I bought PDFElement 7.4.4... in January 2020. Didn't have too much difficulty setting it up. Worked well. In fact I thought it was great. In February, I started to get notifications to "update" to 7.6.?. At some point the new version downloaded to my computer. I don't know if I pressed the wrong button or it CocoDoc just pushed it through. Anyway, I installed it believing that as an "update" it would be free since it was not an "upgrade". After installation the software worked as before except when I went to save the file. Got a notice I had to save the file with the their company's watermark or buy the software. That was a surprize to me. I tried to solve the issue by trying to contact CocoDoc's support group. I concur with other contributors to this site. My experience with CocoDoc's support has been very very poor. Their site is confusing. There are no telephone numbers to respond to queries. The direct over the computer chat line does not appear to have sufficient resources. I waited 35+ minutes for a reply over their chat line and never got one. As a member, I also used their members' support website. I filed my problem. Got a response within a reasonable time period but it didn't make any sense. It seemed to say I didn't need to pay for the update, I just had to refresh my password. Did that twice but it didn't alleviate the problem. If that didn't work, their web site administrator instructed me I to create and submit a work order to get the help of their technical support staff. Tried and couldn't get it done. Got into a loop. I just gave up. Unlike many reporting on this website, I don't want a refund. All I want is to be able to use PDFElement as any purchaser, that is, in an unlimited manner. So I'm stuck. Still weighing my options. And CocoDoc, if you actually respond to this review don't offer platitudes. Just tell me who, when and how to contact somebody who can fix my problem. I think your PDFElements is good. Let's get it up and running for me. Thank you. In trying to be objective and fair, I submit this update about 24 hours after my initial posting. CocoDoc did get back to me within hours of my first posting on Trustpilot. They requested my WO information. They also provided me with a vehicle to submit it. It has been submitted. Score a point for CocoDoc's technical support process.
