What evidence does Islam have that it is the true religion?
Quran & Science:We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand? (Quran 21:10).Quran is not a book of science, but the determination is to test the Quran whether this book is divine or not. If this book is delivered from the true God then it must be acceptable with modern science & technology. Almost all sources, classical and modern, agree that the Quran has passed this test with much more than expectations.A few years ago a group of Muslims collected all information concerning embryology from the Quran, and all this information was presented to Prof. (Dr.) Keith Moore, Keith Leon who is a professor emeritus in the division of anatomy, in the Faculty of Surgery, at the University Of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Moore is associate dean for Basic Medical Sciences in the university's Faculty of Medicine, and was Chair of Anatomy from 1976 to 1984. He is a founding member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA), and was President of the AACA between 1989 and 1991. He was requested to give his opinion regarding the information present in the Quran concerning the field of embryology. After carefully examining the translation of the Quranic verses presented to him, Dr. Moore said that most of the information concerning embryology mentioned in the Quran is in perfect conformity with modern discoveries in the field of embryology and does not conflict with them in any way. He added that there were however a few verses, on whose scientific accuracy he could not comment. He could not say whether the statements were true or false, since he himself was not aware of the information contained therein. After that Dr. Keith Moore embraced Islam. There was also no mention of this information in modern writings and studies on embryology. One of such verse is: “Proclaim! (or Read!) In the name Of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created – Created man, out of a (mere) clot Of congealed blood.” [Quran 96:1-2] The word alaq besides meaning a congealed clot of blood also means something that clings, a leech-like substance. Dr. Keith Moore had no knowledge whether an embryo in the initial stages appears like a leech. To check this out he studied the initial stage of the embryo under a very powerful microscope in his laboratory and compared what he observed with a diagram of a leech and he was astonished at the striking resemblance between the two! In the same manner, he acquired more information on embryology that was hitherto not known to him, from the Quran. Dr. Keith Moore answered about eighty questions dealing with embryological data mentioned in the Quran and Hadith. Noting that the information contained in the Quran and Hadith was in full agreement with the latest discoveries in the field of embryology, Prof. Moore said, “If I was asked these questions thirty years ago, I would not have been able to answer half of them for lack of scientific information” Dr. Keith Moore had earlier authored the book, ‘The Developing Human’. After acquiring new knowledge from the Quran, he wrote, in 1982, the 3rd edition of the same book, ‘The Developing Human’. The book was the recipient of an award for the best medical book written by a single author. This book has been translated into several major languages of the world and is used as a textbook of embryology in the first year of medical studies. In 1981, during the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Dr. Moore said, “It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Quran about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to from True God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad (pbuh) must have been a messenger of God.” Dr. Joe Leigh Simpson, Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, U.S.A., proclaims: “...these Hadiths, sayings of Muhammad (pbuh) could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of the writer (7th century). It follows that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion (Islam) but in fact religion (Islam) may guide science by adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches there exist statements in the Quran shown centuries later to be as a valid. And God has created every living creature from water. (Quran 24:45)Do we know that cytoplasm; the basic substance of the cell is made up of 80% water, modern research has also revealed that most organisms consist of 50% to 90% water & that every living entity requires water for its existence. When they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving. (Quran 27:18)Scientists have discovered that ants routinely talk to each other in their nests with the queen ants issuing instructions to their workers. Scientists used miniaturized microphones and speakers, unobtrusively inserted into nest to make the first recordings of queen ants “speaking” to each other. Researchers found that queen ants make subtle sounds that signal their special status to worker ants. As part of this research, researchers placed miniature speakers into the nest and played back sounds by a queen which persuaded ants to stand to attention. Researchers said that the ants would press their antennae to the speaker just as they would seek to greet another ant in the nest.Let us investigate the Quran with Mathematics;Indeed He has already enumerated them, and He has numbered them with numbering(Quran 19:94). BSM ALLAH AR HMAN AR HIM (HAS 19 LETTERS & 6 WORDS 19X6=114)This is the phrase recited before each surah (chapter) of the Quran there are 114 chapters in the Quran and it appears in Quran 114 times. The first revelation was chapter 96 Surah Alaq it has 19 verses. The first verse has 19 letters there were first four verses which were revealed first time these four verses have 19 letters. Shurah Alaq comes in Quran as the last 19th Surah. There are more examples such as above.Joseph told his father, 'Father! I saw eleven bright stars and the sun and moon as well. I saw them all prostrate in front of me.' (Surah Joseph, 12:4)· There are 11 letters in the term "A h d A s h r K o k b," meaning; eleven stars."· There are 11 words up to the term "" ahd Ashr kokb," (eleven stars).( Ith qala yoosufu li-abeehi yaabati innee raaytu ahada AAashara kawkaban ) = 11 wordsThe number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) & shahrain are 12 twelve time.In a solar calendar a year approximates Earth's tropical year (the time it takes for a complete cycle)So it doesn’t mean Jews calendar, Muslim calendar, or Chinese calendar!"Day" occurs 365 times, and "month" occurs 12 times in the Glorious Quran!(a)- "Yawm" يوم(Day) in its pure/original form and meaning. What does this mean?(b)- "Month" شهر(shahr) mentioned 12 times in its pure form and meaning.a) How old is the Universe according the Quran? The angels and the spirit ascend unto Him in a day, the measure of which was fifty thousand years. (Quran 70:4)This verse refers to the ascent of angels and the spirit (meant to be Gabriel) back to heaven after settling all matters of life in the universe. The verse clearly said a day that "was" and not a day that 'is', which clearly indicates that that day was in the past (50,000 years ago)."…a day relative to your God is equivalent to a thousand years of your count." (Quran 22:47)With a few simple equations:If 1 day (for God) = 1000 years (for man)1 year (for God) = 1000 x 365 (for man) = 365,000 years50,000 years (for God) = 365,000 x 50,000 (for man) = 18.25 billion yearsThe 50,000 years mentioned is God's years and not men's. This is because man was not mentioned at all in that verse and more importantly because the subject of the verse (creation of the universe) is obviously a matter executed by God and not by man and, so, its description must also be as related to God and not to man. This becomes evident when we compare this verse to other verses that clearly speak of years as related to man's count, like the verse:"…on a day, the measure of which was a thousand years of your count." (Quran 32:5)Prophecy and Scientific Miracle in Quran;Alif, Lam, Mim. The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will themselves be victorious in a few years of the time. The affair is God's from beginning to end. (Quran, 30:1-4)Prophecy; The Byzantine & Sasanian War from 602 to 628 was the final and most devastating of the series of wars fought between the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire and the Sasanian Empire of Persia. The Persians proved largely successful during the first stage of the war from 602 to 622, conquering much of the Levant, Egypt, and parts of Anatolia. Few years after the revelation of these verses the Persians made a final attempt to take Constantinople in 626, but were defeated there. In 627 Heraclius invaded the heartland of the Persians and forced them to sue for peace.Scientific Miracle; the lowest land (أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ "Adna al Ard"}{כדור הארץ נמוך }{Low Earth}), the lowest point on the earth:-The hub of Wars where Romans lost their war was the area of; The Dead Sea Depression is an extensive area of land that is below sea level. It contains the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee, a portion of the Jordan River, large areas of cultivated land and many communities.b) How old Earth is according the Quran?Muslims believe that 6 days passed at God's Throne but we experienced 18.25 billion years (according to Quran) on Earth: Muslims believe that God is not bound to His Throne; rather He created it and set it as a reference."We [Allah] created the heavens and the Earth and all what's between them in six days, and We were not touched by fatigue." (Quran 50.38)"Say: "Is it that you deny Him [Allah] who created the Earth in two days? And you claim others to be equal to Him? He is the Lord of (all) the Worlds." (Quran 41.9)When God says that He created the Heavens, the Earth and EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN in six days this means that He is referring to the period of existence. Earth has been in existence for 2 days (out of 6). In God's Throne time, Earth is 2 days old while the Heavens and Earth and everything in between are 6 days old. This makes the age of Earth to be one third the age of the universe (2/6 = 1/3). The age of the universe is 18.25 billion years and the Earth is 1/3 of that. So, the Earth is 6.1 billion years according to numerical values in Quran. But to our modern sciences (which is still in progress), the universe is 13.7 billion years. So, the Earth is 1/3 of that ... then the age of the Earth according to modern science is only 4.5672 billion years. But still, I choose Quran's version :)Pyramids in Quran:And Pharaoh said, 'Council, I know not that you have any god but me. Kindle me, Haman, a fire upon the clay, and make me a tower, that I may mount up to Moses' god; for I think that he is one of the liars.' (Quran 28:38)According to map researchers the Giza Plateau, the location of the great pyramid is the most powerful vortex point on the planet, and that the King Chamber within the Great Pyramid represents a narrow gateway to stars. This is the reason that the pyramids were built at this location. The architect of the Pyramids was the high priest Imhotep (Earliest known architect, engineer, and physician in history) who began building amazing structures that you can see on the Giza plateau today. Evidently he stumbled upon the intersection of some key ley lines which pin-pointed the exact location of the Egyptian stargate.Further more for centuries, Egyptologists and geologists thought that the Egyptian pyramids were made of limestone blocks (up to 70 tons) that were quarried by chiseling limestone. Workers then carried those blocks up the pyramids on ramps. This building procedure was thought to be so superhuman that it made the pyramids become one of the Seven Wonders of the World. However today electron microscopes revealed that the blocks at the top have chemistries found nowhere in nature. Those blocks at the top must have been baked and then cast like modern cement (not chiseled from existing limestone)Heavens and Quran:And when the heaven is rent asunder and turns rose colored like paint.(Quran 55:37)A 'Rose' Made of Galaxies:In celebration of the twenty-first anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope's deployment in April 2011, astronomers at the Space Telescope Science Institute pointed Hubble's eye to an especially photogenic group of interacting galaxies called Arp 273.The larger of the spiral galaxies, known as UGC 1810, has a disk that is tidally distorted into a rose-like shape by the gravitational tidal pull of the companion galaxy below it, known as UGC 1813. A swath of blue jewels across the top is the combined light from clusters of intensely bright and hot young blue stars. These massive stars glow fiercely in ultraviolet light. The smaller, nearly edge-on companion shows distinct signs of intense star formation at its nucleus, perhaps triggered by the encounter with the companion galaxy.A series of uncommon spiral patterns in the large galaxy is a tell-tale sign of interaction. The large, outer arm appears partially as a ring, a feature seen when interacting galaxies actually pass through one another. This suggests that the smaller companion actually dived deep, but off-center, through UGC 1810. The inner set of spiral arms is highly warped out of the plane with one of the arms going behind the bulge and coming back out the other side. How these two spiral patterns connect is still not precisely known. The interaction was imaged on Dec. 17, 2010, with Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).This Hubble image is a composite of data taken with three separate filters on WFC3 that allow a broad range of wavelengths covering the ultraviolet, blue and red portions of the spectrum. And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. (Quran 41:12)And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze. (Quran 67:5)The visible universe—including Earth, the sun, other stars, and galaxies—is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons bundled together into atoms. Perhaps one of the most surprising discoveries of the 20th century was that this ordinary, or baryonic, matter makes up less than 5 percent of the mass of the universe. The rest of the universe appears to be made of a mysterious, invisible substance called dark matter (25 percent) and a force that repels gravity known as dark energy (70 percent).Shooting Star and Quran:Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars- And as protection against every rebellious devil- [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side- Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.- Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. (Quran 37:6-10)Policeman's Report; On 24 April 1964 at approximately 1745 hours, a Socorro, New Mexico, police officer, Lonnie Zamora, was headed south chasing a speeding automobile when he suddenly heard a roar and saw a flame in the sky to the southwest. He decided to let the speeder go in favor of investigating the flame, because there was a dynamite shack in that area and it might have blown up. He turned right onto a gravel road that ran by the shack. As he was driving slowly along the road, Zamora saw above a steep hill just ahead a funnel-shaped flame, bluish and sort of orange. The base of the flame was hidden behind the hill; there was no smoke connected with it. He had trouble getting the car to the top of the hill because of loose gravel; he had to try three times before he made it. As he reached the top of the hill he saw a shiny object to the south, this side of the dynamite shack, about 150-200 yards away. It was off the road to the left in an arroyo, and at first glance it looked like a car turned over; but when he drove closer, it appeared to be aluminum color, not chrome, and oval-shaped like a football.Zamora drove about 50 feet along the hill crest, radioing back to the sheriff's office, "10-44 [accident], I'll be 10-6 [busy out of the car] checking a wreck down in the arroyo." From this point, seated in the car, he could not see the object over the edge of the hill. As he stopped the car, he was still talking on the radio, and while he was getting out he dropped the mike. He picked it up and put it back and started down toward the object.Just then he heard a very loud roar, not exactly like a blast but not steady like a jet engine. It was of low frequency at first and then became higher. At the same time be saw a light blue flame, sort of orange at the bottom. Zamora believes this flame came from the underside of the object; he could see no smoke but some dust in the vicinity. He panicked; he thought the object was going to blow up. In his own words (with slight rearrangements for the sake of clarity):As soon as saw flame and heard roar, . . . ran away from object but did turn head towards object. Object was ( ) in shape. It was smooth-no windows or doors. As roar started, it was still on or near ground. Noted red lettering of some type like ( ^ ). Insignia was about 21/4 inches high and about 2 inches wide, guess. Was in middle of object, like ( . ). Object still like aluminum white.[Running], bumped leg on car—back fender area. Car facing southwest. . . . Fell by car and [sun] glasses fell off, kept running to north, with car between me and object. . . . I guess I bad run about 25 feet when I glanced back and saw the object . . . rise to about level of car, about 20 to 25 feet, guess. Took, I guess, about six seconds when object started to rise and I glanced back. . . . It appeared about directly over the place where it rose from.I was still running, . . . [then] about 50 feet from car 1 ducked down, just over edge of hill. . . . I stopped because I did not hear the roar. I was scared of the roar, and I had planned to continue running down the hill. I turned around toward the object and at the same time put my head toward ground, covering my face with my arms. . . . When the roar stopped, heard a sharp tone whine and the whine lasted maybe a second. Then there was complete silence about the object. That's when I lifted up my head and saw the object going away from me . . . in a southwest direction . . . It did not come any closer to me. It appeared to go in straight line and at same height-possibly 10 to 15 feet from ground, and it cleared the dynamite shack by about three feet. Shack about eight feet high. Object was traveling very fast. It seemed to rise up, and take off immediately across country.I ran back to my car and as I ran back, I kept an eye on the object. I picked up my ... sun glasses, got into the car, and radioed to Nep Lopes, radio operator, to look out the window, to see if you could see an object. He asked, what is it? I answered, it looks like a balloon. I don't know if he saw it. If Nep looked out his window, which faces north, he couldn't have seen it. I did not tell him at the moment which window to look out of.As I was calling Nep, I could still see object. The object seemed to lift up slowly, and to get small in the distance very fast. It seemed to just clear the Box Canyon or Mile Canyon Mountain. It disappeared as it went over the mountain. It had no flame whatsoever as it was traveling over the ground, and no smoke or noise.Feeling in good health. Last drink—two or three beers—was over a month ago. Noted no odors. Noted no sounds other than described. Gave direction to Nep Lopes at radio and to Sergeant MS Chaves [of New Mexico state police at Socorro] to get there. Went down to where the object had been, and I noted the brush was burning in several places. . . . I got my pen and drew a picture of the insignia on the object. . . .Then Sgt. Chaves came up, asked me what the trouble was because I was sweating and he told me that I was white, very pale. I asked the Sgt. to see what I saw and that was the burning brush. Then Sgt. Chaves and I went to the spot and Sgt. Chaves pointed out the tracks. When I first saw the object (when I thought it might be a car) I saw what appeared to be two legs of some type from the object to the ground. At the time, I didn't pay much attention to . . . the two legs. The two legs were at the bottom of the object, slanted outwards to the ground. The object might have been about three and a half feet from the ground at that time. . . .
Are there lots of jobs out there with fancy titles but with not that much esteem?
Certainly, “Vice Presidents” by the score at a bank, consultancy, advertising agency, or many others are especially common with all sorts of adjectives attached (“Senior, Executive, etc.”) just as “Director”, “Manager”, etc.. In business it’s often to make their clients believe they’re getting promises (like delivery, customization, special deals, discounts, etc.) from someone with the authority to make those terms stick, that’s what makes CEO’s such effective salespeople despite often no sales experience or training. The military has a ton of them to delineate specicif authority and academia uses them a lot too as compensation and status (Instructor, Adjunct, Associate Prof, Assistant, Professor, Dept. Chair,, Dean.)It’s much cheaper (free really except for some new business cards, door signage, maybe a bigger or private office’s square foot cost) than a substantial raise and no longer comes automatically with an administrative assistant who already knew most of the job.In traditional organizational hierarchies, it’s how many people directly report to that “title” and how much authority over them the “title” has (micromanagement, hire, fire, transfer, develop or stagnate them, sizable budget and resources to allocate, manage just ongoing operations or major projects or both, travel and vacation approvals, protect them from others in the company (very significant), and which of their priorities and preferences are enforced.)In smaller businesses it’s routinely the person without a formal title that everyone asks and pays attention to who turns out to be actually running the place and often the owner. So treating the tired, dissheveled person in comfortable shoes and clothing as a low-status minion is an extremely common mistake by salespeople, bureaucrats, donation seekers, and customers.

This is because man was not mentioned at all in that verse and more importantly because the subject of the verse (creation of the universe) is obviously a matter executed by God and not by man and, so, its description must also be as related to God and not to man. This becomes evident when we compare this verse to other verses that clearly speak of years as related to man's count, like the verse:"…on a day, the measure of which was a thousand years of your count." (Quran 32:5)Prophecy and Scientific Miracle in verses;Alif, Lam, Mim. The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will themselves be victorious in a few years of the time. The affair is God's from beginning to end. (Quran, 30:1-4)Prophecy; The Byzantine & Sasanian War from 602 to 628 was the final and most devastating of the series of wars fought betweenthe Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Empire and the Sasanian Empire of Persia. The Persians proved largely successful during the firststage of the war from 602 to 622, conquering much of the Levant, Egypt, and parts of Anatolia. Few years after the revelation of theseverses the Persians made a final attempt to take Constantinople in 626, but were defeated there. In 627 Heraclius invaded the heartlandof the Persians and forced them to sue for peace.Scientific Miracle; the lowest land (أَدْنَى الْأَرْضِ "Adna al Ard"}{כדור הארץ נמוך}{Low Earth}), the lowest point on the earth:-The hub of Wars where Romans lost their war was the area of; The Dead Sea Depression is an extensive area of land that is below sea level. Those blocks at the top must have been baked and then cast like modern cement (not chiseled from existing limestone)Heavens and Quran:And when the heaven is rent asunder and turns rose colored like paint. (Quran 55:37)A 'Rose' Made of Galaxies:In celebration of the twenty-first anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope's deployment in April 2011, astronomers at the Space Telescope Science Institute pointed Hubble's eye to an especially photogenic group of interacting galaxies called Arp 273.The larger of the spiral galaxies, known as UGC 1810, has a disk that is tidally distorted into a rose-like shape by the gravitational tidal pull of the companion galaxy below it, known as UGC 1813. The rest of the universe appears to be made of a mysterious, invisible substance called dark matter (25 percent) and a force that repels gravity known as dark energy (70 percent).Shooting Star and Quran:Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars-And as protection against every rebellious devil- [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side-Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.- Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. (Quran 37:6-10)Policeman's Report; (UFO)On 24 April 1964 at approximately 1745 hours, a Socorro, New Mexico, police officer, Lonnie Zamora, was headed south chasing a speeding automobile when he suddenly heard a roar and saw a flame in the sky to the southwest. The object might have been about three and a half feet from the ground at that time. . . .
