Yes - at my divorce hearing from my second wife(Yes, I have been married and divorced three times. Wife #1 and I divorced primarily over her gambling addiction and Wife #3 and I divorced after less than a year of marriage amicably because we realized we both had made a mistake. We have remained friends since our divorce)I sued my second wife (we will call her “Mary” though it is not her actual name) for divorce because of infidelity. I was able to determine and prove that Mary was continuing to have sexual relations during our brief marriage with the woman who had been her lover before we had met (she eventually married her girlfriend after our divorce when Massachusetts allowed for same-sex marriages). I was able to present a witness who testified that Mary had told her that she married me as a “beard” to improve her promotion opportunities at her company.When we were in court before the judge, the judge, a Black woman, informed us that she was granting the divorce but she was not granting Mary the life-time alimony that Mary had requested. The judge also said that not only was she not granting Mary any alimony, since Mary made substantially more money than I did, she had considered having Mary pay me alimony.Mary lost it, yelled at the judge that she wanted to kill the judge and me because since the judge was a woman, she should have taken her side and made me pay alimony. The judge, in no uncertain and quite colorful language, threw Mary in jail for 30 days for contempt and issued court orders of protection that Mary could not come within 100 yards of either the judge or me or she would end up back in jail.I have not seen or heard from Mary in over 25 years - good riddance.

Why yes, there are other reasons:His personal morality (womanizing, stiffing contractors)His prejudices.His constant lying.His profound ignorance of government and history.His constant bragging.His lack of genuine empathy.His insulting of those who disagree with him.His unwillingness to reveal his financial dealings.His long string of broken promises.His continual mind-changing, making deals impossible.His continual defensiveness.His habit of blaming others for his mistakes.His belief that he is the law and above others.His contempt for those who he considers losers.His tacit support for white supremacists.His belief that his genes make him a superior human being.These facts make your classmates immune to the notion that Trump is awesome.

Well I consider myself to be a “good, well-meaning” person. I am also a gun owner and gun rights advocate who supports the Second Amendment.I support the NRA and similar groups because I wish to protect my rights and property against gun control activists.As a gun owner, I do not want firearms that I may own to be banned based on the fears of someone who knows nothing about guns. Ban assault weapons, buy them back, go after resisters: Ex-prosecutor in CongressI do not want to get a license to exercise a constitutionally recognized right. I looked for a state that’s taking gun violence seriously. I found Massachusetts.I do not want to be put on a list simply for owning a gun. Newspaper sparks outrage for publishing names, addresses of gun permit holdersI do not want to be limited to some arbitrarily decided number of bullets I may have in my firearm. Banning High-Capacity Magazines Should Absolutely Be A Winnable IssueThese propositions and many more are typically pushed forward by people who know nothing about firearms. Even worse, a great number of these people hold contempt for both firearms and those who own them.I do not “accept” the views of the NRA. Rather, the NRA as an organization has veiws that happen to be similar to my own. Albeit a little less hardcore.
