That is because it is impossible for anyone to have collected such evidence.The only way you can have scientific proof of immunity is for people to have not caught the disease for a long time after recovery from an infection. There has simply not been enough time for people to show long term immunity.All they are saying, which has been true all along, is that it is not certain that a vaccine can be developed. It is probable that one can be developed, but there are plenty of people acting as if the vaccine is only a matter of time, and all we have to do is wait. That is not so.
