PDF Editor FAQ

As one living in Andhra Pradesh, did you expect such a massive victory for Jagan Mohan Reddy? Why did Chandra Babu Naidu face such a huge defeat?

No. Infact if anyone apart from the Reddys and hard core YSR fans say they have seen a landslide victory for YSRCP, I would say they are lying. Before we talk about this result let us talk about few political dynamics, tactics and campaign trends of both the parties over the last 5yrs. This is going to be lengthy. As I will try to explain the 1000 reasons that lead to Karna's fall.Center-State relationship: In 2014, TDP was part of NDA. Won with just 2% of difference share in votes. The 2% is because TDP then assured of farmer loan waiver, Kapu reservation and also there was Modi wave.If there was one party and state that got benefited hugely during Vajpayee's NDA rule, it was TDP and Undivided Andhra Pradesh. Naidu thought aligning with the winning horse, Modi-Shah led BJP would also be the same. He hoped to repeat a '94 and '99. But to every one's surprise, BJP touched half way mark on it's own. Now they don't necessarily need allies to keep the power. Politics is purely a 'how much' game. How useful are you? or how powerful are you? BJP in 2014 didn't have foothold on their own in 5–6 states. And AP is one of them. With a strong leader like Naidu at helm naturally it is difficult for them to penetrate. In Indian politics, when a party in power has no stakes in a particular state or won't be possible to have in the foreseeable future, that state would not get funds. You can check our history for this.Andhra Pradesh became that state now. Cause even if the center gives funds, special status etc, naturally the development credit would go to an established development leader like Naidu. This is no use for BJP as a party.Hence they didn't give special status or Railway zone or Port or anything for that matter. 3yrs Naidu made a wait and see stand. But when the heat was on he came out of NDA, which was late by then already.I seriously think even if it was Jagan or Pawan Kalyan or Jayaprakash Narayan in power it wouldn't have made a single ounce of difference in this scene. BJP would never conceede. They don't have a reason(politically). But…Both Pawan Kalyan and the main opposition Jagan, successfully grabbed the opportunity to picturise it as Naidu's monumental failure. We, the voters are naive should we think they don't know the reality.KCR Affect: Intially in 2014, like said above, Naidu was happy in his honeymoon with BJP in center and the respect he was receiving as an ally. Same was not the case in the State. Naidu's tall promises and KCR's agressiveness didn't give time for Naidu to breathe.TDP since it's inception was institutionally more stronger in Telangana than in Andhra although their main Kamma caste followers are from Andhra region. Chandrababu knows this. He wanted his party to have strong representation in both regions. But he made a mistake. He didn't chose a strong candidate as Telangana TDP head for the sole reason of not letting go off having absolute control over 'his' party. KCR successfully used this to paint T-TDP as Andhra Party. T-TDP had 15 MLAs in 2014, almost all of them whom defected to TRS. Truly speaking KCR bought Naidu's MLAs virtually killing the party in Telanaga. A personal war started between both KCR and Naidu cause of this.Naidu raised issues like water, assets, resources etc to irk KCR. Personal rivalry turned into rivalries between governmets. KCR easily outplayed Naidu using his surplus budget funds. He hiked salaries of State Road Transportation employees besides regularising contract employees. Seeing this employees of Andhra went on strike for the want of same. Naidu had to conceede to 43% hike for State Transportation employees. 8 day strike loss to AP was Rs.100cr. And a more Rs.960cr added every year from then due to hike.KCR next increased all state government employees' salary by 43%. Naidu was again forced to increase more than 29% that the pay revision committee has recommended. Added load to the budget…Rs.7000cr/year.Naidu foolishly thought of taking revenge on KCR for this by doing horse trading in MLC elections. KCR's news paper and Channel released Revanth Reddy's visuals as well as Naidu's audio tapes. This was the first time probably Naidu was caught in an act of corruption red handed in his 40yrs of political career. His image got tarnished forever! The moral high ground that Naidu kept claiming over Jagan all these years was lost in a day! It let Pawan Kalyan slowly distant himself and Jagan gain advantage.Amaravathi: I feel Amaravathi is the apt location for having the capital. One should know Amaravathi was infact the capital even during the great Satavahana Dynasty. The region has it's history. Why not other places is not a question at all. Cause it's natural that everyone wants the capital to be right beside their hometown where they own lands.Yet, the opposition successfully made sure the neutral people believe that this is a calculated decision to raise the values of assets of TDP's traditional Kamma supporters who are the majority population in and around the current capital region.TDP didn't make any efforts to kill this negativity.Rushing the capital: In 2014–15 there were numerous incidents where AP employees and Telangana employees fought inside Secretariat. Naidu showed this as a reason to rush the capital even though there was 10 yrs time in common capital. He also showed several reasons like losing taxes to Telangana, flight costs to AP govt etc etc. His minister Narayana when asked by dissent employees said “we have to move anyway sometime. Why not now?”Clearly none of the reasons were believable enough. They would have been had he did the same before he was caught in note for vote case. This became a major weapon in Jagan's hands. Even KCR and team targeted him during Telangana elections, saying he “ran away” to Amaravathi in fear of jail term.Temporary Tag and Graphics: Probably this one costed Naidu big time.Amaravathi was planned as brain child of Naidu. I wouldn't doubt his intentions here to build a world class city for people of Andhra as, I liked both the plan and futuristic ideas they are imbibing. But Naidu was low on funds. He went for many innovative ideas like Amaravathi Bonds. But the fall out with the centre really slowed down the progress of construction of buildings. The revenue deficit was not fulfilled by the center from 2017. Naidu was adrift for lack of funds. Apart from Secretariat, Assembly, High Court and few other NGO Officers buildings there was nothing for him to show to people. Nothing that he can call “permanent”. Even in 2018, the CM’s official Twitter handle and Amaravathi development authority kept releasing 2D graphic building videos of permanent Secretariat that just started it's construction. The opposition ran a fantastic campaign on this mismanagement. Calling Amaravathi a myth which exists only in Graphics and videos. TDP countered this with Aamaravthi Yatra and one single advertisement, thinking 3yrs campaign can be brought down with it. Pity the TDP party!Kapu Reservation: Naidu's TDP won 28 out of 34 seats in Kapu dominated Godavari districts in 2014. Pretty much explains how well the reservation card played. Naidu promised both reservation and 1000cr corpus fund annually for Kapus, well knowing that both the Supreme Court ruling on cap on reservations and the deficit budget would not allow him do to either of those promised. He could only allot just 100cr fund in first 2yrs. And when 1400cr was spent on Pattiseema, mudragada padmanabham showed it as a reason and brought mid costal region to a halt by dharna and burning down a train.I seriously don't know whom to blame. The caste leader who did this or Naidu who gave him that chance. The govt had a clear warning a couple of days earlier to the incident.Naidu managed it well but shifted that blame to Jagan. Everyone knows it's a hollow blame. May be he didn't realise trying to show Jagan as the devil for everything would consolidate sympathy on Jagan and would fetch him nothing. This is one of the most irrepairable set backs for Naidu during his term. He just lost those 28 seats even before he contested in 2019 again.Special Package: In 2016, Naidu sent Suresh Prabhu to Rajya Sabha from Vishakapatnam hoping for Railway Zone. He didn't get it.In mid 2016, Central Govt told Naidu that Niti Aayog decided to remove special category status concept in India. In that place there will only be a sepcial package for economically backward and revenue deficit states for industrial push up. The finance ministry said the decision was taken cause of the reforms suggested by 14th Finance Commission. Here is the Finance Ministry press release in Sept 2016: Central Assistance to Andhra PradeshHonestly when the concept of Special status itself is taken down, the is no point in fooling people about it. Naidu settled for package. His fault? He or his party couldn't explain people properly as to why they had to go for package.Instead of concentrating on educating people of the fact, Naidu made statements like “Who ever says Special Status will go to Jail”The moment Naidu settled for package, opposition in the form of Jagan and by then friend turned opposition, Pawan Kalyan, started politicising it. Knowing the truth, both Pawan Kalyan and Jagan individually fooled people in making them believe Naidu settled for package only because he wants to pocket those funds. Jagan further went saying Naidu pawned the special category status for removing his name from Note for vote scam. Propaganda prevailed.U-Turn Babu: Naidu was in Central Govt officially till Feb 2018. Since he was in NDA the opposition and even Pawan Kalyan did good amount of propaganda that he is diluting the battle for special category even after knowing that the concept of Special category doesn't exist. This propaganda, ran for almost an year dented TDP and Naidu's image very badly.Just then, after a year in 2017, tables turned. Centre extended special category status to 11 states (North Eastern States and also 3 hilly states) instead of sticking to it's word. This is clearly a political move by BJP party in power to woo North Eastern state voters since assembly elections were due in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura by 2018.Naidu obviously felt cheated. Being in NDA he started fighting with BJP asking for at least the same for AP akin to North Eastern States. By this time, it's almost an year opposition was cornering Naidu on AP SCS (Special Category Status). This sudden change in Naidu's tone who once said “SCS is a closed deal” or “SCS means Jail” to now “SCS is AP's right!” became a weapon in opposition's hand. If you don't know this genuine reason in the background for his U-Turn, you will obviously believe the opposition and feel Naidu started his fight to save his face and in quest of power. Propaganda by opposition both in media and on social media clearly made people of AP believe that. Also for people of AP, it had seemed opposition is honest in their fight for SCS demand since they were stuck to one thing they believed in.Complete fall out with BJP: Naidu inorder to show something concrete to people of AP before asking for votes, (Also no doubt, he would save funds by giving contracts to his people like any other political party.) took the responsibility of Polavaram. This was when he accepted Special Package and was in good terms with BJP.The tenders were made at increased cost of 25% like they were done with Pattiseema project on a condition that the project will be delivered without delay and to the date he wants (may be before elections). This is normal in any business. U want them to work more, u pay more cause the increased labour cost for a company won't come for free. But the BJP, since the fall out, started showing this as corruption and stopped funds. The project didn't proceed at the pace Naidu wanted. Now he doesn't have anything to show to people. Similarly from the time Naidu started the fight, funds for back ward areas, infact the deficit amount in Budget to be filled by Central Govt was not given to him from 2017.(U may check the credibility of this by visiting Lok Satha's website) Naidu knows this is in making once he starts fighting. His silence or his softness with BJP in first 3 and half yrs in NDA (which the opposition milked well) was also probably solely to avoid this. But he fell into opposition's trap once he started fighting succumbing to the pressure. From now on everytime he spoke against to BJP, the attack with branding him as U-Turn babu intensified and people kept bringing out his statements when he was in good terms with them. Opposition made sure his words lost credibility even when he spoke truth. So technically, BJP's attack from centre with power in hands, with traditional Modi lovers of Andhra turning against him and also he himself falling into beautifully laid opposition's SCS fight trap Naidu was on back foot for the rest of his period. By the time he came out of NDA, it was already late as people thought opposition was fighting for their rights since 2016 special Package issue but Naidu only came out of NDA in 2018 solely cause of election reason. Which is not true.PK (Pawan Kalyan) affect: Everything about Pawan Kalyan being an ally and turning against was already covered in the previous part of the answer. The Kapu caste now has a separate leader. Apart from those dynamics, Naidu and TDP both were very soft on PK even after he turned against them.Sri Reddy targets PK's mother. PK blames TDP and TDP supported media for this. Yet TDP didn't do anything to prove they were not a part of it. All Lokesh Babu, Naidu's son said was “Nijam nilakada meeda telusthundi” (Time will reveal the truth).PK made a separate fact finding committee which proved Central Govt was the culprit for AP's lack of funds. Yet PK kept blaming Naidu and his party for almost an year. TDP didn't give back in return in the same strength. They didn't even try to set right or disprove all the numerous corruption charges issues raised by him.At every bump they had, Naidu didn't say a word against or in support of PK. He forgot PK's words would affect neutral people as PK was with govt for almost 3yrs. People also believed that Naidu as usual “used” PK for his political gains like he did with other people. They made him Use & Throw Babu.Allying with Congress: This probably is the final nail in the coffin. Naidu dug his own grave by allying with Congress. TDP was born to overthrow Congress. I cannot say how many ways this is indigestible to even hard core TDP fans.Naidu had his calculations. He only had mere 2% excess vote share in 2014. But even when Congress was nearly non-existent in 2014 in Andhra, it got 2% vote share. He tried filling that 2% with this pact. Also, he is against to strong BJP now and since he knows regional parties alone cannot form a govt in Centre, he allied with Congress saying “Being against to Congress was ideological compulsion but now uniting opposition along with congress is democratic compulsion” forgetting Congress is made almost untouchable in most parts of India by BJP's strong campaign.People just didn't buy what he said. It became the greatest weapon in opposition's hands. BJP ,KCR and Jagan together used this to paint him as “political prostitute”. They dug all his old tweets, paper clippings, videos against to Congress and made sure to pull him down forever. He didn't forsee this. He had no startegy to counter this also.Honestly this is probably the greatest mistake by a person who had 40yr political experience. Shows how much he is in vaccum with present social media oriented youth mindset. It wouldn't have been this bad a failure had he gone without allying with Congress. Pure self goal this was. Conclusion:This was very long already. But as the one analysing the reasons I have to give my opinion on what I feel on this overall also. So..yeah… honestly I feel both the Central and the state elections ran on propaganda. It was majorly your propaganda vs Mine. There was no talk of policies and development. Atleast AP state elections were better compared to Central.People judged purely on political aspects. I want to ask every voter of Andhra Pradesh few questions. How is Naidu back stabbing his father-in-law in 1994 related to this election? Did he deliver? Did anyone see any of the statistics of AP Govt under his rule? Like GDP growth rate, Swatch Bharat Rankings of AP, Developmental rankings of AP, Corruption ranking of AP, Happiness index of AP or safetiness index or any other developmental indices?Naidu actually performed better on all of those aspects. Central govt and Credit ratings agencies rankings and data are the base for me to say this. Please take sometime and Google developmental achievements of AP from 2014–2019. Infact I should say Naidu's govt did really great when compared to others despite the challenges of deficit budget and income loss due to lack of a capital city.Having a feeling after this decimation in election and considering age of Mr.Naidu, 2014–19 would be his last term. Probably the last of first development oriented politician or CM in India. People, in this election voted for Welfare over Development. I hope there comes a day where voter does research and believes in data and statistics over political agendas, development over welfare programmes and authenticated news over social media messages to vote in any forth coming elections.ByPV :)

In the film, Clark Kent learns that he is a superpowered alien from the planet Krypton and assumes the role of mankind's protector as Superman, but finds himself having to prevent General Zod from destroying humanity.Development began in 2008, when Warner Bros. took pitches from comic book writers, screenwriters, and directors, opting to reboot the franchise. In 2009, a court ruling resulted in Jerry Siegel's family recapturing the rights to Superman's origins and Siegel's copyright. The decision stated that Warner Bros. did not owe the families additional royalties from previous films, but if they did not begin production on a Superman film by 2011, then the Shuster and Siegel estates would be able to sue for lost revenue on an unproduced film. Producer Christopher Nolan pitched Goyer's idea after story discussion on The Dark Knight Rises, and Snyder was hired as the film's director in October 2010. Principal photography began in August 2011 in West Chicago, Illinois, before moving to Vancouver and Plano, Illinois.Oz the Great and PowerfulOz the Great and Powerful is a 2013 American fantasy adventure film directed by Sam Raimi and produced by Joe Roth, from a screenplay written by David Lindsay-Abaire and Mitchell Kapner. Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, with a returning cast of allies: Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. The film introduces Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy). Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, merciless revolutionary Bane forces an older Bruce Wayne to resume his role as Batman and save Gotham City from nuclear destruction.Christopher Nolan was hesitant about returning to the series for a second time, but agreed after developing a story with his brother and Goyer that he felt would conclude the series on a satisfactory note. Nolan drew inspiration from Bane's comic book debut in the 1993 "Knightfall" storyline, the 1986 series The Dark Knight Returns, and the 1999 storyline "No Man's Land". Filming took place from May to November 2011 in locations including Jodhpur, London, Nottingham, Glasgow, Los Angeles, New York City, Newark, and Pittsburgh. Nolan used IMAX 70 mm film cameras for much of the filming, including the first six minutes of the film, to optimize the quality of the picture. A vehicle variation of the Batplane and Batcopter termed the "Bat", an underground prison set, and a new Batcave set were created specifically for the film. As with The Dark Knight, viral marketing campaigns began early during production. When filming concluded, Warner Bros. refocused its campaign: developing promotional websites, releasing the first six minutes of the film, screening theatrical trailers, and sending out information regarding the film's plot. The Dark KnightThe Dark Knight is a 2008 superhero film directed, produced, and co-written by Christopher Nolan. In the film, Bruce Wayne / Batman (Bale), Police Lieutenant James Gordon (Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart) form an alliance to dismantle organized crime in Gotham City, but are menaced by a criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Ledger) who seeks to undermine Batman's influence and create chaos.Nolan's inspiration for the film was the Joker's comic book debut in 1940, the 1988 graphic novel The Killing Joke, and the 1996 series The Long Halloween, which retold Two-Face's origin. The "Dark Knight" nickname was first applied to Batman in Batman #1 (1940), in a story written by Bill Finger.[4][5] The Dark Knight was filmed primarily in Chicago, as well as in several other locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. Nolan used IMAX 70 mm film cameras to film some sequences, including the Joker's first appearance in the film. Warner Bros. initially created a viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screenshots of Ledger as the Joker. Ledger died on January 22, 2008, some months after the completed filming and six months before the film's release from a toxic combination of prescription drugs, leading to intense attention from the press and movie-going public. The Great GatsbyThe Great Gatsby is a 2013 romance drama film based on F. It depicts a dystopian future in which reality as perceived by most humans is actually a simulated reality called "the Matrix", created by sentient machines to subdue the human population, while their bodies' heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source. Cybercriminal and computer programmer Neo learns this truth and is drawn into a rebellion against the machines, which involves other people who have been freed from the "dream world."The Matrix is known for popularizing a visual effect known as "bullet time", in which the heightened perception of certain characters is represented by allowing the action within a shot to progress in slow-motion while the camera's viewpoint appears to move through the scene at normal speed. The film is an example of the cyberpunk subgenre. It contains numerous references to philosophical and religious ideas, and prominently pays homage to works such as Plato's Allegory of the Cave, Jean Baudrillard's Simulacra and Simulation and Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The Wachowskis' approach to action scenes drew upon their admiration for Japanese animation[8] and martial arts films, and the film's use of fight choreographers and wire fu techniques from Hong Kong action cinema influenced subsequent Hollywood action film productions. The Secret in Their EyesSecret in Their Eyes is a 2015 American psychological thriller film written and directed by Billy Ray and a remake of the 2009 Argentine film of the same name, both based on the novel La pregunta de sus ojos by author Eduardo Sacheri. What are some of the mind-blowing facts about the Baahubali movie?

Firstly thanks a tonne for asking this question, I was wondering where I could spill my opinion and knowledge of the film, Guess it’s the right opportunity. But please do consider reading the whole thing and comment if possible. I wouldn't mind even if you rule me as an illogical mind since I’m an amateur writer looking to improve.Intro"Baahubali" has been the most awaited film at Tollywood since its commencement way back in July,2013. After the promoters of the film have launched the much awaited first look posters and the stupendous trailer a month ago, baahubali has caught up the national intrest much to the prediction of karan Johar, who said that the film needed a pan Indian appeal. To be frank i have been following the film since the makers launched a first look video of the lead actor way back in September 2013. And i have gathered enough knowledge about the film since then.Mythology is my greatest passion and i was utterly interested in the project which could well do justice to my hunger of watching Indian mythology on the big screen. The MakingWell, Ever since the trailer released, the mammoth scale of the film has been no secret. Just a few key points to note:-· 1year of pre-production, 2years for the shoot, 6moths of post-production.· A trade mark fact, "17vfx companies, and 600vfx artists". Honourable mention being TAU films that boasts of working for “life of Pi”; X-men ; Avatar.· 1000workers for 200days on 20acres to build the kingdom.· Vigorous training for the lead actors in martial arts, horse riding and sword fighting by trained experts from Vietnam under the guidance of stunt choreographer Peter Hein.· 250crores Budget(including for that of 40% of second part)· 70% of the film was shot at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.· Other locations being: Rock Gardens, Andhra; Athirapally falls, Kerala; Mahabaleshwar ; Bulgaria.· Arri Alexa XT Digital camera was used. (used in holly blockbuster James Bond: Skyfall)· 90% of film has VFX.· An approximate measure states that the VFX footage in particular shots costed Rs5000/second.· 2000 Body Builders;1000 other artists ;1000 workers;200-250Horses;more than a dozen elephants were involved in the war sequence which was shot for 120working days.· A 100foot statueof the films antagonist, Rana Daggubati was specially erected at RFC, Hyderabad, which can be seen in trailer.· The water falls shown in the trailer is 3miles long, a technically sound Pete draper of Makuta graphics created it to fulfil the directors desire.· A New language known as “kiliki” was invented for the film by writer Madhan karky, with around 750words and new grammar rules!!!· The pre-release business stands at 160crore, highest for any feature film in India. The TrailerThe trailer of the film is a significant turning point for the films promotion. In fact the trailer has taken films image to next level and also reached a diverse group of audience much to the delight of the producers. Its ravishing visuals, haunting background score have received rave reviews from critics and viewer’s alike. Keeping up with the unprecedented hype, the trailer crossed 1 crore views over the internet within a week. And here’s something which I opine, going by SS Rajamouli’s past works his movie trailers are always aimed at giving the synopsis of the film which is to be released, undoubtedly the same routine was followed for this magnum opus as well. But then Rajamouli also has a tendency to undermine the trailers look not to allow the audience to build over expectations. If that holds true it proved opposite for baahubali film. Going by above facts I felt that the trailer we watched is only 50% of the what the film is going to offer. I would also like to add, there were atleast 250horses and another dozen of elephants used for the war sequence. Any film maker would love to boast it off in the trailer, imagine hundreds of men riding horses, a trade mark shot for any epic movie trailer. Further, 10giant catapult structures used for throwing large chunks of rocks at enemy lines were built, we see them nowhere expect for small glimpses in making videos. So this indeed suggests that if you were amazed by the trailer, better book for at least two shows on july10th because SS Rajamouli will once again work his magic to shy your expectations. The Leaked Video ControversyAround 6months back, a video of the film spanning for around 10min was leaked on the internet, the baahubali team acted quick and smart to curb its circulation. Ironically, I who admired the film so much received the alleged video through a social platform. I watched the video thinking it was some fan made trailer but it turned out to be original yet unedited footage of the film( like without bgm,cg work etc.) . I really felt an adrenaline rush looking at those episodes but also felt very sad for the incident and immediately deleted the video, also requested few of my friends not to circulate it, if at all they received it by any means. So, I really don’t want to discuss/reveal anything I saw from that video, but just felt I could tell what I felt like. It was basically the war sequence that the footage predominantly showcased. There was a particular shot that will surely mesmerize everyone and I’m longing to watch it on the big screen. More than anything about the film I’m very much excited about that particular shot alone which is probably never before seen in any of the periodic films.Bulgaria episodeThis has been in news but apparently no one took any heed for it. The film needed a maize field for a particular shot/sequence. So a maize field was naturally grown in Ramoji film city for around 7-months, unfortunately due to heavy rains in 2014 the field was destroyed. The crew had no option but to travel to Bulgaria which boasts of lush maize fields. But during promotions, none of them spoke about the maize fields in Bulgaria. All they said was that they shot some scenes in snow and it felt like they were deliberately holding back the maize field episode which might well form part of the crux of the story. It obviously wouldn't have been for a song or a single shot, because who on earth who take pains to grow an entire maize field for a song or a single shot. Thus watch out for some thrilling episodes in maize fields.Audio ReleaseThe audio of the Telugu version was launched on june13th at Temple city , Tirupathi . It created ripples since more than 50,000people flocked for the event and TV5 channel which grabbed the broadcasting rights soared to an all time high in its TRP ratings at 47.5.The event was tad emotional for the crew as well as had its fun part. The recently concluded Malayalam audio launch was held at kochi. At the same event the distributors of the Malayalam version unveiled the world’s largest film poster, that of baahubali which added yet another laurel to the films trivia by recording their feat at Guinness world records. The music of the film was an instant hit; soon after the release it topped the iTunes as well as Savaan playlists. Also it stood as the best-selling audio cd atamazon.com.What to expectWith each promotional item the expectations around the film are sky rocketing. People started comparing the film to Hollywood. It’s a positive sign, but then if there is one department that will lag behind in the film, it is VFX when compared to Hollywood .The budget of the film is 1/5th of a Hollywood film thus we need to save grace for this aspect alone. Nevertheless the visuals will not be of any sort that you have seen in Indian film history. With that being said, excluding VFX, the film will certainly be on par with Hollywood, in the sense that it will definitely enthral the world audience by a margin. The emotions, art work, cinematography would make an impact that will certainly change the perceptions of world towards Indian cinema.CharacterizationI’m not making any guesses here; whatever I write down below will be exactly what you are going to watch in baahubali film:SS Rajamouli is a wise craftsman who builds characters as though they were born to play that role. Coming to baahubali according to ss rajamouli, the lead characters will depict the following;ü Prabhas And RanaAs shown in the trailer, both Prabhas and Rana will look solid and bulky but they would showcase contrasting features in terms of character. Prabhas is more the thinking guy, Kind at heart but then wouldn’t let his kindness linger his ability to fight against injustice. In simple words his violent actions are only to protect dharma and he takes no pride in killing anyone. He’s the only character in the film who wouldn’t possess any grey shade(in directors words).Rana Daggubati is the exact opposite image of Baahubali (Prabhas). Brutality flows through his blood. He has pride in showing of his skills and hunt down any person who is against him. But then, in contrast to such an aggressive mind he’s much calm and smiling in his outward appearance. Not even his close allies would know what’s running through Bhalladeva’s(Rana) mind , which makes him even more deadly unable to assess his moves.ü Ramya Krishna , Nasser and SatyarajVery little is known about these characters and their relation with main lead. However, whatever is known is well promoted and a common gossip in film circles.Nasser: cunning minister and has that uncrowned bitternessRamya Krishna: Epitome of justice, saviour.Satya raj: slave warrior, honest and duty-bound commander.ü Anushka shetty And Tamanna BhatiaTamanna; Paired opposite to younger prabhas(shivudu) and predominantly occupies much more screen space in 1st part of the film than Anushka.Anushka: Paired opposite to prabhas (baahubali) and showed in a de glam avatar, don’t expect much action from her in this part.Weapons DesigningA lot of research has gone into weapon designing and costumes. Every single aspect from texture to material was given due consideration under guidance of Sabu Cyril.Weapons pose an interesting aspect in the film. The director believes that the weapon is an integral part of human character. Going by that, Prabhas uses sleek and sharp swords which justify his character of keeping justice, and killing only as collateral for the cause. Thus his armour and weapons are elegant yet ordinary.Rana on the other hand carries a swinging mace, adding life to his brutality. For him killing is a sport and thus he boasts of the best and more cruel induced armour. Also Prabhas has the thinking ability even during the toughest of the circumstances in contrast to Rana who lets his rage do the job for him.So folks, if you are a huge fan of blood gushing action episodes, watch out for Rana Daggubati. However don’t rule out the titular character Prabhas whose presence of mind will leave you speechless.ConclusionsNever mind what the critics say, after understanding all the effort that has gone into the film, I would say the film deserved all the hype that it received. Even while I’m typing this the DI work for the film is going on at a studio in Mumbai. Cinematographer Senthil kumar has given his soul for the film. For the past 1week he sleeps for only 2hours a day in order to not cause any hindrance to the mega projects superior quality. The ace film maker SS Rajamouli is a workaholic, it’s been the case for each of his past 9directional ventures, viewers build huge expectations and he somehow manages to reach them, in fact shatter them by a margin. But this time it’s a different challenge since the whole nation is waiting to judge his prolific work. I bet my life on it, the film wouldn’t disappoint. On a remote occasion if the film fails to reach the expectation it wouldn’t do any harm. The film has completed its shoot and thus history was made. A new bench mark has been certainly set by this film. It’s not just “Baahubali: The beginning” but it’s also “SS Rajamouli : The beginning”
