CreditCooper Neill for The New York TimesSANFORD, Fla. — Before Haley Berg was done with middle school, she had the numbers for 16 college soccer coaches programmed into the iPhone she protected with a Justin Bieber case.She was all of 14, but Hales, as her friends call her, was already weighing offers to attend the University of Colorado, Texas A&M and the University of Texas, free of charge.Haley is not a once-in-a-generation talent like LeBron James. She just happens to be a very good soccer player, and that is now valuable enough to set off a frenzy among college coaches, even when — or especially when — the athlete in question has not attended a day of high school. For Haley, the process ended last summer, a few weeks before ninth grade began, when she called the coach at Texas to accept her offer of a scholarship four years later.“When I started in seventh grade, I didn’t think they would talk to me that early,” Haley, now 15, said after a tournament late last month in Central Florida, where Texas coaches showed up to watch her juke past defenders, blond ponytail bouncing behind.“Even the coaches told me, ‘Wow, we’re recruiting an eighth grader,’ ” she said.In today’s sports world, students are offered full scholarships before they have taken their first College Boards, or even the Preliminary SAT exams. Coaches at colleges large and small flock to watch 13- and 14-year-old girls who they hope will fill out their future rosters. This is happening despite N.C.A.A. rules that appear to explicitly prohibit it.The heated race to recruit ever younger players has drastically accelerated over the last five years, according to the coaches involved. It is generally traced back to the professionalization of college and youth sports, a shift that has transformed soccer and other recreational sports from after-school activities into regimens requiring strength coaches and managers.The practice has attracted little public notice, except when it has occasionally happened in football and in basketball. But a review of recruiting data and interviews with coaches indicate that it is actually occurring much more frequently in sports that never make a dime for their colleges.Early scouting has also become more prevalent in women’s sports than men’s, in part because girls mature sooner than boys. But coaches say it is also an unintended consequence of Title IX, the federal law that requires equal spending on men’s and women’s sports. Colleges have sharply increased the number of women’s sports scholarships they offer, leading to a growing number of coaches chasing talent pools that have not expanded as quickly. In soccer, for instance, there are 322 women’s soccer teams in the highest division, up from 82 in 1990. There are now 204 men’s soccer teams.“In women’s soccer, there are more scholarships than there are good players,” said Peter Albright, the coach at Richmond and a regular critic of early recruiting. “In men’s sports, it’s the opposite.”While women’s soccer is generally viewed as having led the way in early recruiting, lacrosse, volleyball and field hockey have been following and occasionally surpassing it, and other women’s and men’s sports are becoming involved each year when coaches realize a possibility of getting an edge.Precise numbers are difficult to come by, but an analysis done for by the National Collegiate Scouting Association, a company that consults with families on the recruiting process, shows that while only 5 percent of men’s basketball players and 4 percent of football players who use the company commit to colleges early — before the official recruiting process begins — the numbers are 36 percent in women’s lacrosse and 24 percent in women’s soccer.Berg at a recent tournament.CreditSarah Beth licksteen for The New York TimesAt universities with elite teams like North Carolina and Texas, the rosters are almost entirely filled by the time official recruiting begins.While the fierce competition for good female players encourages the pursuit of younger recruits, men’s soccer has retained a comparably relaxed rhythm — only 8 percent of N.C.S.A.’s male soccer athletes commit early.For girls and boys, the trend is gaining steam despite the unhappiness of many of the coaches and parents who are most heavily involved, many of whom worry about the psychological and physical toll it is taking on youngsters.“It’s detrimental to the whole development of the sport, and to the girls,” Haley’s future coach at Texas, Angela Kelly, said at the Florida tournament.The difficulty, according to Ms. Kelly and many other coaches, is that if they do not do it, other coaches will, and will snap up all of the best players. Many parents and girls say that committing early ensures they do not miss out on scholarship money.After the weekend in Florida, the coach at Virginia, Steve Swanson, said, “To me, it’s the singular biggest problem in college athletics.”The N.C.A.A. rules designed to prevent all of this indicate that coaches cannot call players until July after their junior year of high school. Players are not supposed to commit to a college until signing a letter of intent in the spring of their senior year.But these rules have enormous and widely understood loopholes. The easiest way for coaches to circumvent the rules is by contacting the students through their high school or club coaches. Once the students are alerted, they can reach out to the college coaches themselves with few limits on what they can talk about or how often they can call.Haley said she was having phone conversations with college coaches nearly every night during the eighth grade.‘It’s Killing All of Us’The early recruiting machine was on display during the Florida tournament, where Haley played alongside hundreds of other teenage girls at a sprawling complex of perfectly mowed fields.A Sunday afternoon game between 14-year-olds from Texas and Ohio drew coaches from Miami, Arizona, Texas and U.C.L.A. — the most recent Division I national champion. Milling among them was the most storied coach in women’s soccer, Anson Dorrance of North Carolina, who wore a dark hat and sunglasses that made him look like a poker player as he scanned the field.Mr. Dorrance, who has won 22 national championships as a coach, said he was spending his entire weekend focusing on the youngest girls at the tournament, those in the eighth and ninth grades. Mr. Dorrance is credited with being one of the first coaches to look at younger players, but he says he is not happy about the way the practice has evolved.Libby Bassett, an assistant at South Carolina, was among hundreds of college soccer coaches at a recent tournament in Sanford, Fla. Many were scouting eighth and ninth graders.CreditSarah Beth Glicksteen for The New York Times“It’s killing all of us,” he said.Mr. Dorrance’s biggest complaint is that he is increasingly making early offers to players who do not pan out years later.“If you can’t make a decision on one or two looks, they go to your competitor, and they make an offer,” he said. “You are under this huge pressure to make a scholarship offer on their first visit.”The result has been a growing number of girls who come to play for him at North Carolina and end up sitting on the bench.“It’s killing the kids that go places and don’t play,” he said. “It’s killing the schools that have all the scholarships tied up in kids who can’t play at their level. It’s just, well, it’s actually rather destructive.”The organizer of the Florida event, the Elite Clubs National League, was set up a few years ago to help bring together the best girls’ soccer teams from around the country, largely for the sake of recruiters. At the recent event, in an Orlando suburb, an estimated 600 college coaches attended as 158 teams played on 17 fields over the course of three days.Scouts were given a hospitality tent as well as a special area next to the team benches, not accessible to parents, to set up their folding chairs. Nearly every youth club had a pamphlet — handed out by a parent during the games — with a head shot, academic records, soccer achievements and personal contact information for each player.While the older teams, for girls in their final two years of high school, drew crowds of recruiters, they were generally from smaller and less competitive universities. Coaches from colleges vying for national championships, like Mr. Dorrance, spent most of their weekend watching the youngest age group.Despite the rush, there is a growing desire among many coaching groups to push back. At a meeting of women’s lacrosse coaches in December, nearly every group session was dedicated to complaints about how quickly the trend was moving and discussions about how it might be reversed. In 2012, the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association proposed rule changes to the N.C.A.A. to curtail early recruiting. But the N.C.A.A. declined to take them up, pointing to a moratorium on new recruiting rules. (At the same time, though, the N.C.A.A. passed new rules allowing unlimited texting and calls to basketball recruits at an earlier age.)Marc Stein's NewsletterHe's covered Jordan. He's covered Kobe. Go behind the N.B.A.'s curtain with the league's foremost expert.“The most frustrating piece is that we haven’t been able to get any traction with the N.C.A.A.,” said Dom Starsia, the men’s lacrosse coach at Virginia. “There’s a sense that the N.C.A.A. doesn’t want to address this topic at all.”In an interview, Steve Mallonee, the managing director of academic and membership affairs for the N.C.A.A., reiterated his organization’s moratorium on new recruiting rules. He said the new rules on texting and calling were allowed because they were a “presidential initiative.”Mr. Mallonee said the N.C.A.A. did not track early recruiting because it happened outside of official channels. He added that new rules trying to restrict the practice would be hard to enforce because of the unofficial nature of the commitments.“We are trying to be practical and realistic and not adopt a bunch of rules that are unenforceable and too difficult to monitor,” he said.Early CommitmentsThe National Collegiate Scouting Association helps athletes navigate the recruiting process. Here is the percentage of N.C.S.A. clients in each sport who received and accepted a scholarship offer before the official recruiting process began.Club Coaches in Key RoleThe early recruiting system has given significant power to club coaches, who serve as gatekeepers and agents for their players.One of the most outspoken critics of this process is Rory Dames, the coach of one of the most successful youth club teams, the Chicago Eclipse. In Florida, Mr. Dames kept a watchful eye on his players between games, at the pool at the Marriott where they were staying. As the 14- and 15-year-old girls went down the water slide, he listed the colleges that had called him to express interest in each one.“Notre Dame, North Carolina and Florida State have called about her,” he said as one ninth grader barreled down the slide.Another slid down behind her. “U.N.C., U.C.L.A. and I can’t even remember who else called me about her,” he said.Mr. Dames said that he kept a good relationship with those programs but that he generally refused to connect colleges with girls before their sophomore year in high school, when he thinks they are too young to be making decisions about what college to attend.Some colleges, though, do not take no for an answer and try to get to his players through team managers or other parents. After one such email was forwarded to him, Mr. Dames shot back his own message to the coach: “How you think this reflects positively on your university I would love to hear.”He did not hear back. Mr. Dames said that when his players wait, they find scholarship money is still available.Most club coaches, though, are more cooperative than Mr. Dames and view it as their job to help facilitate the process, even if they think it is happening too early.Michael O’Neill, the director of coaching at one of the top clubs in New Jersey, Players Development Academy, said that he and his staff helped set up phone calls so his players did not miss out on opportunities. They also tutor the players on handling the process.“You almost have to,” Mr. O’Neill said. “If you don’t, you can get left behind.”Once the colleges manage to connect with a player, they have to deal with the prohibition on making a formal scholarship offer before a player’s final year of high school. But there is now a well-evolved process that is informal but considered essentially binding by all sides. Most sports have popular websites where commitments are tallied, and coaches can keep up with who is on and off the market.Either side can make a different decision after an informal commitment, but this happens infrequently because players are expected to stop talking with coaches from other programs and can lose offers if they are spotted shopping around. For their part, coaches usually stop recruiting other players.“You play this goofy game of musical chairs,” said Alfred Yen, a law professor at Boston College who has written a scholarly article on the topic and also saw it up close when his son was being recruited to play soccer. “Only in this game, if you are sitting in a chair, someone can pull it out from under you.”Girls from the Players Development Academy, a New Jersey club, at the three-day event.CreditSarah Beth Glicksteen for The New York TimesMr. Yen said that colleges withdrew their offers to two boys his son played with, one of whom ended up in junior college and the other at a significantly less prestigious university. Other players who made early decisions went to colleges where they were unhappy, leading them to transfer.The process can be particularly tricky for universities with high academic standards.Ivy League colleges, which generally have the toughest standards for admission, generally avoid recruiting high school freshmen, but the programs do not stay out of the process altogether, according to coaches at the colleges, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the topic.Two Ivy League coaches said they were generally able to look at players with a grade-point average above 3.7 and a score above 2,000 on the College Boards — out of 2,400 — much lower than the standard for nonathlete applicants. Ivy League coaches can put their recruits on a list of preferred candidates given to admissions officers, who in turn help the process along by telling coaches in the summer after an athlete’s junior year whether the player is likely to be admitted — months before other applicants find out.Fearing a Toll on MindsAt the Florida tournament, many players said they had given up all other recreational sports in middle school to play soccer year round.A growing body of academic studies has suggested that this sort of specialization can take a toll on young bodies, leading to higher rates of injury.For many parents, though, the biggest worry is the psychological pressure falling on adolescents, who are often ill equipped to determine what they will want to study in college, and where.These issues were evident on the last morning of the Florida event, on the sidelines of a game involving the Dallas Sting. Scott Lewis, the father of a high school sophomore, said his daughter switched to play for the Sting before this season because her old team was not helping steer the recruiting process enough. He watched scholarship offers snapped up by girls on other teams, he said.“Is it a little bit sick? Yeah,” he said. “You are a little young to do this, but if you don’t, the other kids are going to.”A parent standing next to Mr. Lewis, Tami McKeon, said, “It’s caused this downward spiral for everybody.” The spiral is moving much faster, she said, than when her older daughter went through the recruiting process three years ago.Ms. McKeon’s younger daughter, Kyla, was one of four players on the Sting who committed to colleges last season as freshmen. Kyla spent almost 30 minutes a day writing emails to coaches and setting up phone calls. The coaches at two programs wanted to talk every week to track her progress. He had dedicated his entire existence to protecting the crown and his kingdom and he would give his life for that. Ever since he was a small child he had trained for this and many other guards had grown jealous of him over the years because of his strive for perfection. One day, whilst Bang Chan was doing his normal round through the gardens a younger soldier mocked him and would continue throwing rocks at Bang Chan’s porcelain white armor. Bang Chan eventually loses it all and in blind rage kills the younger soldier in cold blood. After realizing the horrible crime he’d committed, he rode his horse outside of the kingdom so far that no-one would ever be able to trace him back. During that stormy night it only took one slippery mud puddle for him and his horse to tumble into a nearby river and to meet his doom by drowning.Now, he wanders through Tartarus, not searching for an escape from his impeccable nightmare but to help others who also were forced to pay off their sins like him. Deep down inside he will never forgive himself for murdering a fellow soldier and his heart has grown cold over the millennia that he has wandered around the wasteland. He’s very fond of his companion Seungmin but, he’ll never tell the younger boy that in order not to lose his untouchable imagine.Attack:Once challenged to a duel, his blade will grow triple its original size and the feather resting on his helmet would let go of all its dust and look as good as new. He’d plant his sword into the ground and that would send a signal to all horses to rush over and help him. It didn’t matter how far they were, they always made their way to the blade in mere seconds after the attack was activated. The horses would then start circling around their enemy and try to trample them to death and then, once the enemy is distracted by them, Bang Chan uses his sword to pierce their heart. Chan always tries to keep one after the battle is over but it seems like everyone turns their back on him as soon as he isn’t considered useful anymore. Which breaks him even more.Lee Know: The witchBackstory:Lee Know was the son of the village’s doctor. The boy had a burning passion for medicine and he would often sneak up on his father whilst he was mixing various different herbs. When his father died, Lee Know took it upon himself to become the new medic and he would lock himself up for weeks studying all of his father’s notes. He was never a master in the trade of medication but he was good at making potions. One day, he discovered that he had run out of nettle. Normally this would not have been a big deal but, this medicine was for his mother who had a severely high fever. That night, he snuck into his neighbors garden and stole some of her nettle. The old lady noticed in the morning and was fuming in rage. But sadly for him, this wasn’t a normal old lady, she was a witch. That evening after Lee Know fed the mixture to his mother, the old lady came inside his medic quarters asking for tea and to have a small conversation with the boy. When he wasn’t looking, she poured poison into his cup. After not even drinking half of the beverage, Lee Know started turning green and eventually dropped dead on the wooden floor seconds after.Lee Know has accepted his fate a long time ago. But unlike Bang Chan, he doesn’t see everything in black and white but would rather give his world a little more color. He is often found drinking himself to death in the bar or taking a nap in a bush. Probably naked after some bandit stole his clothes again. He knows everyone but at the end of the day, nobody really cares about him like a real friend. Even though he is mostly a jokester who isn’t that much of a brawler, that doesn’t mean that he won’t be rough during battle.AttackWhen he enters attack mode, Lee Know’s dull, black cape gets livid green skulls covering its entirety. A har appears on his head and the gem in his wand begins to glow green. Out of the wand he can shoot dangerous beams that can turn you into dust if you were alive. He also has the ability to fly in the air but he cannot go unbelievably high because he has to divide his energy between using his wand and staying in the air. His wand is his only weapon, literally and figuratively. He is an inexperienced fighter who will only have to rely on luck to leave the battle with none of his bones dislocated. Even though he’s a complete imbecile strategically, if he works well he can deal plenty of damage.Special Attack:At first, he didn’t even know that he had a special attack so when he suddenly feels this power wash over him, he is confused but accepts it immediately. When power takes over him, we get to see a version of Lee Know that you would rather not want to explore. He’ll rise upwards as green smoke starts shooting from the ground towards him. His shut themselves and his veins will turn emerald green. Nothing coherent comes out his mouth anymore, just chants to gain his power. And then, his eyes snap open leaving sparks of green floating in the air and out of his wand he spawns an immense green skull that breathes the smoke of death.Changbin: The DragonBackstoryChangbin grew up in a family that has carried their passion for creating weapons out of pure iron for decades. He clearly wasn’t an exception from his ancestors and his father would gladly accept the aid the young boy gave him. Not that their relationship had ever been a healthy one because the two disagreed on all aspects. Except when they were making weapons. Just like how the warm metal would flow into the mold, their thoughts flowed in each other. Too bad that that perfect period didn’t last long. Changbin began to find passion in other activities such as writing poetry. That didn’t taste well in the mouths of any of his family members. One night, he and his father were arguing about everything and nothing. They were just screaming at one another, not even caring how many insults their words carried. In a moment of wild anger, Changbin grabbed a freshly made sword and stabbed the older man twice. He hurried his body in their backyard. The next day, he went to get their secret recipe for the perfect weapon (Also known as flaming hot lava). He entered the cave and before he knew it, his shoes began to slide and all he could do was scream for the last 10 seconds of his life before burning to nothingness.Unlike what many of the inhabitants of Tartarus think, Changbin isn’t one for working solo. He cares for Han like the boy is his own son and he’d die to protect the younger. He admits it nearly every day and Han returns the favor by telling Changbin how much he means to him. They’re an inseparable duo that will travers storms together. Han is also the only person who can calm Changbin down in time before he starts turning, massaging his shoulders and telling him that this isn’t worth all his energy. But sometimes, Han still fails to keep Changbin’s anger levels low and at those moments, you will have to run away as fast as you can or be prepared for the worst.AttackLuckily, you still have time to sprint away whilst Changbin is entering his attack mode because it takes time. He is also the most vulnerable at those moments and that would be your only chance to strike him hard. If you’re too slow, prepare for the worst, pray for mercy and cross your fingers for a quick and painless hit. Scaled wings will pop out of his back and two horns will grow on his head. In less than a minute he will rise again as a massive dragon, towering over the entire forest. His wings are utter useless since he does not know how he can fly but, they’re mostly used to show dominance and to scare his opponent. He can spew out flames from his mouth like any other dragon and he uses his tail as a whip.Special AttackIf Changbin doesn’t get the victory early, he’ll start throwing a tantrum and if he still does not win, well, accept that you will not be able to live your miserable afterlife normal ever again. He will grow another 2 heads that can also spew fire and his entire body will grow even bigger than it already was. In the special attack mode, he is completely blind to his actions and all his energy comes from pure rage. Strategy? A word that does not exist in his dictionary. He is lucky to be immensely powerful because otherwise he’d be crawling on the ground begging for anyone to give him something but they wouldn’t, because he’s just a man blinded by his rage.Hyunjin: The actorBackstoryHyunjin is a lover of all forms of art. In his past life, he would spend all of his days not just living but being alive in the world he lives in. He would sing out all of his wishes in the morning, during noon he’d paint the local river and in the evening he would tone his poetry under the streetlights to whomever wanted to hear him. His access-point of inspiration was the local theatre where he would perform in front of imaginary audiences who would laugh at his every joke and clap at his every performance. One beautiful morning, a carriage arrived in the town announcing a poetry contest and the winner would earn a bag of 100 golden coins. Hyunjin tried taking a shot but suddenly, it felt as if he had gotten dull and devoid of inspiration. No matter how many times he pierced the pen on the pages of his notebook, not a single word came out. He was desperate, so on the night before you had to submit your poem, he stole one from his best friend. In the end, he won the contest but the looks his friends gave him indicated their pure hatred for him. They chased Hyunjin down until they reached a cliff, Hyunjin had versed his way to the rock, talking about how his life had been a tragedy with no sunlight being let in. In the end, he slipped and fell down, one half of his face being molested by a pointy rock.Hyunjin is a man of business. He will do anything to even get a chance to escape this burning pit of hell, murder included. He prefers to work on his own but once forced to be in companioning of I.N, he starts to learn that it isn’t that bad after all. That doesn’t mean that you can trust him since he always sleeps with one eye open and one hand on his rose. But if you’re nice to him, he might start opening up that heart full of feelings that he has.AttackUnlike our previous 2 characters, Hyunjin relies more on strategy than the luck of a coin flip. He can easily switch over to his attack mode and from then on, he is quite unstoppable. His main power is to create illusions to trick the other battler and to confuse them. When their confusion is at an all time high, Hyunjin pierces them with the thorns of his rose. These illusions can consist of a myriad of things. He could duplicate himself endless times or he would cover the battlefield with a thick layer of smoke only he can see through. His main goal is to have the element of surprise but sometimes, when the audience is too noisy, he snaps.Special AttackHyunjin’s special attack is less of a danger physically but more so to scar you mentally. The entire time, half of his face is hidden by a white mask with only a small hole made for his eye to see through. When he snaps, he takes off the mask and reveals the gruesome horrors hidden beneath it. A bloody nightmare awaits you then, the other half of his face is filled with hundreds of gruesome small tentacles making grabby hands at you. It seems like they took of his skin-suit and left the face to be a gory mess for him to carry forever. Whist you are stunned from shock, he’ll pull out his rose and launch endless amounts of thorns at you at a rapid rate.Han: The CraftsmanBackstory:Han has had a similar life like Changbin. He had been born in a poor family who made their living off of stealing weapons and reselling those but, as time progressed, they started forging their own. Mostly axes or pickaxes used to work with in the mines or to cut trees. It was a fair business and Han was proud to be one of the first owners of it all and to see it grow with his own eyes. But, even after all those years of hard work and to be a full-fledged human, Han still hadn’t stopped his bad habit of stealing. Whenever the money wasn't flowing in constantly, he’d run to see what he could copy from other factories and to use it on their own products. He didn’t do it just because he wanted to keep the business alive anymore, he did it because in his mind, this was pure fun. One peaceful night whilst he had broken into the blueprint room of a rivaling business, a janitor had caught him in the act but Han silenced him with a bullet through the chest. He hurriedly and sloppily hid the body underground and ran away. They knew it was him but dragging him to court would be useless with the status he had so the rivaling factory and Han’s staff plotted against him and when he was sleeping, they threw him into a mold and mushed that into the oven, burning him alive.Han still thinks that he doesn’t deserve to be in Tartarus and that he did nothing wrong. Nothing is ever his fault and his ego tends to stomp the nice him harshly into the ground. That’s how strangers perceive him anyways. Han is very attached to Changbin not only due to their similar lives but also because he feels a special connection with the older boy. Not the type like in love but as if there is something more about the two of them that makes them be together.Attack(Ooh boy, I love this one)Han isn’t the craftsman for no reason. When he enters his attack mode his goggles illuminate the area in a bright blue and from then on there’s no turning back. It’s do or die in his world and he will not back down until he is at the end of his energy. He carries around a belt that in attack mode, carries an unlimited amount of tools and weaponry that will help him get the upper hand every battle. He might not be equally efficient in every weapon that he carries but he does know how to play his game strategically and win everyone idiot who dared to challenge him to a duel. Axes will fly through the air, fishing rods will hook back his enemy closer to him and pickaxes impale the other fighter, Han really is a though cookie to be beaten but that doesn't mean that there are no holes in his system.Special AttackHan rarely uses his special attack because it is never needed. The other brawler will always give up before Han can maximize his power levels to deal immense damage to the other. Once he finally gets the chance to become his ultimate form, he’ll take it. Behind him, two gigantic axes appear, they have blue flames surrounding them and they’re afloat. These would easily be able to split an elephant in two without any inconveniences. Han would then launch the axes towards the other fighter, hoping to make them either burn to the crisp or to turn them into butcher meat. The axes on their own are very powerful but Han can however mess up if he doesn’t practice with them enough and then you can look at how he turns the table against himself.Felix: TenebroseBackstory:——ERROR—ERROR——ERROR——ERROR——HE’S COMING——ERROR——UH OH, IT SEEMS LIKE AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. They tell how the freckled boy would raise to the sky and block all sunlight and the rest they can’t remember, only that it was bad. The only other proven thing about his attack is that he has the ability to summon orbs of darkness and fire those at his victims. But, nobody wants to learn more about his attacks nor experience them since plenty of his previous brawlers had come back with their body but mentally, they were ruined.Special AttackHis special attack is only made up out of faceless rumors and folktales about whom he might have been before coming down to this world. Some claim that his eyes turn fully black whilst others say that horns grow on his head. Nobody knows what his true potential might be and even dropping the name Lee Felix could make some physically sick. The man has laid fear over the entirety of Tartarus and he plans on keeping it that way. Unless, he gets unwanted company…..Seungmin: The UntamedBackstory:Seungmin lived on a farm near a beautiful forest yet, he was spoiled to the max. He would get away with every bad deed he committed and he didn’t even have to work on the field or take out the cows to eat the grass, he lived like royalty. Not only did he treat his older siblings like a plastic bag but his crimes against the animals of the farm were cruel and inhumane. He wouldn’t feed them for days on end just to see what happened. He hated animals ever since the day that their German Shepard bit off part of his ear and he is still craving that sweet revenge. His favorite activity was throwing rocks into the woods to see what happened and one day, he saw that he had hit a young wolf cub, they were dead on the impact but Seungmin just scoffed and left. That night, the entire barn was a complete mess, people were screaming and crying and there was complete chaos. It turned out that the oldest daughter in the family had gone missing and everyone was sent out into the forest to find her. Seungmin was just wondering around nonchalantly, he didn’t even bother searching for her until he suddenly heard a growl coming from behind him. He turned around in an instant only to be met with an entire pack of wolfs growling and barking at him. He tried walking backwards but his back only met a tree and before he could even properly register it, he was laying on the ground with wolves pulling him apart from all sides. No matter how hard he screamed nobody came for him and out all the members, he died the most slow and painful death imaginable.Seungmin was found by Bang Chan when he was severely wounded and couldn't even walk upright anymore. The older boy took care of him and thought him how to control his attack mode. Seungmin would have not survived without Bang Chan and he often tells the older boy how much he means to him but Chan never really responds. Seungmin knows that what he did in the past was wrong and fully accepts his punishment but the thought of getting an escape from this cruel hell keeps on nagging in his head.AttackSeungmin is pretty inexperienced when it comes to battles, that’s why Bang Chan always has to solve his issues for him. But, Bang Chan does train Seungmin to be prepared for when he might be faced with the worst. When he’s transitioning, it might look like he is showing sever symptoms of fainting and he starts sweating entire buckets and finally, he starts to spasm before turning into a hazel-brown wolf. He then isn’t Seungmin any longer but he can keep some of his memories intact which is very good since his entire victory relies on having a good strategy because he is not the strongest and he will never be.Special AttackSeungmin doesn’t even know that he possesses a special attack. He has always thought that he was so weakened that all energy that could have been used for his special attack was used to keep him alive but that was not the truth. Bang Chan just does not want Seungmin to discover the truth because it makes him fear for his life. If Seungmin were to ever break, he has a special card in his backpacker to save him. If he were to use it, he would grow immensely in size, even bigger than the dragon and he would easily be able to swallow the other brawler in one big bite.I.N: The DollBackstory:I.N is more of a shy person compared to others around him. He dreamed of being on stage and performing in front of thousands but he knew that he his knees would give out the second one of his feet stepped on the podium. That’s why he decided to take a different approach. He would make sock-puppets and instead of having to show his face, he could still perform without the horrible pressure he’d feel. He was very successful in his shows, many came from far just to watch him hold up two puppets and give them funny voices whilst they were experiencing a new interesting story. One day, whilst he was walking home from another long performance, he came across a window. Through the window he could see a small doll lying on a table, it was truly beautiful. I.N wanted to hold the doll himself so he broke into the house, grabbed the doll and managed to get away unseen, at least, he thought so. The inhabitant of the house was an old wizard, he was very displeased with what the younger boy had done and when he realized that I.N did it just so he himself could feel better, he snapped. He tracked the performer down and the next think I.N knew, he was stuck in a small glass cage with the walls moving closer and closer to him. This wizard had no mercy on him and watched as every bone in I.N’s body was crushed.Out of all the members, I.N looks the most creepy yet docile as well. He looks like a voodoo doll and his skin is made out of actual wool that is hold by each other through red ribbons. It seemed like he always smiled and that he wouldn’t even dare to hurt someone since he was always humming to songs and picking flowers. I.N docile? Forget it, he doesn’t mind to torture anyone who dares to mock him in the slightest. He often takes care of himself alone but he will never tell anyone how he secretly watches from afar as other villains battle and he’ll fall in awe for their skills.AttackSince I.N is kept together by wool, his main attack is centered around him using wool or pieces of thread to strangle the other contestant. The red fabric will seemingly rise out of the ground and he will strategically fire them at the other to trap them in a ball of yarn. He can not only use this against another fighter but also use it as a shield to protect himself from the other’s attacks. If he wants to, he can create yarn pillars which he can use to have the high-ground but, I.N is a man for a fair battle. He likes to give the other battler a chance before completely crushing them.Special AttackI.N’s special attack may seem harmless on the surface but it can be used to deal plenty of damage in the end. When I.N feels like he might lose the battle, he will curl himself up in a cocoon and a few minutes later, he will bust upon releasing gigantic yarn balls. Those are controlled by I.N himself and it will be a cat and mouse came with the wool. It isn’t very impressive compared to the others but with I.N’s fox-like personality, he’ll surely win.In general the ff is about SKZ who are trying to escape a horrible wasteland where they aren’t in hell nor in heaven and they have to find na escape hidden somewhere. They come across many dangers and will have to face each other off in battle and it’s supposed to be resemblant to the Lord Of the Rings movies but I can’t bring myself to write it because I will probably stretch out the story for way too long with boring dialog. Maybe one day we’ll finally get a story centered around this who knows when I stop procrastinating? Also, these characters are not to be used in any other ff except my own so do not copy me please.Enjoy your day/night :3
