No.Take it from someone who himself was an actual overseas observer of American political life for most of his adult life.Two things —The remainder of anglo-saxon world find the mainstream GOP to be a socially regressive far-right radical entity.The subcontinents (where a lot of people depend on rationing system, government welfare, etc) see the economic policies endorsed by GOP, as anti-people and harmful— in short - fiscally too far-right .Two things —This image alienates the remainder of first-world.This image alienates the developing world/subcontinentsMeanwhile …This image alienates …. everyone across the world. At least everyone sane.When CNN criticizes this diaspora, they gain international audience. When FOX encourages them, they lose international audience.Plain and simple.Addendum: My 2 cents on Media-bias.Whatever conservatives tell you, the reality is :FOX News misses the mark on factuality. Not unbiasedness, but factuality.CNN, MSNBC may be just as biased. But, they are more factual than FOX. More importantly, fairer international agencies like BBC see GOP as a radical far-right political entity. BBC has more audience in the sub-continents than FOX news.

What would I, being atheist to all all gods, yet somehow suddenly finding myself before an imaginary bronze age middle eastern god (whom believers of such an unlikely entity assert as being all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, all-merciful and caring, yet…, per their own mythology, sets his greatest creations up for failure, punishing them and all their progeny forever for a crime of ignorance, creates all evil, regrets having created mankind - at least twice, slaughters millions of innocents multiple times, commands and endorses genocide, rape and slavery - even of children, rates women as less than human, lets over six million of his chosen die horribly, supposedly - again per its professed “called and chosen" spokespersons - creates hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and tsunamis because of homosexuality, which holds the same biblical punishment as eating shrimp or telling your mom off and didn't even make the god’s Top Ten…) ask it?I guess the question would have to be rhetorical and probably run along the lines of…“Dude! Ya'll sure got a whole lot of sh*t to answer for, ...don'cha?!!”Still, …Stephen Fry (a well known comedian, actor and atheist) did us all one better on this question when asked by an Irish TV commentator what he would say if he was confronted by God at the pearly gates of heaven.Fry replied: “I’d say, bone cancer in children? What’s that about?”“How dare you? How dare you create a world in which there is such misery that is not our fault. It’s not right, it’s utterly, utterly evil.“Why should I respect a capricious, mean-minded, stupid God who creates a world that is so full of injustice and pain? That’s what I would say. ”The commentators’s second question was, “And you think you are going to get in, like that?” only served to fuel Stephen's ire."But I wouldn't want to," Fry insisted. “I wouldn't want to get in on his terms.
