Squaring two digit Numbers:The trick goes like this :lets say you need to find 93 ^ 2.now everyone knows 9 ^ 2, hence you know 90 ^ 2 i.e. 8100.now take 3, multiply it with 90 and double the result, it becomes 540.now find the square of unit place digit i.e. 3 ^ 2 = 9.Add these three numbers 8100 + 540 + 9, it gives you 8649.another e.g : 79 ^ 270 ^ 2 = 490070 * 9 = 630 * 2 = 12609 ^ 2 = 814900+1260+81 = 6241.you might say that finding sum of these numbers is a bit tedious, but if you look at this way, 49+12 = 61, 60+81 = 141, => 6241.PS: let me know if it's already available or if it fails for any two digit number, mean while i will try to find something similar for 3 digits as well.
