Some of the responses here suggest that ordering a cake for the marriage of a gay couple is the same as a christian going to a gay baker and ordering a cake saying “Homosexuality is a sin”. It’s not: The former makes no comment about the baker or their community, the latter is an attack on the group of people that baker belongs to (the same as a gay person ordering a cake saying “All christians are bigots”, which is patently untrue and a clear, bigoted attack).Imagine the outcry were a gay baker to refuse to decorate a cake for an evangelical christian church simply because evangelical christian churches are typically anti-gay?Imagine that an interracial couple were to be refused a cake for their wedding, because the baker believes interracial marriage against his beliefs? Few would hesitate for a second to say that this is bigotry.Imagine a muslim being refused a cake with the words “Allāhu akbar” (الله أكبر), meaning “God is great” on it. That’s clearly bigotry and even if some people feel it’s OK to attack muslim people, society (even in this charged atmosphere) would generally oppose the right to do so.Why is it so difficult to imagine that a gay couple should be able to have the same rights to buy a wedding cake as a straight couple? They’re not making any more impact on a christian baker’s life than asking for a “Hilary is great” cake would have on a Trump-supporting baker’s life: It’s physically no different in work than any other wedding cake, it just that the customer’s identity and the fact that the baker has to write two male names on the cake contradicts the baker’s beliefs.Once we start arguing that certain groups of people have fewer rights in commerce than others, we start saying that some people are worth less than others. The reality is that it’s still socially OK in some communities to hate LGBT people and it’s still politically OK to fight against LGBT rights.It was OK to denigrate people of other races a few decades ago, it was OK to say that women were worth less than men within recent enough memory. Luckily, whilst racists and misogynists are still plentiful enough, society generally recognises that acting that way is bigoted. I look society generally recognises that being bigoted to LGBT people is not acceptable.Religious people shouldn’t be discriminated against, but nor should they be able to discriminate against others because of their beliefs. Seems only fair, doesn’t it?

The Christian Church runs thousands of educational institutions and hospitals which have contributed significantly to the development of the nation2) Hospitals : Lots of hospitals and christian medical colleges across the country3) Nursing profession : Most of the nurses were from the christian community because many considered it as an unclean profession. Christians consider it as a service.4) Social work : Revolutionaries like mother theresa etc although accused of conversion , worked hard in the midst of people ignored by everyone else. Today you can find atleast one christian who is in the helm of most such organisations , orphanages , old age homes etc.5) Model for other communities : Christian areas generally have the highest literacy , higher hdi , women have lesser children are more educated . Some areas have good sex ration.It also provided a sense of integrity between tribes and communities. It is the religion which integrated the tribes. If you mean how do they dress , well typical christain women (majority of them are of Punjabi ethnicity ) wear Pakistani national dress ‘ Shalwaar Qameez ‘ like their Muslim counterparts , it's Punjab’s traditional dress too . Christian women usually cover their heads with scarfs /dupatta during prayers at churches in Pakistan like other eastern christain communities .Christian makes up 9 % of rular Lahore population , which is highest percentage of christains in Pakistan .
