Book Club Registration: Fill & Download for Free

I’ve done some library volunteer work (mostly book displays and a few programs) and here are my ideas:Host engaging community programs for all ages, for free—costs can be limited by limiting registration. My local library offers book clubs, writing workshops, role-playing games, and more.Offer useful programs and services such as ESOL classes and public computers.Have a sizable collection with multiple copies of popular materials.

This is a real experience I had about three years ago. What started out as a fun and philanthropic bike riders trip ended up in a crazy, out of the movie, situation.The incident happened in 2015 May. I am associated with a Royal Enfield Bullet riding club in Cochin, kerala and we do a lot of charity programs as part of social responsibility.In one of our monthly meetings, I gave them the idea of distributing some needy things to the tribal settlement of Attapady area in Kerala. That was the time starvation deaths in Attapady was a much discussed issue in Kerala as well as national media. Poverty, malnutrition led to deaths of tribal children: StudyThe idea was well appreciated within the gang as it gave us an opportunity to ride to the beautiful mountain ranges as well as accomplish our goal of doing something good for the poor tribal families.The arrangements at Attapady was done by a local resource who identified one tribal hamlet and made sure that we have a good gathering of needy people. We packed items like rice, sugar, used cloths, daal etc to be distributed and set on our ride.It was raining throughout the ghat roads but the ride was awesome and we reached the spot which was way inside forest by around 5 in the evening. We completed the distribution in an hour and felt happy and good about it.We were in a hurry to return as we needed to cover the ghat roads before it was too dark, hence we were riding a bit fast. Suddenly, the lead rider stopped abruptly bringing the entire pack of 20 riders to a halt in the forest.Around 30 armed commandos covered us from all directions. Somewhat like this.All of us were asked to surrender leaving the bikes aside.We did not have any clue as to what was happening.The leader of the commandos then came to us and told that they have got the information that maoist who are hiding in the forest are being given fresh supply of food and clothes from outside hands and they strongly suspected that we came just for the same!Before we got any time to explain further, all of us were taken to the nearby police headquarters along with our bikes.At the station, we tried our best to explain the situation to him, but he was not willing to listen.His version was very simple; all their informers have confirmed that around 20 bikers who covered themselves with full jacket and helmet have climbed the forest routes with lot of luggage in their carriers and they suspect it was supply for the maoist who were hiding in the forest.We called our contacts who we thought could be of help in this situation. Fortunately, I had a senior of mine who was an IPS officer who could confirm to the station that he knows me very well. The commander-in-chief then summoned me and raised the following concerns :Knowing that Attapady was a Maoist sensitive area, you should not have done such an activity without informing the police officials.Who knows whether one of us was a genuine maoist supporter and had supplied uniform or weapons without others’ knowledge!Have you supplied any specific color T-shirts? Black /green?He also revealed to us that there were orders to shoot without warning in case any one of us reacted when they surrounded us!! Man, that did make our hairs stand up and that's when we fully realized the gravity of the situation we had gotten ourselves into!Luckily, they were convinced after a few background checks and after questioning the local who made arrangements for us. We had to show them the club registration details, ID proof copy of all the riders and had to give statements.Finally, we were able to leave the station by around 11pm in the night.Even though I recall the incident as a funny experience, the whole incident felt so unreal while it was happening.Image source: Google and Facebook group

Go to the website and register. Upon registration, they will ask you if you want to review books, press yes and you are good to go. Once inside, go to the review page, press the select button and choose the book you would like to review. You don’t only acquire free books but also get paid for reviewing them. Good luck.
