with brain cancer. We were more than mom and son. We were buddies. Watching him fight and knowing there was nothing I could do was so heartbreaking. I was there when he came into the world and due to the grace of hospice I was allowed to hold him in my arms as he left this world. He was warm but as he left this world he grew cold. But it was our time. After his death I felt so alone. He died on September 24.2003 at 7pm. I was at my computer checking my email. It was on Halloween. He always loved Halloween. I saw an email from him. It was a shock and quite unnerving. He had written the following poem to me for this friend to send to me on Halloween after he had passed on. The quality’s kind of grainy because this was taken sometime in December 1996.Blonde hair, six-years-old, ready to live, beauty pageant girl- probably would’ve been the next Lindsy Lohan or Stormy Daniels.JonBenét Patricia Ramsey was born on August 6, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, to John and Patricia “Patsy” Ramsey. Burke, her older brother was 3 years older.On December 25, 1996, 6-year-old JonBenét had been reported missing. Patsy Ramsey had discovered her daughter went missing when she encountered a long ransom note on her kitchen counter.This is where the investigation started.The first thing found odd about the ransom note- aside from its unusual lengthiness- was that it asked for exactly $118,000. Why would the writer have asked for that specific amount? Why not $100,000 or $120,000? It was also an odd number because that happened to be the exact amount of Mr. Ramsey’s bonus from Access Global from the past Christmas.Authorities also believed that the note was staged. The note was unusually long, the paper and pen came from inside the Ramsey house, and there were no other fingerprints on it besides those of the police and Patsy.Patsy Ramsey was immediately a suspect. However, further handwriting analysis by six handwriting experts proved it not to be her handwriting.The ransom note contained strict instruction to not contact police, family, or friends. However, Patsy did just that. At 5:52 a.m, she called the police and they were at the door within three minutes. The only people known to be in the house that night were JonBenét’s immediate family. The two officers who responded to Patsy Ramsey’s call searched the premises but found no sign of forced entry.One officer who went down the basement to look for a possible entry/leave point for the kidnapper came across a wooden door. He made the terrible mistake of skipping it for the sole reason of it locking from the inside, which meant he wouldn’t have been able to get in the house using that door. It was a mistake because that’s where JonBenét’s body laid.Her father found her body with a garrote around her neck the next day on December 26, 1996. The official cause of death was asphyxiation.JonBenét Ramsey would have been 29 today. Her death was ruled a homicide.동
