What is the architecture of Paytm?

That's a loaded question. I look to write a detailed answer later once we have made more permanent architecture. For now we have been keeping up with the growth by adding more machines. To deliver, surety, availability, security and speed we use AWS and large pool of dedicated servers hosted in Datacenter's in Delhi and Mumbai. We use multiple tech frameworks including Ruby on Rails, Node.js , PHP/ Python and Java. Our payments and few key components are behind PCI-DSS security walls.HTH for now.

What is the Wetiko virus and how can it be stopped?

* * * * *I’m going to dance around the idea of Wetiko without defining it.I’ve been four months choreographing this little dance —— let’s see where it leads.PART 1Consider prions. They are proteins that, once a single molecule reaches the brain, begins to alter the scaffolding of the brain. The brain tissue develops hollow spaces which are ultimately lethal — but in the meantime we observe greatly altered behavior by the victim. Examples include mad cow disease and similar afflictions in deer, rabbits, cats, humans…If the infected brain tissue is consumed and any of those prion proteins are absorbed undigested — the process starts again in a new victim.Prions are a transmissible neurodegenerative disease. What we have is something that is infectious but non-viral, non-bacterial, non-parasitic.It corrupts the architecture of the physical brain, and thereby corrupts the architecture of the mind itself.* * * * *What other things might corrupt the architecture of a mind? What, indeed, does Lenzo even mean by “architecture of mind?”PART 2Consider the beatings that many of us received as children. These beatings can (and often do) result in complex maladaptions of behavior. Things like low self-esteem or depression. Or perhaps a short-fuse for violent/intemperate reactions. Anxiety. General stress. A psychologist might group these together into a syndrome: PTSD.All forms of physical and mental abuse (including neglect) can result in life-long PTSD.Parents with PTSD are, on the average, stressed. Stressed parents pass their stress along to their children in three different epigenetic ways:before conception via something called methylation-of-parental-dna.in utero, due to the mother’s stress hormones &/or any “self-medicating” drugs/alcohol she is using during pregnancy.during childhood, through abuse and neglect. That all three of these occur is scientifically well-verified. PTSD is another example of what we might call a “cooked” architecture of mind passing from one generation to the next. Like prions, PTSD is infectious, non-viral, and non-bacterial. Yet it is highly transmissible to future generations.A powerful and seminal work which discusses cross-generational maladaptive behavior is Alice Miller’s — “The Drama of the Gifted Child.”PART 3The reason I like the expression “cooked architecture of mind” is the metaphor of the hard-boiled egg: It is easy to boil an egg, but impossible to unboil it.Yet imagine: if a cooked egg were able itself to ”to cook” any other egg that it came into contact with — ooof!!* * * * *They say that heroin is such a powerful drug that your entire life will henceforth be cleanly divided in two: Everything that you thought you knew of yourself and the world before discovering heroin — and everything since. They say that once you have injected heroin you will never be able to get it out of your mind. It cooks the mind so perfectly — than one can never remember what life was like before knowing this drug. And it’s infectious: most newcomers to heroin are introduced to it by “those already in the know.”PART 4Two years ago, the company DeepMind released a new program evolved to play the ancient game of Go at a very high level. The program was called AlphaGo. It was neural network trained to mimic how the great human masters played. Then, the trained program was allowed to play against itself tens of thousands of times, gradually evolving a better and better style of play. The resultant program quickly defeated the strongest living player, Lee Sedol, four games to one. However, the scientists at DeepMind were concerned that they had “forced” AlphaGo to play (and think) like a human would.Question: What style of play would a neural-net evolve, if it were free to teach itself how to play go??And thus began a new research project. The new neural net, called AlphaZero, was allowed to play itself millions of times. The resulting program was far stronger than AlphaGo. A large set of games were released in which AlphaZero played against AlphaGo as well as playing games against itself. It was as if aliens had landed on planet earth to teach us how to play our most complex and most ancient of games. What happened was that, once freed from “thinking like a human” — AlphaZero was able to evolve and adopt new ways of perceiving the game, cultivating its own entirely new “taste” for shape, texture, dynamic, and flexibility.Once the neural net was released from the cage of human-thinking it evolved an entirely new, even alien, architecture of mind.* * * * *With this success under their belt, DeepMind allowed AlphaZero to teach itself chess, starting from absolute scratch. In four days time, it became the strongest player in the history of the game.To show you the uniqueness of its style of play (and presumably its architecture of mind) — I can think of no better example than the following game, annotated so emotively by Anna Rudolf —Unburdened by six centuries of tradition, AlphaZero finds a completely novel move for black at move 4 in one of the oldest openings known to man (the Giuoco Piano) and proceeds to win with it against Stockfish 8, at that time the strongest chess engine in the world (stronger than any human).Needless to say, AlphaZero goes on to crush Stockfish 8 in a 1000-game match — and nobody has any idea how it thinks or plays. It is completely free of all human tradition, bias, or limitation.Once again, it was if aliens had landed on earth — just to teach us how to play our most beloved complex game.PART 5Each culture on our planet conveys to its children the essential ingredients of that culture. Primarily, it teaches its children to think like their parents do. This much is obvious. What is less obvious is that during the early development of our minds (which begins before birth and continues throughout our childhood) — the fundamental architecture is laid down. There are things that we discover and there are things that we are taught. Together, these early “lessons” shape our further growth. We learn that we live in a 3-dimensional world. We learn about time; our minds become functional in 4-dimensions.We learn to fear various things (some cultural). We learn many other abstractions — like rules, responsibilities, etc.But why do we learn to fear-the-future? Or to fear-the-unknown? Or to fear-rejection?There are many many things buried so deeply in the architecture of our minds that we, ourselves, cannot easily become aware of them. These are cultural blindspots. Yet, also, individual families have their own particular blindspots. As do entire civilizations.PART 6It is November 1929, you and I are carpenters walking to work. It is Friday and past 8am already. We are late. As we near the last hill in the road, we are surprised by silence. We should (by now) hear hammering and saws running. But instead — only silence!!As we approach the jobsite, we see several partly-built houses and a lone pickup truck with a foreman in the back (a guy named Joe) who waves us off. “Go home! We’re done working here!” We continue onward despite. We see piles of lumber, nails, hammers, and houses that need finishing. We say to Joe, “Let’s finish, the three of us, one of these houses.” Joe says — “We can’t. The bosses will be furious. I know it sounds crazy, but the bosses say that we’ve run out of inches, so we have to stop working now.”Huh???? How can that be??? How can you ever run out of inches??? This is stupid stupid stupid beyond belief. What is an inch, but an abstract, arbitrary unit of measurement that has no value unless you are using it to solve a problem — and, when the problem is solved, the inches don’t disappear. They don’t get used-up; they’re still here. It’s impossible to run out of inches.Just at that moment, one of the Big Bosses arrives, swaggering onto the scene. We can tell that he’s somebody important because of the massive tape-measure strapped to his bum. It’s so big he has to waddle. What do we do? — Are we really going to kow-tow to this guy because he has hoarded miles of inches?* * * * *OK, above is a mockery of what happened on Black Friday, 29 Nov 1929. Everybody suddenly became convinced that we were running out of dollars. And yet, what is a dollar, but an abstract, arbitrary unit of measurement that has no value unless you are using it to solve a problem (the problem of exchange) — and, when the problem is solved, the dollars don’t disappear. They don’t get used-up; they’re still here. It’s impossible to run out of dollars.Still, today, somehow, our entire civilization is convinced that dollars are real, tangible, and in short supply. Furthermore, we are convinced that “it makes sense” to hoard dollars as a hedge against an uncertain future. We make heroes of people who hoard dollars. We deride those who treat dollars like abstract inches, using them freely and paying them little heed. How did we ever get into such a “sick” state — whereby we celebrate people who hoard abstractions as a fear-response to the natural Incertitude of Life? And why-ever do we kow-tow to them???Rather, why don’t we celebrate the people who live more fluidly — in the moment — without any fear of the future? What is the nature of this cultural sickness??* * * * *Finally, consider my friend Bob — Bob travels all over the world obsessively taking photographs of thermometers. So far he has collected thousands and thousands of photos. The key to his collection — you might say, the secret to his madness — is that he only takes photos on really hot days. He’s writing a book now to celebrate his vast fortune, which now totals to millions-of-degrees, “hotter than the sun!” — He’s calling it, “Hoarding Farenheit.”Yes, Bob is badly confused, maybe insane — yet, honestly, he is no worse-off than any other person I know.Who cooked Bob’s mind? — Surely, he wasn’t born that way.PART 7How is it that we have come to fear the future? How is it that we have come to fear death? How is it that we have come to fear the unknown and the unknowable? The native peoples of North America do not teach their children to worry about the future. They teach other things. They live much more closely “to the Now,” ”to the Harmony,” and to their Gods. What, then, happens in the developing-mind of a western or eastern child the moment they learn (by observation, by direct instruction) that they must begin preparing for the future? The child becomes oppressed. As each is taught that (s)he had better snap-to and get-ready for a future that hangs over-&-against him/her like the blade of a guillotine. This is exactly how most of us were raised. The native peoples of Canada don’t live like this. They don’t “save for their retirement” — they spend their money when they have it. They share far more time with their family — really being there, in mind & heart & soul — with their beloveds. In their history, they never worried beyond the coming winter, relying entirely on this autumn’s harvest of berries, fish & meat. They were/are more social than we; and less individualistic.Theirs is a completely different way of living —— and a completely different architecture of mind.* * * * *The Algonquin peoples of central and eastern Canada used the word wetiko to describe an evil spirit that could infect a person — turning them against their community. It made that person selfish, greedy, avaricious, even cannibalistic. The wetiko cooks/distorts the architecture of the mind so that the infected can no longer see themselves as integral with their community. It super-inflates their ego, which now wants to live forever. This ego fears death, craves wealth and control, treats others very badly. It embodies black & white thinking.Any human in close contact with an infected person could, in turn, also become infected. The disharmony could then spread until entire clans or an entire people succumbed. The wetiko was highly infectious and highly destructive.* * * * *QUESTION: What would a society look like if essentially *everyone* were selfish, greedy, fearful, avaricious, and out-of-touch with any sense of the Ever-Present, Ever-Oneness of Life??Well, that’s where we in North America are at today. In some weird way, we all have cooked architectures of mind —— And I have no idea how to uncook them.PART 8It's not easy to describe what it was like for me to escape the wetiko. Nor can I explain how someone else might do so. — The best advice I can offer is to read various answers in the Enlightenment or Spiritual Awakening sections of Quora. But be forewarned — not everything you see there will make sense. Some of it is wrong; some of it only makes sense when viewed-askew. That is to say, you will need to bootstrap/evolve a different architecture of mind. You will find in these Quora sections a strong emphasis on meditation — though (it seems to me) this is neither here nor there. While meditation is a fine tool, it is not the only one which can help us to perceive & to learn —— that which can be perceived and that which can be (un)learned.POSTSCRIPT:I’ve been writing at Quora now for exactly one year. The most valuable pieces that I have written so far (in my own mind, anyway) are the pieces about how we might perceive into our own blindspots and how we might transcend the limitations of the very architectures of our minds.Sadly, I have found that most people do not use this word blindspots with the same weight and solemnity that I give it. They seem not-so-curious about the architectures of their own minds — the crypts and the secret windowless chambers therein.* * * * *Here are some links to various of my ”blindspot” pieces:What is the highest form of intelligence?Quorans with 160+ IQs, what's your most impressive intellectual feat?At what point in your life did everything start to make sense? What is the best general definition of intelligence? Can a madman realize he's mad? What is it like to be married to someone with Asperger's?In the spirit of mitigating the Dunning-Kruger effect, what are effective strategies to increase one's awareness of one's ignorance or incompetence? What is something about probability that most people don't understand?Does any physicist truly understand wave function collapse? As a person of science, has there been a particular discovery, theory, or experimental observation that caused a feeling of increased spirituality, even if only temporarily? How can the Taoist Wu Wei principle be put into practice in daily life?Comment on dyslexia, faceblindness, & musicblindness.

Is Britain a cold, uninhabitable country with small houses?

Well, if you ever looked at the world map at least once you will notice that Britain is much closer to the North than the South so it’s normal to be cold here. The United Kingdom is 3,826.26 mi (6,157.77 km) north of the equator, so it is located in the northern hemisphere. But if by “cold” you mean 365 days of freezing then I should ask “which planet are you from, exactly?!” which will mislead the whole subject. So if we put that aside, there are also rainy and sunny days here too.A sunny day in LondonA rainy day in LondonSo as you can see, Britain is a country with 4 seasons but one season is longer than the others, that’s how I like to call it. After the weather, we reach the second part of your question which can win the golden globe for you this year. I thought it’s just our Britons who have a knuckle sense of humour but apparently, some people are far better than us in this case cause currently, 66.65 million people are living in the United Kingdom (this number is for 2019 of course.)Since we have a 0.6% rate of growth then I would say it should be around 68 million, right now and there are also thousands of immigration requests from other countries for taking residency and citizenship every year. So I’m wondering you are talking about Britain or the North pole. then maybe you want to change the word “uninhabitable” with “ideal” or something positive. And last but not least, our architecture. Britain is famous for saving its classic style whether in ancient architecture or modern construction. Only bath ancient landmarks like the Roman baths (it’s a city in England, near Bristol) can correct the misconception you have about our buildings. The architecture of the United Kingdom consists of a combination of architectural styles, dating as far back as Roman architecture, to the present day 21st-century contemporary. England has seen the most influential developments, though Ireland, Scotland, and Wales have each fostered unique styles and played leading roles in the international history of architecture. But now in 2021, because of the increasing population and development in construction through the years, houses are getting smaller every day (the new ones). Analysis of the first seven years of the decade shows a continued regression in home sizes in the UK.The average living room is now 17.09[math]m^{2}[/math]. That’s a 1.64[math]m^{2}[/math] drop in a decade. Bedroom size and the number of bedrooms on offer has decreased also. Master bedrooms diminish by an average of 0.30[math]m^{2}[/math] and the number of bedrooms dropped to below three for the first time ever. The overall statistics don’t make for pretty reading either. Compared to the previous decade, homes built from 2010 onwards are over 4[math]m^{2}[/math] smaller. The studies say, average property sizes across 20 leading cities in the UK. The most startling finding of the study was that in the past 40 years, new-build homes have decreased in size by 20%. The typical new-build property averages 67.8 square metres. With the average cost of a UK property standing at £226,996; house buyers are paying close to £3,396 per square metre when they purchase the property.

I found out about CocoDoc cause I was searching online for a good video and audio converter. I tried many other free programs and software, but they never fulfilled my needs. I gave Uniconverter a try and downloaded their software. Of course, it was free trial at first, but the more I explored Uniconverter, the more it convinced me buy it. Best purchase I have made! I was surprised at the amount of tools and features Uniconverter offers. Not only does it convert audio and video, but it allows you to download media from the internet (like youtube videos) and save it to your pc. You can also download videos as audio only, which is super nice. Uniconverter can also burn cds', transfer files, and bunch of other features tailored to your media and recording needs.
