God forbid his ideas ruin YOUR dream wedding!To the parents:Taking advantage and picking the most expensive and elaborate of everything because they’re footing the bill.To the bridesmaids:Asking them to lose weight, get a haircut, dye their hair, or whatever to modify their appearance so they don’t “ruin pictures.”To the vendors, wedding planner, etc:Always sending angry follow-up emails or calls after one day of no response. A difficult bride believes she is their only client.To the guests:Adding only $150+ items to the gift registry.If she says this to anybody:“This is MY day!”

Should you do it with your parents watching or your wedding planner book on your lap? How about wearing your wedding dress? Carrying the bouquet? Really?Why not? It sounds to me as if the important decision is already made.

The messy and utterly stupid wedding planning by the so called “Wedding planners”.My cousin’s wedding was planned by these planners only and it annoyed me to no extent. Let me tell you what happened.On the day of wedding, when the bride arrived at the venue, everybody was very curious to see her(As commonly seen). But a moron(Wedding planner) entered the venue just before her and asked everyone to step out of the way. He was wearing this,And talking to his staff. He was continuously saying this thing,“Please step aside. The bride is about to enter. Don’t cause discomfort to her in her path!”Yes, because in weddings with no wedding planning, people actually do this to the bride when she enters,Isn’t it?And then the bride finally arrived. She was wearing a very elaborate dress with a cylindrical structure under her lehanga like this,And the cylindrical structure was very much evident from the outside. She was barely able to walk. Two small girls were holding her long lehanga from behind and 5 small girls were walking ahead of her dressed like angel.Till this day, I am confused about that bridal dress.They also hired a radio jockey to entertain people(In Mahila sangeet(dance ceremony) before wedding). He was annoying the hell out of all of us instead. After every dance, he would stop the dancer and ask him/her the same question,“What is your name?”. and,“Are you married?”My question is,“Why are you asking such questions? Do you want to marry him/her as you are not finding a girl/guy for yourself?”And yes, we know the name of the person and marital status of the person in question. No need to tell us. And those who don’t know it. they are not at all interested in it.Also, the culture of dance learning through a teacher literally bugs me a lot. Earlier, everyone use to dance independently and with utmost freedom. Be it a 50 kg boy or a 500 kg aunty.Now, that 50 kg boy dances like Hrithik Roshan and that 500 kg old aunty breaks the f#cking stage because she cannot dance but is asked to jump during the dance which ultimately results in the demise of our beloved stage!This over-dramatisation of Indian weddings by these crappy wedding planners is the thing I am tired of seeing.AK
