It was in 2008 when there was no capital to do anything and I looked at it as a chance to see the Smokey Mountains with someone flying me on their jet, and business was dead anyway so I happily went. Beautiful country and the development would have been awesome had it been real.It was all fake and was a mortgage fraud scheme. He was a legit associate of the Mafia. In 1987 he was dining at a restaurant in the Upper East Side and his dining partner was shot in the head (Tie to Schiff Associate Admitted), and back in the 60’s through the 80’s he ran a union and a company of 3000 NYC electricians who built most of the city in that time. He was a Genovese associate and the only reason he wasn’t made was because it was more useful for him to have not been. He told me that.Legitimate and literal mobster.However, he had a code. He’d fuck the banks over (and went to jail forever for it) but he wouldn’t fuck the everyday guy over. He told stories of Trump not paying his contractors so they’d inflate the rat and boycott his building until he paid. And the contractors that Trump didn’t pay weren’t the big 3000 employee companies, they were the mom and pops so Dom would direct his people to fuck with Trump.Dom is a criminal and he deserves to be in jail but he looked down at Trump because he had no code. Dom would scam money from banks but he wouldn’t ratfuck someone with no money. He had the old Mafia code of not hurting civilians. I’d seen him quietly give hundreds to guys just trying to feed their families when most bosses wouldn’t have batted an eyelash.Dom’s take on Trump, and this was back before Trump even thought he could be president, was that he was an immoral bastard. The guy stole from everyone in NYC and no one likes or trusts him. He’s a criminal just like Dom but at least Dom is honest about it and in jail.
