Not a parent, but when my sister was in preschool I got a strange phone call once when I was home for an institute day.Her teacher informed me that my sister, O, was upset and possibly in pain. She was trying to go to the bathroom, but began crying.The teacher went into the bathroom to help her out, but my sister continued to cry.The teacher went to help her undress for the potty, but as soon as she touched O the crying got worse and she began to scream.She finishes explaining this to me and says that someone needs to pick her up. O is clearly in immense pain and the teacher cannot do anything.When I got to school, I went into the bathroom. I went over to my sister, who was still hysterically crying, and I just stared in confusion.I went to help her undress; I pulled down her pants and underwear.Her screaming got louder, I was hurting her. Something was weird.So I pulled down her underwear. I thought to myself: Mom left for work early today so O must have dressed herself before Dad dropped her off.Still screaming, I pulled down her underwear.Now before you think I’m crazy and don’t know how to tell a story, I’ll confirm that this was now the third pair of underwear I had taken off of my sister.She had dressed herself that morning in 23 pairs of underwear. I have never seen a bigger, thicker, redder underwear rash than I saw that day.As funny as that was, I was very annoyed that I had to go in to solve that problem.Edit: My sister was never sexually assaulted. She is not emotionally disturbed. She is an indecisive goofball. This is totally in-character for her.
