In the year 2025, they plan to achieve 75% of their workforce to work from home and only the remaining 25% of the workforce will be required to work from an office. However, this won’t be in place as of now or till 2024.Currently, as per media reports, 98% of employees working with TCS are still continuing in their work from home model, one year into the pandemic. Some of the projects have started calling back the employees, especially the ones which handle confidential and sensitive data. And once normalcy resumes, most of the projects will follow their paths into bringing back the employees.Permanent work from home has only been introduced by a couple of tech giants like Twitter and Salesforce. Others like Google and Microsoft have announced it till the end of 2021 for now. As for service providers like TCS, they don’t always have a call in this since the client might not be very comfortable with the project members working from home so they are requesting TCS, which in turn are asking the project members to return back to their office and resume work.
