Buy them lunch. Ask them for advice. Model what works.Under every circumstance, you have to avoid coming accross as just another, run-of-the-mill, sleazy salesperson. More on that in the next point….My “secret” for making boatloads of money in sales….Call somebody and you’re the annoying salesperson. Have somebody call you and you’re the EXPERT. This changes the whole dynamic of the sale and makes it 100x easier to close! Once you’re the expert, you can prescribe how your prospect should solve his problems.Know every detail of your product.Even more important than anything else: Get inside the head and hearts of your ideal prospects, before you even talk to them. What keeps them awake at night? What goals do they have? Who do they want to impress? Find out as much about your ideal customer’s psychology as you can.Translate every feature of your product, into an emotionally-charged benefit.
