My last “important” medication cost $700.00. That’s one medication for seven hundred dollars. I need more than one medication. So, I can at least understand people who skimp on their medications.Ask, respectfully…I would, in kindness, ask what the patient’s reasons are. I would also ask if their medicine is too expensive or if it bothers them, because bothersome symptoms are another reason for non-compliance.What they tell you may not be the truth, but I would not assume that it's just “making up excuses for irresponsibility.”That attitude is off putting.Try an attitude of interest and genuine kindness—it may work wonders!Thank you for the A2A
