As for the Democrats, they haven’t forgiven her for snubbing Hillary Clinton and campaigning for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 primary. The chair of the DNC sent a letter to Gabbard warning her that Hillary would become the nominee and that Gabbard’s political career would be over if she didn’t support Clinton. This threat was given almost a year before the primary convention. Many establishment Democrats haven’t gotten over the loss to Donald Trump, and they want to blame someone other themselves: Russians!!!!!, Gabbard, Jill Stein, Bernie Bros, and so on.As for non-affiliated voters, of which I am one, many of us left the Democratic party over the way the DNC rigged the primary for Clinton. Call us Bernie Bros all you want, but in truth, many of us believe Tulsi Gabbard would be the best choice.As for Republicans, I am astonished to see how much support Tulsi gets. My son, a college graduate entering a Top 14 law school, and an avid Trump supporter (face palm), would vote for Tulsi over Trump. After hours and hours of discussion with him on this topic, I’ve concluded that his support for Tulsi has more to do with her foreign policy positions than anything else. I’ve seen all of Tucker Carlson’s interviews with Tulsi, and it’s clear that he would vote for her. And many of the Republicans I debate with on Quora tell me that they might support her. It blows my mind, given how much of Bernie Sanders’ agenda Tulsi supports.While Tulsi has focused a lot on foreign policy in her campaign speeches, she points out that the US cannot continue to spend trillions of dollars on war at the expense of domestic programs. That hurts our people far more than any terrorist threat. Medicare for All is top of her mind. Climate change, ending the war on drugs, the private prison monopoly, and free trade are also at the top of her list. Many Republicans, I believe, understand that the cost of war is why we have a failing infrastructure. I wish Democrats would understand that.

A very few people know the real reason and here is why:The college made an application for grant of affiliation for the year 2016–20 with the regulator, JNTUH. The JNTUH’s inspection committee visited the college and found a few deficiencies. The committee notified the same to the college principal to correct them. The principal having received those deficiencies sat on them and didn’t really rectify all of them. They filed an appeal for reconsideration and the University reviewed the same or re inspection was conducted, guess what? she didn’t rectify all of them and the JNTUH declined affiliation to CSE and ECE courses.It was partly because of her that JNTUH didn’t grant affiliation to CSE and ECE courses until the very last day of EAMCET Counselling. The reasons mentioned in the affiliation letter are:Further the University is not inclined to grant affiliation for the remaining courses (i.e, CSE//ECE) because of the following reasons.a. Faculty deficiencies such as1. Lack of Identity proof of faculty such as PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card of the faculty (for the verification of faculty particulars).2. Lack of Payment of salary particulars for existing staff (Bank statement including TDS particulars)3. Qualified and Ratified Principal.b. Laboratory deficiencies as1. Non availability of laboratory equipment / Non working condition of laboratory.The above are essential for imparting Technical education.There are also talks going on about her involvement in some illegal activities but I don’t know how much of it is true.
