I'm guessing that you're referring to drawing pencils, so I'm answering with that in mind.First off, I've drawn many pictures using just a good old #2 pencil. I didn't even know that there were other options until I was a young adult.Here's what I've got in my drawing toolbox.I use my Prismcolor pencils for sketching and when I'm traveling. They're cheap enough to replace, that I don't get mad when I inevitably drop them and break the lead inside, or lose them.The Rexel Cumberlands are more expensive, and are better quality than the Prismcolors. The lead is more durable and the finish is much smoother. I used these for classes and for drawings that were going into art shows.That is, until I found these bad boys:These Hi-uni pencils are awesome! I discovered them a few years ago, and have been a faithful convert ever since. Its a big set, and I don't usually use every pencil when I'm drawing. However, this set goes from 10B-10H, which provides a lot of options, and I like options. I especially love the super-soft 10B for my darkest darks. These pencils just lay down so beautifully. Not to mention the fact, that after dropping these pencils, I haven't had to resharpen them a million times because the lead broke and kept falling out. These pencils aren't even crazy expensive. I think I found my set for around $35.There are many other options out there. I've heard great things about Japanese Tombow Mono and Faber-Castell pencils, which are both reasonably priced options.I'll be interested to see what pencils other artists like to use.This is my latest work in progress. In Kulon Progo Regency has nice nature and nice waterfall such as Kedung Pedut, Kembang Soka, Kali Biru view point and selfie spot. In Bantul Regency there are so many Wisata Alam, Hutan Pinus, Nice Sunrise View Point “Panguk Kediwung”, Pantai Parangtritis, Gurun Parangkusumo and etc. and down city of Yogyakarta there are Keraton Yogyakarta, Tamansari pusat perbelanjaan Maliobor, Bakpia Pathuk, and a lot art works such as biennale.The food’s price in Yogyakarta cheaper if compared with another city and has so many variety, these are caused by so many ethnic living in Yogyakarta and they are brought the distinctive dishes here. Rendang, coto makassar, es pisang ijo, bika ambon, ayam taliwang, and origin dish of yogyakarta is Gudeg.Easy going to everywhere, you can just driving by motorcycle or laisurely stroll, usually for teenagers and youngers coming to Alun Alun Kidul just for hangout or playing the myth game, that game is “masangin” (masuk di antara dua pohon beringin). The myth is if you able Passing through between both of banyan trees, then your wish or your dream will be came true. Who Knows ……So, what your purpose are? you may make a decision accordint to your passion, you want to lives in yogyakarta for studying? or just travelling? or make a homestay business?
