This answer might be skewed towards Amazon India (I am not too sure if it provides the same kind of service in other countries as well).So, I had exhausted my mini library and was book hunting. I narrowed down to a few books and decided to order them from Amazon India.This is a screen shot of my order confirmation page.Notice, they provided with a kindle ebook link for my purchased book. I had ordered three of them; and was provided with an ebook link for all of the three. I ordered special glasses from a science site about a month ago, received order confirmation and everything.3 weeks later I got word that my order had been cancelled. It took a bit of investigating to determine why. BECAUSE THEY FUCKING RAN OUT OF STOCK! How much science does it take to determine that the day I ordered???So I went over to Amazon, sorry I hadn't done that to begin with, as my Prime membership could get me the shit within 2 days.There were a million options over there, some offered 2 Day Prime, some not, all cheap. Of course I chose one of the Prime options. Order confirmed.The next day, when I checked my order, I discovered the glasses weren't due to arrive until AFTER the eclipse, though there'd been a 2 day promise. So I cancelled that order.When I went back to Amazon, I found that within a day, EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF ECLIPSE GLASSES HAD SHOT UP FROM A FEW DOLLARS TO A FEW HUNDRED!With fury in my heart, I decided to spring for a pair, anyway, so spent the next couple of hours purchasing and canceling every damn 2 Day Prime option of eclipse glasses on the damn site, as each promised I'd receive them on time, but on closer inspection I found that none would get to me until after the eclipse.So blah blah blah, fuck you, Science site, fuck you, Amazon, and double fuck you, Eclipse!Later: By now I've heard some fabulous tales of viewing, from all over the country, but I've been having my own fun being the Eclipse Grump.
