Why? 2 reasons:Most grid-tie solar setups do not work if the grid is down. This is to prevent injury/death of linemen who are trying to fix the outage. If your solar power back-feeds to the grid, you could kill a repairman. Even if your solar array is generating power, your house will be dark…you are S.O.L.Now, there is a way around this: An Off-Grid System or a Hybrid System will provide energy to your home when the grid is down, but there is a lot of cost (for batteries) and considering the limitations of battery storage, it won’t last you long, especially at night.If your roof is covered in snow and/or it’s 10°F outside at night, you’re not generating any power, anyhow, so the point is moot. Solar does not work well if your panels are shaded, or it’s cloudy, or it’s night time, not to mention, during the short days of winter.Speaking just on Tesla Powerwall:The Powerwall system can act like a Hybrid Solar System, as it stores and distributes power to your home, even if the power is out. Even better, you don’t even need solar to get a power wall. You can buy a power wall and simply use it as a whole-house battery backup.On the downside, again, BATTERY COST. Each Powerwall is 13.5kWh, you can stack them to create 27kWh, 40.5kWh, 54kWh, etc. but it gets more and more expensive. The initial installation is about $12,000, plus about $7,000 for each additional battery. To warm your home, you’d easily burn through EACH battery in about an hour or so.What you should do, instead:GET A GENERATOR!!!!!!!If you don’t want to spend a lot of money. You should own a reliable 5,000W gasoline pull-start generator….AND TEST IT BY RUNNING IT FOR 15 MINUTES, ONCE A MONTH!!!! Such a generator won’t power much, but it could at least run a 1000W space heater for your bedroom, plus your fridge, and an LED light. Also, get a proper 30A power cord which splits into (2) 15A outlets. Run it into your home and practice setting it up, make sure all your cords reach.If you want to invest. Get a REAL whole-house generator with a transfer switch, that runs on natural gas or propane. Get something that can run for days at a time and power most, if not your whole home with minimal maintenance. You’re looking at a $3–5k investment.

After second WW and the formation of UN, it is not easy to attack or occupy other declared countries unless there is a genuine claim which has to be sorted out on table. the best example is Britain acquiring Hong Kong and handing over to china after a century. we could have acquired Bangladesh and also Lahore and some parts during Bangla war in 71. but finally India would have been labelled as aggressor and asked to free or hand over those places to Pakistan. India knew it. secondly you cannot acquire a country or a part there of by force which has some hostile elements. India did a wise thing by liberating Bangladesh and leave her to her own fate. India showed maturity showing the world it is not for expansionism. at that stage India was not prepared to take the burden of 18 crore people. this would have resulted in a very bad after effects mainly rapid demographic changes.Pakistan is undergoing turmoil on her own land by her own people and country will continue to remain same unless people from sindh and baluchistan seriously think of autonomy or independence. the rest will be domino effect. so india need not do any thing at this stage except to guard its borders
