Why Do Our Customer Upload Us

I downloaded the free, trial version of the CocoDoc Tunesgo utility to my laptop, which is running under the Windows 10 operating ssystem, as a first step in checking out the backup and restore functionality for my Samsung Galaxy A5 mobile phone. Installation of the product was fairly straightforward, and the instructions for setting up the required "developer mode" on my mobile device were easy to follow, taking into account that I am reasonably computer-literate. By way of a simple, initial test, having successfully created a PC backup of a small number of unimportant files. I then deleted the files from the mobile device. However, when I attempted to restore the files from the PC backup, the CocoDoc utility advised that I needed to purchase the product in order to do so. This experience leads me to believe that some people might be forgiven for concluding that for the unwary there is small element of ransomware built into the "trial" version, and that it might be better for the provider to make crystal clear that their "trial" version does not actually support the all-important restore-from-backup functionality. Perhaps a better approach might be for the product's provider to offer a trial version with full functionality for, say, a 30-day period.
