These EOL can be granted on Medical Grounds or Other Grounds. When EOL is granted on Other Grounds the service period on such leave not considered for increment.It must be clear that except medical leave prior approval should be taken either in written or orally from immediate boss in other kind of leave, For sanctioning medical leave sickness and fitness is required from recognised hospital or AMA.As per CCS leave rules, granting leave is not a matter of right of government employee.
