So he would not be tagged into any project easily. Company keeps on hiring year round and there is no strict rule like those hired first should be allocated projects first than those hired later. When bench employees gets high trimming process starts.Also there is rule that within 3 years band should increase for employees.Now company don’t want to increase salary and also managers can’t promote everyone as promotions are limited and already many people in managerial levels. So employees who are in non billable role or working on Wipro’s internal projects are forced to leave by initiating PIPs.
