Saffron CBSE is trending on twitter because of the recent announcement of CBSE to reduced syllabus by 30% for academic year 2020–21.People are tweeting against this steps as the chapters removed from syllabus Seemed to be pro-BJP(Saffron for Hinduism and Pro-BJP) .People are also tweeting in favour of this and supporting the CBSE and BJP government step:Now, most people tweeting this are not aware of the fact that this is just one time thing for this year due to COVID-19 situation.“The rationalization of syllabus up to 30% has been undertaken by the Board for nearly 190 subjects of elms IX to XII for the academic session 2020,21 as a one time measure only," the Board clarified in a statement.The Board stated that the objective behind the cut in syllabus is in order to reduce the examination stress of the students due to the current situation of coronavirus pandemic leading to health emergency circumstances as well as to "prevent learning gaps."The education board also clarified that no question shall be asked from the reduced syllabus in the Board Exams for 2020-2021, only."The schools have been directed to follow the Alternative Academic Calendar prepared by NCERT for transacting the curriculum. It is almost confirmed to start from January 2021 onwards.This is the updated Academic calendar released by IISER-Mohali for the MS20 ( Freshers) Batch. Some changes may be made later on, but classes are more or less confirmed to start from January 4–5th.You can find the academic calendar here -https://www.iisermohali.ac.in/files/pdf/DeanAcad/MS20%20batch.pdf.Assuming other IISERs will also start classes around a similar time, this should explain what to expect.I hope this helps!

For Supreme court Health of their citizens will always be the first priority. Not a single death would be acceptable to SC.Gujrat parents association have filed a petition in the supreme court stating that the further delay in the exams will disturb the mental condition of the Students. The plea also says that further Delay in Exams will disturb the academic calendar of both 2020 and 2021.Let make things clear on this:-Actually, It is rich parents association. They do not care about the poor students, who have to travel 100-200 km to reach the exam centre by using public transport.There will be many students who are not so financially stable to spend 10-12 lakh for the covid treatment. Many of them, will struggle even to get a bed in the hospital.Their plea states that further delay in exams would disturb the Academic calendar of 2020 and 2021, despite of the Fact that IIT Delhi Director in one of his interview said that if the exams are getting postpone again, they are ready to manage the academic calendar.Their plea states that further postponement, will lead to mental trauma but what about the mental trauma which the students are facing who are already affected by covid, flood. Will those students be able to give their 100% in exams?The Ongoing crisis demands for postponement not the students!Their petition is heavily biased and is totally based on assumption and prediction.
