PDF Editor FAQ

How close to closing time can one show up at a restaurant? If a restaurant closes at 9, does that mean that they're hoping you'll show up to give them money at 8:59; or are they hoping to start cleaning up and going home?

From my experience with restaurants, closing time is generally listed as the time when they call for final orders. If a restaurant closes at 9, realistically they expect you to be seated by 8:45 so that you can place your order before 9. Also, when you did get around to placing your order, you would ideally be informed that since this is the final round of orders, you would need to order anything else that you would like immediately.A restaurant would close about an hour or two after its last customer had paid and left so it's unlikely that they would have a fixed time by which their doors were shut.

Do I get a higher margin while trading in futures than in stocks (intraday and positional, both)?

My Friend Sambit Baraj , I think you are new to this market. Margin is your investment amount that you are investing and leverage is the limit you get on it. Let’s say you have 10,000/- to invest that is your margin and leverage is limit that broker provides for trading. Like if he gives you 4 times limit that means you can make a trade where you will need a margin of 40,000/-Yes you get higher limit or leverage for trading in Futures segment rather than Equity. How you can make maximum out of your leverage or limit is what you should learn. Implementing correct order type is important. Let me take you through them:CNC (Cash n Carry): For delivery based equity trades. To buy stocks for CNC or for delivery 100% money required. To sell stocks as CNC, stocks need to be available in holdings.MIS (Margin intraday square off): For intraday tradesTrade using MIS for additional leverage/margin. All MIS positions auto-squared off 10 to 15 minutes before close of markets or when losses exceed 50% of margin (Auto-square off rule can vary based on market conditions).Upto 10 times intraday leverage for equityUpto 3 times for futuresUpto 3 times for options shortingNo leverage for option buyingNRML (Normal F&O trades): For intraday/overnight F&O trades without additional leverage. Exchange stipulated margins, positions taken as NRML can be held until expiry, provided required margins maintained.Types of Orders:Limit (LMT) order: Place buy or sell order at a predetermined priceMarket (MKT) order: Place an order to be bought or sold at the best available price.Stoploss or trigger orders (SL and SL-M): Stoploss if placing a predetermined loss booking order at a trigger price. Trigger if using this type of order to enter a fresh buy above the current market price or sell below the current market price when the trigger price is hit. SL if limit order to be sent when trigger is hit. SL-M if a market order to be sent when trigger is hit.Advanced order types: Regular orders with time validity: Day orders for orders to be valid till end of day (selected by default).IOC (Immediate or cancel) for orders to be cancelled if not filled completely immediately.Bracket orders: Intraday limit orders (NSE, NSE F&O) with a target and stoploss and an optional trailing SL all placed simultaneously. Target, Stoploss, and Trailing SL all activated only once the original limit order executed. SL automatically cancelled if target is met and target automatically cancelled if SL is hit. Trailing SL which is optional trails the stoploss price or moves the SL price every time the scrip moves in a favourable direction by the trailing stoploss value mentioned.Cover orders: Intraday market orders (NSE, NSE F&O, Currency, and MCX) with a predetermined stoploss order. Similar to bracket orders, higher leverage due to fixed stoploss and all positions auto-squared off before market closeAMO (After market orders): Place orders for the next trading day the previous day itself. AMO orders can be placed only during the following time duration – Equity – 3:45 PM to 8:59 AM Currency – 3:45 PM to 8:59 AM F&O – 3:45 PM to 9:10 AM MCX – Anytime during the day, if placed during the market hours the order will go through the next day.Few Brokers have CNC and NRML as same, If you want to learn about stock options what are they or how you can make 2000–5000 daily from stock market please prefer reading a blog called DAILY CAPITAL MARKET DOSE, Google for it.

As a food delivery person (pizza etc.) what is your biggest pet peeve?

I’ve been a pizza delivery driver for almost 3 years now so I’ve had some time to think about this one.If you order food, be ready to answer the door. Taking 20 seconds because you are in the bathroom or doing something is fine, but don’t be outside in the back or NOT home. Don’t try to time the delivery to when you think you will be home. It never works out. Other people have orders too. We want to deliver as fast as possible.Us drivers understand not everyone is going to tip, a lot of people don’t and a lot of people do. Make it clear that you need change or don’t need change. If you want to tip a portion of the change pre arrange in your head how much you want back. Ex: Total: 23.87 and you want to tip 5 bucks. Just say “I want 2 (3) bucks back when you hand me $30. This makes things way smoother than me giving you 7 dollars back, just for you to give me 5 back right after.Don’t tell us the pizza is wrong. We are just the drivers. We take nonstop deliveries all day sometimes being in the store for only a few seconds picking up the next delivery. The pizza cutter checks the pizza. The person who bags the deliveries checks it again and makes sure everything is all there. There’s no need for us to check AGAIN after 2 checks. So if it’s wrong. Just call the store and say it’s wrong and enjoy the free pizza you got for our mistake. If you tell me it’s wrong, I’m taking not only the pizza but THE WHOLE ORDER BACK and you will have to wait even longer for your delivery (remake, other deliveries in front ect.)If you order a pizza, please put up your crazy dog. I know he (or she) is gonna bark at the doorbell and I don’t mind dogs at all but I don’t want them running out around my legs sniffing and bumping me while I’m trying to get your pizza. It’s crazy how many people just let their dogs run out when they open the door ..(or struggle to make sure they don’t run out while they are also trying to carry an order inside while also trying to sign) ..just doesn’t work.Leave your lights on at night. GPS is great but when it comes down to it usually I get stuck between 2 houses that both have their lights off and no clear sign of a house number. It’s embarrassing and a waste of time to knock on the wrong door at 11:30 at night. People are sleeping and they don’t want to be bothered.Don’t order at 11:59 if the store closes at 12. It takes 5 minutes to make the order, 10 minutes to cook the order, then 15–30 to deliver. If I am sitting about to cash out and leave at 11:59 but instead I’m now planning to leave at 12:25 because you ordered 1 minute before we closed… I’m kinda pissed. Not cool! Not to mention the managers can’t leave until they count the tills which they can’t do until we (the drivers) get back. Which in this scenario wouldn’t be until 12:45 at least.Gate codes. If you live in a gated community or apartment. Put the gate code…. I don’t want to drive 20 minutes to your apartment to wait another 10 minutes because I don’t have a code and I’m stuck waiting for another car to drive awkwardly around me to open the gate.Answer the phone. Most of the time people make common mistakes in addresses and we drivers can easily tell what it actually is suppose to be because we deliver so often. So we have no problem and can make it to a delivery destination, but sometimes we can’t decipher where to go and we need to call to find out an address or an issue. If you don’t answer, We don’t deliver. So have your phone by you for the 45 minutes you are waiting for your delivery… doesn’t seem hard but it happens more often than not.Lastly some obvious ones that I’m going to throw in here, trying to pay with fake 100s or other bills, paying a dollar short, not knowing their own address and write down the wrong one, drunk people who can’t understand the total or even function properly… people who offer drugs as a tip (if we get in a wreck, we have 24 hours to take a drug test… we don’t do drugs on the job cause it might cost us our job).Hope this is what you wanted to hear!
