Read them very closely. Marvel at the skill and creativity with which the copy editors introduce subtle spelling, grammatical, notational, and typographical errors. Correct them.Wait for the final published version of the manuscript to appear, either on the publisher’s web site as a PDF file, or at your library as ink-stained cellulose.Celebrate!

I was working as a freelance writer, but I was about to sign a contract to work as an account manager for public relations company.For three days, I went and stood in front of that apartment building. The apartment that I wanted was on the first floor right, facing the street. So I would stand there, imagining myself cooking in the kitchen, sleeping in the Murphy bed, folding it up in the morning, and sitting at my desk writing.In the evening I would go into my sacred space to meditate and I would practice creative visualization techniques I was learning from a mystical organization— The Rosicrucian Order, AMORC.When the owner called me a few days later, I was so excited. “I wish I had two apartments,” she said. “but I have to give it to the woman who has the full-time job.” I thanked her and released the thoughts I had about moving into the apartment. I simply began to mentally prepare for a new visualization adventure.I decided that I needed to give myself a break, so I went off on a spiritual retreat. Less than a week later, the owner of the apartment called me. "Are you still looking for a place?" she said. “Yes!” I answered with excitement. “ The tenant says that she is allergic to something in the apartment and she can't live there.
