Yes; in fact that’s exactly how the questing system works in The Elder Scrolls Online.One member of a party can share a quest from their quest log and provided that everyone else has done the pre-requisite quests (if any), they can all accept that quest and proceed to complete it. Though one wonky thing about party quests in TESO is that sometimes the objectives of the quest have to be completed once for each party member—that means that instead of flipping a switch once to complete an objective for all members, it has to be flipped as many times as there are party members. There’s seemingly no basis for knowing which quests will behave in what way.Level scaling is automatically taken care of in TESO; characters who are too high-leveled for the current area have their levels scaled to match, but not the other way around. Mods, however, are not present in this game.

Watching the pressure gauge indicator move slowly toward near-vacuum, I was calm. With a “go” from the ground control team, I confirmed the airlock hatch pressure was close to zero and began to manipulate the manual hatch handle. Turning the requisite one-and-a-half turns, the seal separated from the outer ring and the hatch was free to open.Serving in the coveted slot of lead spacewalker (EV-1), I was heading outside with a Russian cosmonaut. I had never before been on a spacewalk.Carefully lifting the small welded handle on the hatch’s inner frame, I pulled straight up and then pushed forward, folding the hatch’s outer edge against the wall and locking it in the open position.“Houston, EV-1, the hatch is open and locked,” I called.“Copy. Hatch open and locked,” came CAPCOM Chris Cassidy’s echoing reply.Awaiting the official call from CAPCOM for egress, I took a few seconds to float over the three-foot opening. Following a curved handrail outlining the hatch circumference with the fingertips of my gloved right hand, I reoriented slightly, positioning myself for a head-first exit. Earth is upper left in the picture.Having opened the hatch when the sun was shielded by the Earth, it was the blackest black I had ever seen. Tiny ice particles flew from the left, behind my suit, to instantly disappear in the darkness before me. Created by my suit’s sublimator (its air conditioning system), the particles originated in the airlock where the pressure was slightly above zero. With the vacuum of space totally void of pressure, the difference pushes the ice from high to low pressure, just as wind blows autumn leaves on the Earth.Hundreds of thoughts should have been running through my head, but there was only one: “I was born to be here, right now, doing this.”Keep lookin’ up…, or down if you’re exiting the space station airlock!
