The american army immediately sends out scouts and infantry to find the enemy. Upon finding them (they do, and loose some in a brief firefight), they begin a massive artillery barrage, and air assault. This is devesating, and the rest of the army just mops up…Yes, thats the battle. The clones lack artillery, so counter battery fire is impossible. There air units are weak and short range compared to americas, or any countries. Well, that was a long answer, sorry for that.

What is considered “strict discipline” is a matter of opinion. To a parent who lets their child get away with everything, any discipline would be considered “strict.”Rebellious behavior can come from kids no matter how they are raised, because children are born with a certain temperament. Some kids are easy, obedient, and enjoy pleasing their parents. Other kids defy their parents at every turn. Parents with multiple children will know this. They raise their kids with the same discipline style, but some of their kids are well behaved while others are rebellious. It’s also normal for teens to rebel at least a little bit when they reach that age, especially since they see teens doing it on TV, plus kids at school doing drugs, having sex, and cussing. Even good kids can be tempted to imitate their peers.Dr. James Dobson conducted a survey of 35,000 parents. Here is what he learned (254-255):There are 3 times as many strong-willed kids as those who are complaint. Nearly every family with multiple children has at least one who wants to run things. Male strong willed children outnumber females by about 5%, and female compliant children outnumber males by about 6%. Contrary to the birth order theory that first borns are compliant while second borns are rebels, Dobson found that birth order has nothing to do with being strong-willed or compliant. Most parents can tell very early whether they have a compliant or strong-willed child, from birth to age 3. Temperaments of children tend to reflect those of their parents. 74% of strong-willed kids rebel significantly during adolescence even if parents raise them properly. “The weaker the authority of the parents when the kids are young, the greater the conflict is in later years” (254). Only3% of compliant kids severely rebel as teens, and only 14% mildly rebel. Strong willed kids rapidly decrease in rebellion in their early 20s.Permissive parenting can cause teen violence. Since permissive parenting has risen, there began to be a new syndrome of family violence called parent battering (334-335). “According to a study by Dan Olweus reported in Developmental Psychology in 1980, childhood aggressiveness is actually more closely linked to maternal permissiveness and negative criticism than to even abusive physical discipline” (348).Dr. Baumrind of UC Berkeley “found that parents employing a balanced disciplinary style of firm control (including spanking) and positive encouragement experienced the most favorable outcome in their children. Parents taking extreme approaches to discipline (authoritarian types using excessive punishment with less encouragement or permissive types using little punishment and no spanking) were less successful” (350).Quotes are from his book called The New Strong-Willed Child.
