People delivering your post or parcels, meter readers, bailiffs, utility workers acting in an emergency (gas/water leak etc) and of course emergency service workers. Also, there are some other legal conditions required to call it “adverse possession”. So it is best to check the property laws for your locality.It is easy to stop the clock in several ways. The easiest way is to simply give them written permission. Example: your neighbor has extended her garden onto your land. You could simply give her permission to continue, and you retain legal ownership by doing so. But, again, check your local laws.Either way, expect to engage the services of a surveyor to prove the land is yours, unless a legal survey was recently done and the boundary is clearly marked. Plus, a lawyer may be needed.As for entering the part of the building that is on your land, I believe there are some superceding laws that prohibit you from doing that. Getting arrested for entering their home is not a good way to settle a property dispute.

The school may let the students do things with varying degrees of danger (sports, games, etc.) and the school assumes responsibility. What happens off school property is no longer the school’s responsibility.
