You must admit that you’ve gotten crazier quite quickly in this new century. All the loud-mouthed know-nothings have got to go. Oh sure, you can still have your know-nothings, but they should no longer be allowed to yell at the cameras their crazed spittle. They’d have to wear a tie and jacket. Do you hear me, Mr. Jim Jordan of Ohio?; no more pettifogging and gaslighting, no more just playing the game as if it were just a game.You’d have to rid yourselves of those who want to defrock us of our rights to women’s choice, freedoms to vote without hindrance, fairness of wage and health care, our rights to clean water and clear air.You’d have to choose science over science fiction.You’d have to agree that alternative facts are simply lies.You’d have to undress QAnon and send them intellectually naked to whence they came, the darkest corners of the darkest places. You’d have to purge them from your ranks and promise to not vote for them in the next election.These things should be simple.Will you do it?Not a chance.
