Trespass Notice Example: Fill & Download for Free

I’ve seen a lot of angry customers over the years. The question really isn’t how angry a person gets, but how violent/hostile they get in the process. My experience has been that violence was usually limited to the occasional person who felt entitled to throw his/her entire order at an employee/manager because of something ridiculous. For example, one lady got pissy because we “let” someone cut in front of her in drive-thru. Just for kicks, she claimed that her fresh-from-the-vat fries were cold. I boxed those myself. We made her a new box. Somewhere in the course of things, she threw her entire bag at the unsuspecting, extremely sweet-mannered manager. I saw her a couple years later at my next job and, recognizing me, she had the audacity to brag about her behavior…I very calmly told her that her response was highly inappropriate, then explained to her the nature of people cutting in line—which is that we don’t actually have a choice in the matter. You can tell the customer to go around and wait in line and s/he will very likely pitch a fit and refuse to move, further backing up drive-thru times, until you deal with him/her at the window. On the other hand, s/he may come inside or just leave. It’s unlikely that s/he will simply apologize and wait in line. In any of these instances, s/he will likely complain to the manager, then complain to the owner and/or corporate, who will then rip the manager. After all this, s/he will likely still tell all of that county how horrible we are and how horrible our customer service is, severely impacting our sales and, quite possibly, getting someone fired for being “rude.” For all of that, the person behind them (this lady) would still have had to wait. By simply dealing with the person who cut in line, we were able to get to her sooner. She was semi-apologetic after this and I didn’t see her again, nor did I hear anything from the management.There was one customer at the first job listed above who tried to come behind the counter and physically attack a coworker. He may or may not have been drunk; but, he got physically thrown out by a manager and one of my bigger coworkers, after which he was told to leave or the police would be called. He left.At the same job, there was a customer that I put on trespass notice for sexual harassment/stalking. He pitched an unholy hissy fit, ripped the manager at the next window, and scared that guy half to death. I refused to budge and the trespass notice stood. As I told probably the whole restaurant in the course of that week (part of securing the trespass notice), he wasn’t just some random guy in drive-thru that I just randomly decided to go off on. He had sexually harassed me for 2 1/2 years in high school, 6 years before this. I had had nightmares/flashbacks about him for 4 years. Knowing all this, he came through, entirely by accident, with the same attitude toward me. After the first time, I messaged him online and asked/told him not to come near me again. The second time, he came through with friends, likely figuring that I wouldn’t say anything in front of them. That was the day I put him on trespass notice. He was angrier than I had ever seen him; but, I didn’t see him at work again.

What should you do you ask? An abusive, uninvited man comes to your home each weekend and abused your animals and shows you no respect!? I suggest you learn to set some boundaries. Prioritize what is important to you. Protect your animals!!! Respect yourself and your own home!First I suggest calling him, stating the issue specifically, explaining with confidence how his behavior is unacceptable and abusive. Then set the boundaries. Tell him he is not welcome at your home and tell him NOT to come back over. Tell him this is a verbal trespassing notice. Record the call. If he shows back up after this call:LOCK Your doors all the time, so cannot come in unexpectedly.While at the locked door, Instruct him to leave your property immediately, remind him of the boundary you had set and the verbal trespass warning. Inform him you are calling the police if he does not immediately leave your property. Film him and his reaction and behavior during this encounter.FOLLOW THROUGH! Hold your boundaries. Call the police. Do not let that man back in your home! Your are setting an example for others living in your home. Please remember that. Your animals are being abused. If your aren’t willing to protect them and stand up for them, you need to rehome them to a safe place.good luck. Stand up for yourself here!

I just checked the internet, and on the website for the Court Clerk of my county, there is a link to the instructions on how to do it. Example; Jackson County Court Clerk of (state). I filed one before and they were helpful.
