Okay, before talking about Anurag Kashyap and Payal Ghosh, lets talk about two cases in India which generally people don't talk about.Manav Singh Suicide CaseSo basically, this event took place during the BoysLockerRoom controversy where many boys who were mostly students were spreading hate on women, used abusive words against them and made remarks on rape etc.So, a girl, accused Manav Singh of raping her. She kept on posting the harassments she faced on her social media accounts without even filing a complaint or going to higher authorities.As a result, due to people bashing out against Manav and calling him rapists, he committed suicide.Surprisingly, the girl just said, “If he couldn't handle the pressure, it's his fault”.So, yeah, a life was lost, and still he is not proved to a rapist.Saravjeet Singh Harassment caseI hope you all have heard about this one.Basically, in 2015, a girl named Jasleen Kaur, a former St. Stephens College student, shared a Facebook post where she accused Saravjeet of verbally harassing her at the Tilak Nagar traffic signal in West Delhi; the incident made national headlines.As a result, media houses, started posting his pics and kept accusing him and mentally harassing him. The woman was called 'Brave'He was arrested and when it came to court, Jasleen never attended any hearings. We all know why. Anyways, after a long await, Saravjeet was declared not guilty. But it's of no use because no company was ready to offer him job, he was mentally depressed and soon marked by the society.Now coming to Anurag Kashyap and Payal Ghosh case.So, basically, Payal Ghosh claimed that she was sexually harassed by Anurag Kashyap.Now, there can be two possibilities :Payal Ghosh is lyingThere is possibility that she is lying. I don't exactly know the reason but I am putting forward my theories (just opinions):She wants attention and wants people to know that she exists in the film industry. She just wants attention so that people watch her future films.BJP can be involved in this. Look, I politically support no party because to me, all are shit. But maybe, since Anurag Kashyap speaks a lot against BJP, maybe it can be a possibility.This incident took place a few days after Anurag Kashyap and Kunal Kamra visited Republic TV Workplace and gifted Arnab Goswami, a chappal. So, maybe, they can be involved.I just wanna say that if Payal Ghosh is lying, strict action should be taken against her.Payal Ghosh is saying the truthThere is also possibility that she is actually harassed by Anurag Kashyap.We actually don't know Anurag Kashyap as a person. Maybe, he is a good director but that doesn't qualifies him as a good person.And many female celebrities have came to support him. I just want to say, he has been good to you all doesn't means he can't be bad to someone.If actually, he has sexually harassed her, I just wish the judiciary punishes him the same way, it would have done to a common guilty man.Being celebrity doesn't qualify you to be special.My take:Personally, I don't give a damn if Payal Ghosh is jailed or Anurag Kashyap is jailed. I have many things better to do in my life than getting curious about what happened. Just an advice to school students, don't get too much involved in celebrity shit. Neither they will feed you, nor they gives a damn about you. Just enjoy your life, study and be successful.Just watch their films and appreciate them if they are good, don't treat them as idols.Now, anyone who thinks, I don't support women's accusations, go and check my profile, and read some of my answers on this topic to get yourself clear.The reason I said about those two cases in my answer is just to say that every man is not a rapist. If a girl accuses someone, that doesn't means she is always right.Most people in our country already declares a man 'rapist' once he is accused when maybe he is innocent. This ruins his family reputation, his career and at some point, his life.I really hate domestic violence, rape, harassments of any form but it's applicable for a man, woman, gay, lesbian and any other gender form.So, I just request you all to see both sides of the coin.I hope I don't lose any Quora friends here. That seems likely.Considering the doozy of a letter that he wrote for this other person who I know well, it’s hard to imagine that he even knows how to write a supportive recommendation letter. - Tenure denial, seven years laterProfessors who write form letters, just changing the name of students.

Recently some WhatsApp chats were leaked where it’s clear that the VC of Allahabad University Prof. Rattan Lal Hangloo approached a woman and slowly started to form a bond where he was promising her a job as the professor at the University and asked her to be in a live-in relationship with him as he is not happy with his wife. He denied the existence of such messages, and after that a call record was released to the media where we can clearly listen to what exactly he was saying.There’s also a background story, months after he became the VC of Allahabad University in 2016, the Women’s Advisory Board received sexual harassment complaints against him from the previous university he was in. The then head of the board (retired but acting since they received it during holidays) luckily kept the original copy with her and left the photocopy there so that appropriate actions can be taken but the VC diluted the powers of the board instead. Since that time, he has received multiple sexual harassment complaints against professors, asst. professors, etc. from different departments and he did nothing about it. Now, those professors are supporting the VC too.I know a faculty member who forced a woman research scholar to kiss him in order to get her forms signed; also there’s a professor who touches male students inappropriately. I won’t name them as they’ll make their students’ lives miserable. Luckily, some student leaders are protesting against the VC, but it seems nothing is going happen. Maybe sharing this story will help the institution get rid of such people.
