PDF Editor FAQ

Were you able to prove to CPS (Child Protective Services) that claims made against you were made up by someone trying to get revenge & CPS believed you? Was anything done about it other than closing your case?

Oh yes, we were living in Arizona Who’s Child Protective Services would come at you with everything they had on just the most minor of complaints/allegations. So we get a notice we were being investigated for “Over Medicating” our youngest son. He was in 9yo and in 3rd grade at the time and had Sever ADHD, diagnosed by mental health and Medical professionals, so he was on a strict medication regimen that we followed so he cold function normally. So we figured the “anonymous” Complaintant (they never reveal who is accusing you giving you a chance to face your accuser, loading the system in favor of those who would make accusations just to fuck with somebody), was either h is teacher, or teh school nurse. So we sent him to school OFF of his meds. They were calling by noon in tears, begging us, begging for us to come and bring his meds. You see, when he gets going, he gets all the other kids going as well, and he turned the class into a zoo (probably with even more poop getting tossed about). So my wife and I go down to the school and meet with the principal, his teacher and the school Nurse. Imagine the looks on their faces when we told them that until the case was cleared by CPS based on the allegations, we could not send him to school medicated, and if they tries Segregating, Punishing, suspending, or expelling him for behavior that is not his fault, we were going to sue them into oblivion. We contacted the Prescribing physician who hit the roof, and told us to call him when we meet with CPS. So the day comes and the CPS Worker arrives. I ask for her card, and pull out a mini tape recorder and advise her the conversation will be recorded. She tells us we don’t have permission to record her. So I told her it was either recorded for both our sakes, or we will meet with her at a later date with our attorney. She tries to strong-arm us, and I advise her I will not only sue CPS, but her personally, hence my collecting her card. Finally she relents, and I advise here there is someone who wants to speak to her, and I call the Doctor and put him on speaker phone. He proceeds to shred her, asking her where she got her license tp practice medicine from, and who is she and the state to interfere with a child’s treatment regimen. She was clearly sweating Under the verbal onslaught, and I told her that whoever filed the complaint she has to thank.Meanwhile every day we send him to school with no meds. They try telling us they have requested a dismissal, and we stick to our guns, no release by CPS, no meds. 3 weeks later we get a notice of “Claims found to be unsubstantiated” and a letter of Apology for wasting our, and our Son’s Physicians time. Funny thing, about that time the School nurse was transferred to another school across the state in BFE.

Did Japan truly own up to its wartime crimes?

In 2015, in a controversial move, Kyushu University opened a new museum on its campus, detailing how eight US POWs were taken to the school's medical training facilities after the airmen were captured. It reveals that they were dissected while aliveWhat happened at the University medical school would have been lost to history except for Todoshi Tono, one of the doctors who helped perform those experiments. He later wrote a book about fatal operations, much against the wishes of his colleagues, who wanted no such records of their crimes after the war ended."It's because the prisoners thought that we were doctors, since they could see the white smocks, that they didn't struggle. They never dreamed they would be dissected," said Dr. Tono.It was May 5, 1945. Captain Marvin Watkins had taken off from Guam and was piloting a B 29 to bomb an airfield at Fukuoka, in southern Japan, when the Super Fortress was rammed by a Japanese fighter piloted by a 19 year old Kinzou Kasuya. All the crew managed to bailout, but one fighter flew through an airman’s parachute, plummeting this flyer to his death. Another crewmember landed, witnessing the villagers approaching with knives and club. He began firing his pistol for defense, using one round on himself. Another died at the landing site from being repeatedly stabbed. Captain Watkins was taken for investigations, and would be the only one to survive the war. The rest were taken to the University, many suffering from knife wounds and would all eventual die during horrific vivisection experiments.Dr. Tono told the Baltimore Sun that US flyer Teddy Ponczka had been stabbed by the locals and now presumed he would be medically treated. Instead the doctors and medical staff removed one of his lungs to see what effect surgery would have on his respiratory system, before injecting him with salt water, another test to about dehydration. After the prisoners died, their bodies were preserved in formaldehyde.Twenty-three American service men would be fatally experimented on. Evidence against 30 university doctors and staffs who performed the experiments, would be heard before the Allied War Crime Tribunal in 1948. All body parts by this time had been disposed of.In total 23 people were found guilty of vivisection – dissecting and performing surgery on a living thing – and five were sentenced to death.Gen. Mac Arthur as Military Governor of Japan commuted all death sentences, and released all the perpetrators.Very few in Japan know of the horrors and punishment the Japanese inflicted on POWs during WW2. Instead the focus is on the use of the Atom bombs and their effects. For Kyushu University to mention the medical wrong doings, it is truly a bold step, one that most don’t know about, and others want to forget.

I'm 15 and FTM. How can I convince my dad to let me get bottom surgery next summer?

Bottom surgery is a big deal. As I sit in my second week of recovery waiting to be medically released to travel so I can go home, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on just how big a deal this has been and will continue to be over the next several months.I’m not going to tell you that at 15 you’re too young. I will tell you that there’s a singular path to bottom surgery and it involves the WPATH standards of care. Completely table, for a moment, convincing your dad. Have you lived for a full year presenting as your new gender? It’s required that you do so before you can have surgery. Have you been on hormone replacement therapy for a year? Also required. You’ll need two letters of support from licensed mental health professionals indicating that you are ready for bottom surgery. Do you have a relationship with at least one therapist who would provide your first letter? If the answer to any of those questions is ‘no’ then you should start there. Until you have the requirements out of the way, there’s not much point in pushing the issue with your parents. When you’re ready to have the conversation with your parents, that mental health professional who’s writing your first letter of support should be a fantastic resource for helping you figure out how to have that conversation.Once your ducks are in a row, you’ll need to find a surgeon and get on a waiting list. Depending on the surgeon you choose, those waiting lists can take a while. I was on a waiting list for 16 months between the day my surgeon put my name on the list and the day I had surgery. I’ve had friends spend even longer waiting for their surgery date. This isn’t a process that it’s easy to rush. Start with the mental health professionals, your therapist can be a fantastic resource for helping to figure out the rest. There’s some good advice from a few of the surgeons doing bottom surgery who are themselves transgender suggesting that the optimal time to do bottom surgery is in the last year of high school, to give you time to adjust before you head off to college. I happen to think it’s good advice.Note: For transgender men, top surgery is frequently easier to obtain than bottom surgery, and the Standards of Care recognize that it may be recommendable at a slightly younger age than bottom surgery. As you consider your path through transition, ask yourself if this is the most important ‘next step’ or if something more approachable makes more sense. No one can tell you what will help the most with your dysphoria but you and ultimately, you’re the one who will be making the decision. Just take your time on this one because I’m not joking… bottom surgery is a big deal.
